• Beata (9/5): A very comfortable apartment close to the ferry terminal in Papeete. - Cleanness, comfort, well equipped, safe, good standard, safe garage with a remote, air conditioned It was not so easy to find it in the darkness. Strange people sit every evening at the corner of the property.

• George (9/5): When you're staying away from home, you want to feel at home—safe, convenient, and that's all here, plus a beau - It's very convenient to be near the dock, market, and supermarket. The house is clean, comfortable, and cozy. In particular, the owner, Ms. Lucie, was very caring and helpful, and responded to any needs immediately.
• Daniel (8/5): well located apartment, clean and quiet - Lucie is a wonderful host, always willing to share info and suggestions about visits,shopping..etc. She was kind enough to pick us up at the airport even though the plane got delayed and she kept smiling. The apartment is strategically located with a beautiful park right across the boulevard, the center is just a few minutes away by foot, there's a supermarket about 2 blocks away. Lucie keeps everything tidy,clean,there's a washer, a kitchen,water in the fridge,2 bathrooms,air conditioning,wifi..all you need for a worry free stay. Tahitian hospitality and kindness at it's best The elevator is a little small,if you have many suitcases.We would have loved a dryer, but it's common in tahiti not to have one. And a blanket or two, as it can get a little chilly during the night,when the AC is on or when the temperature drops.

• Emanuel (9/5): Overall great! - Beds: they're quite firm, which I prefer, so they were great Bathroom: it was good 👍 Water pressure could be better but not issues here Kitchen: You forbidden to fry but apart from that everything else was good. Great big fridge. Wifi: good, no issues for normal usage Other: smart TV is great; garage was good but the space is rather tight; Tiny things: there weren't any umbrellas which would have been useful; the chairs in the dinning room were not that comfortable; the place is THE busy road of the island so traffic noise is constant, for a long stay could be annoying but at night it calms down, so nothing to worry about

The hostess' husband took us everywhere in his taxicab, we didn't need a car. Bus service was very convenient if we had chosen to use it. Best of all was the fact the hostess made us part of her family and took care of issues that she didn't have to. She smoothed our way in a hundred ways! NA

A place for pampering yourself. - Lucie was so accommodating with our arrival and departures, suggestions, and allowing us to stay until evening before taking us to the airport at 8:30pm. The apartment was exceptionally clean, luxury, and especially the location. The park across the road was beautiful for walks, dining, and watching the sunset on the waterfront! The restaurant downstairs was wonderful Italian food, huge portions, and great staff. It was an easy walk to the market downtown and a great little smoothies at HiTea on our way back. Our hosts offered some great tours around Tahiti, but we had already finished our trip. The apartment was exactly what we needed for rest before flying home. Wonderful people too! We liked everything.

• CHRISTINE (10/5): Close to cruise ships and ferry terminal - Apartment in walking distance to the cruise ship and ferry port close to food market cafe’s and bars on the water front. The apartment is beautiful it has a wrap around balcony road noise when windows open but ok when closed. It has views overlooks park and has amazing security. Lucie pick us up in the pouring rain from airport and let us into building at 2:30am. Fantastic service for a fee better than a taxi. Day of departure we were pick up in a taxi took us for a drive to waterfalls and beaches they then drop us at the cruise ship port-extra fee but well worth it. Road noise when sliding doors open

• Todd (10/5): City convenience with Polynesian hospitality in the heatt et of Papeete. - Great location in the heart of Papeete, convenient to everything in the city if you have business, shopping or any other need to be in town. Lucie and Charles were so helpful, proactive and organized. They treated me like Ohana from the moment I booked and sent all the information I needed for the stay straight away without me even asking, taking all the guesswork out of preparing to arrive in French Polynesia. Lucie went above and beyond with getting me settled in the flat, even helping with some customs paperwork issues for my sailing trip. There is a bit of traffic noise early in the morning, which didn’t bother me at all, but some people might not like the busy street nearby.

