- Callum (10/5): -
- Tracey (10/5): Amazing stay made lots of beautiful memories - Fabulous area
Hostess absolutely amazing lady
Character to the property Everything spot on
- Charlotte (10/5): Cosy and simple B&B - The host was very welcoming and very accommodating. The room was clean and well-kept, the bathroom was good (great shower) and the bed was comfortable. The snacks and tea/coffee selection provided by the host were a really nice touch. It would be nice to have a small desk or somewhere to work in the room. The toilet struggled to flush on occasion
- Jane (10/5): Caroline couldn’t do enough for us exceptional. - Very clean and ideally located to the local pub. No hair dryer but Caroline did say she’d get one.
- Annika (9/5): A friendly and helpful hostess. - Caroline was a very friendly and helpful hostess.
The house is ideally located for visiting Goodwood racecourse.
- Claire (10/5): Great value and really homely comfort. - Homely. Everything was done with enormous care and thoughtfulness. Lovely details and little touches which make all the difference. Incredibly comfortable bed! Pristine cleanliness. Nothing
- christopher (6/5): The owner was extremely nice. It wasn't what we expected but we should have paid more attention - There was no breakfast though the very pleasant owner recommended an excellent cafe in the next village. Having no access to a lounge or dining room. We had an ensuite bathroom but our daughter had a shared bathroom.
- Mitchel (8/5): Picturesque and scenic views. - Nice quiet location. Hostess very friendly and helpful. Very clean and tidy. No TV in room.
- Jade (10/5): Absolutely great - Caroline was an absolutely fantastic host and was so accommodating when I requested to check in early due to a wedding. The room was very comfortable and clean and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend if you're looking for somewhere to stay in the area.
- W (8/5): - Communication was terrible. No phone number to call the host and confirm Checkin time.
- Noora (10/5): - Quiet and beautiful location in a small village was just what I needed. Had a relaxing time. Garoline was lovely and made sure I had everything needed. Hattie the dog was a welcomed addition to the visit. Garoline even offered me a lift to the station upon leaving. I highly recommend.
- Brian (9/5): - For our host Caroline & four legged friend Hattie nothing was too much trouble....
From hand written suggestions for our trip to the IoW,
to escorting us to the pub, she couldn't have been more helpful.
Charming village, perfect for quiet overnight visit.
Thank you Caroline.
- Margaret (6/5): Pleasant -

- Marie (10/5): Wonderful stay! - We had a wonderful time, Caroline is an amazing host, really nice and always ready to help (she let us come back to take a shower after the check out as we were running a trail nearby!).

- Simon (5/5): Passable - The host was lovely and friendly and really wanted to make sure we were welcomed. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable When we returned to the property we had been locked out with the latch put on so the key we had been given couldn't unlock the door. The host was unreachable and we only got in after 10 minutes, when another guest came down to let us in.
- Jane (10/5): A perfect stay - The house is in a cul de sac in a delightful small village which is close to several places is interest.
Although there was an option for a room with a shared bathroom, I chose to stay in the room with en suite. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable and I slept well. A variety of tea and coffee options were available along with kettle and milk. Caroline, the owner, provided bottles of water for the room and for me to take out which was helpful. Although no meals are included, a fridge is available on the landing in the property on which some cereal boxes are placed and milk is available on the fridge. There was a fruit bowl and some snacks all available as needed. Caroline has a lovely, very friendly dog. My stay was perfect
- Barry (9/5): Well worth booking if you are going to the Race Course - Very friendly and helpful land lady - location in respect of the Race Course could not have been better
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional - Stayed for 3 nights while I did a course at west dean college. Very pleasant proprietor with support from Hattie the dog. Good room with en-suite. Brian

Beds comfortable, very nice part of the West Sussex countryside to be in. Beautifully quiet. Great pub 3mins walk from the property. What's not to love ? Highly recommended and will be back :-) Not applicable.
- Paul (8/5): Just what I needed but much nicer than I expected. - Personal touch from my host, everything was very clean, and a great selection of tea coffee, and biscuits in my room including breakfast items. I had my own fridge. A lovely view from my room. Nothing really
- Colin (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (6/5): Three days at the races. SW - The area and its location were lovely. Couldn't have asked for anything better. It would have been nice to have had a tv for the evenings. Especially after a long days walk.
- Judith (10/5): A comfortable stay in a welcoming environment. - Incredibly friendly welcome and attention to detail, including generously providing breakfast items which we did not expect. Nothing
- Kerri (10/5): Goodwood members meeting - It was so close to goodwood.
Caroline was wonderful and the extra touches were appreciated. Nothing
- Geoffrey (9/5): The hostess could not do enough for me. Perfect. - Everything provided satisfied my requirements and the glass or two of white wine was a bonus! The shower was a bit weak.
- Louis (10/5): Excellent host. Perfect room and location for my requirements. Thanks! -
- Stephen (8/5): The owner made our 2 night stay a delight and we were very happy. - Delightful host who could not do more to make our stay a pleasant one. Excellent location and easy access for the Goodwood festival and the Weald and Downland living museum and Repair Shop. Excellent local pub/restaurants, one within easy walking distance. Very safe atmosphere in the area but it is a room in a home. Friendly small dog is well controlled. Parking on the small drive or in the close was easy. A lock on the room door would have been preferred (we live in a less secure environment!) We believe the letting was a new one and the provision of water, coffee/tea and fresh milk as well as fruit and juice were generous and perhaps unsustainable long term. Hanging for clothes was by door hooks only which was amplified by "our dressing up" for the Revival!