• Bostjan Kos (10/5): Great experience – thank you, Ms. Lucy! - Ms. Lucy welcomed us at the airport with beautiful shell necklaces, which was such a warm and thoughtful gesture. On the way to the accommodation, she gave us a short tour of the city and its main sights, which was a lovely introduction to the area. The place itself was beautifully furnished, very clean, and comfortable. In the evening, she taught my daughter and me some traditional dances and shared many interesting facts about the local culture. We truly appreciate all the extra time, effort, and kindness she showed us. This experience will stay in our hearts as a beautiful memory. ❤️
• grace (10/5): Immaculate rental - Papeete has never been my favorite place to stay, but this rental completely changed my mind. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by Poehere — truly the most stunning and gracious host I’ve ever met. Her warm greeting set the perfect tone for my visit. The apartment was immaculate, thoughtfully stocked, and (most importantly) had fantastic air conditioning — a lifesaver in Papeete’s heat. With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, it was both cozy and spacious, easily accommodating a family. The décor was unforgettable, filled with trophies and memorabilia honoring a remarkable family history of champion outrigger paddlers and beauty queens. It gave the space so much character and a sense of local pride. If I ever need to stay in Papeete again, I sincerely hope this rental is available. Mauruuru roa, Poehere — you made my short stay truly special. The noisy city. But if you have to be in the city you will feel cozy staying here.

Muy buen servicio de taxi cumpliendo con todos los horarios previstos. El último día pudimos dejar las maletas un tiempo extra que nos permitió realizar un safari 4x4 por el valle de Papenoo. La ubicación muy buena, justo delante de los jardines de Paofai y a poca distancia del centro (mercado..). El apartamento muy confortable. Las habitaciones con camas muy cómodas y la cocina bien equipada. Todo correcto.

• Mary (10/5): Perfect place to stay in Papeete. - Lucie Poehere made this stay absolutely effortless. She met me at the airport at 2:20am and escorted me into the well appointed 2 bedroom apartment that was in a very secure building.
• Christiane (10/5): Perfect place in downtown - The apartment is conveniently located across the road from Paofai Garden, in walking distance to many shops and restaurants and the market. Well equipped with everything you could need, including tea, coffee, and cookies. The beds are super comfortable. An extra 10+ rating for the host, Lucie. She was extremely helpful, kind, and provided us with airport transfer at a very early hour. Wish we could have stayed longer. Everything good. Yes, there is quite some traffic on the road in front of the building, but it didn't bother us at all.

• Marie (10/5): Beautiful Papeete - Lucie made our stay in Papeete wonderful! The apartment was beautifully decorated, very spacious and well stocked. The location was in walking distance to shopping, grocery store, cruise port and a nice walk along the pier. The park across the street was beautiful. As an added benefit, Lucie and Charles offer a taxi service and an island tour. We took advantage of both. The island tour with Lucie was definitely the highlight of our trip. The island was absolutely stunning and her knowledge of the history of Tahiti made it the most memorable. Thank You for a wonderful stay on your beautiful island.

Lucie the host is very responsive, warm, and helpful. The beds were so comfortable. The location is convenient, across the street from a park that is great for walking and watching sunsets, near to good restaurants, and a short walk from a supermarket. The elevator wasn’t working one day so I had to carry my bags down a couple flights of stairs. WiFi doesn’t extend to the room further from the lounge.

Unfortunately the elevator was out of order but the owner gave us a helping hand for our luggage. A bit noisy due to heavy traffic in front on the building.

• Anita (10/5): Don’t judge a book by it’s cover; neighborhood is gritty - Just lovely. This apartment was clean, beautifully decorated and fully equipped. Lucie is a wonderful person and happy to provide information and advice. Her husband Charles can provide island tours. Ask about her mother-in-law’s jewelry store. Across the street from the waterfront park, with many restaurants, and a great place for an evening stroll. There is a Italian restaurant just downstairs as well as the pearl museum a block away. Five minute walk to Champion Grocery Store. Close to downtown and Marché de Papeete. Because it is downtown; you are should be aware that you’ll see poverty and homeless people. It’s in a perfectly safe neighborhood, but seems a little gritty when one arrives in the early morning. A couple of harmless unsheltered people sleep outside.
• Stephen (10/5): Outstanding 2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom property in Papeete - Great location in Papeete. Across the street from the waterfront, less than 1 block to a large Champions grocery store, easy walk to market and food trucks or ferry. Very clean, had everything to exceed our expectations. Great amenities. The way the location was communicated made it hard to find for our cab from the airport. Messaging through the Booking.com system were not getting to the property manager/owner so some anxiety on arrival not knowing if we had the right location and we did not have access codes until the property manager/owner arrived. He was delightful and this is an outstanding property.
• Michael (8/5): Good option for longer stay. - Very comfortable and clean, decent kitchen. Host was helpful with settling in and accomodating with times around cleaners. Car park downstairs very handy. Italian restaurant downstairs was tasty and handy, easy walk to waterfront and local shops/facilities. Wifi doesn’t range far from the lounge and slow, was a bit difficult when using apartment as mobile office. Some issues with the water pressure in both bathrooms but was much improved following repairs.
