• Chard (10/5): A magnificent historic building in a great location. - This was our first visit to Naples. We chose the historic district so of course we knew the buildings would be hundreds of years old. We weren't prepared for the grandeur that awaited us once we got through the front entrance. The room was much larger than we expected and beautifully appointed.

• Karen (8/5): Beautifully presented rooms right in the busy, lively heart of the historical centre. - My room was beautifully furnished, bright and airy, and the property is in a very central location - right in the heart of the narrow, cobbled streets of the Centro Storico - and really comfortable. It’s a very walkable area with stalls / shops, bars and restaurants lining the area. The hosts were quick to respond to problems and despite my initial worries about organising / getting a taxi to the apartment and dragging my bag along cobbles, there’s a stand only 200 m away, right opposite the entrance to the Duomo. Being in the very heart of the old city, it can be noisy at night (even with the shutters closed). I sleep with a white noise app which blocked it out, but if you need quiet to sleep, it could be a problem. Also as solo female traveller, I didn’t want to come back too late; entry is via a dark courtyard / stair and whilst during the day that felt fine, I wasn’t as comfortable at night. If I’d been travelling as a couple, it would have been fine.

Modern rooms and amenities - we really appreciated the strong air conditioning on a hot weekend in Naples! Very prompt and helpful service via WhatsApp. Highly recommend! By nature of a guest house and because we were in a room right next to the front door, sometimes we could hear other guests arriving/leaving. It wasn't an issue for us, but if you're a very light sleeper, there's a chance you could be woken up by someone coming in late.
• Bernd (9/5): Tolles Apartment in der Altstadt Neapels - Die Lage in Neapels Altstadt ist einmalig. Direkt neben dem Dom gelegen, sind alle Sehenswürdigkeiten Neapels schnell zu erreichen. Der Gepäcktransport vom nächstgelegenen Parkhaus oder vom Bahnhof ist aber nicht ganz einfach. Obwohl zentral gelegen, sind die Zimmer ruhig und der Schlaf wurde nicht gestört. Wir haben niemanden persönlich getroffen, aber der Check-in war problemlos. Was uns gefehlt hat, war ein kleiner Kühlschrank, denn in der sommerlichen Hitze Italiens wäre es gut, bei der Rückkehr kalte Getränke zu haben. Die Klimaanlage hat zum Glück hervorragend funktioniert und das Bad ist groß und schön.

The building was easy to find, and the floor where the rooms are located has been fully renovated and beautifully decorated. Our room was clean, spacious, and equipped with air conditioning, which made our stay very comfortable. Although the property uses a self-check-in process, everything went smoothly and quickly—we had no issues getting in. While they don’t offer breakfast service, they did leave some cookies and sweets for us, which was a nice touch.

• Anonymous (8/5): Very good - In an amazing location, right near Duomo di Santa Maria Assunta. Definitely a must stay for anyone interested in history - the building is old and well maintained. A bit of a walk from the port if planning to travel to Amalfi, Capri, or Positano. Gorgeous bathroom. Had some issues with outlet and AC, just make sure if using a cable adapter (mine was US to EU), to not leave it charging for too long (overnight) along with using the AC at 16C. Because of the old building, seems this overheated and as a safety measure, it shut off the power in my room. I did leave the charger plugged into the wall during 1 day without charging anything and this seemed to have added to the issue. The man who came to help with this issue was very friendly and helpful, and even made me coffee afterwards. AC and charging worked completely fine afterwards after taking some precautions (setting the AC to 20C and not leaving the adapter in the wall when leaving for a while).

We even got a bottle of bubbles on arrival! Nothing, it was great. Only thing is there is a bit of noise from the street at night but it usually stops by 11pm.

The room was very clean and the size was incredible (room 3 - for history buffs it’s a dream come true). I believe it was part of an old monastery and is almost breathing history. The location is perfect for those who need a homebase set conveniently in the middle of it all - walking distance to almost anywhere in 15 minutes. A perfect spot to step out of the door and wander for miles. Literally. The hosts are sweet, accommodating and responsive. Directions are clear and very understandable. When I come back to Naples, I wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else. No breakfast - but there is a caffe machine and snacks galore. Easy quick grab on the way out. And really, Naples is all about trying new food spots.

• John (7/5): Nice apartment for convenient but a bit rundown location - The room was nice and was clean and comfortable. If you are looking for something not too far from the station, the location is decent - the station area is rather grimy (which is not the fault of this property), just that the area of the apartment is a bit grimy as well. The building is a little run down, but the apartment itself is decent. My biggest difficulty was with access to entry. Getting into the apartment, the instructions were a bit complicated, didn't work easily the first several times, and were then confusing trying to understand how everything worked (the instructions were a bit tricky, I was given a key that didn't actually have a function, there were no actual instructions on how to get the wifi or ac to work, mostly little things, but because there is no reception or people to ask directly, it was a bit tricky). Also, the location was decent and fairly convenient to the train station but it is a somewhat grimy part of the city. I don't think anyone would be able to get anything more convenient to the station in an area any better.

The host was very helpful and responsive and made sure to check in with us during our stay. The complimentary snacks and drinks were a welcome extra- Perfect hosts and would definitely stay here again if we ever came back to Naples. Nothing- everything was clean and looked after.
• Ana (8/5): Perfect location, comfortable and quiet at night - We booked the Deluxe room for a 7 nights. The owner was very kind and helpful. The room was very quiet during the night, a great perk considering the location - in the very middle of the loud and ever-animated Via dei Tribunali. There is also an elevator which is not to be taken for granted in Naples’ old town. We found the room comfortable for sleeping and resting in general except for the opening/closing of the main door to the apartment which was quite loud (we had the room right next to the apartment entrance). The room set-up is a bit crowded with little space around the bed, the intention was to work occasionally but both the table and the chair are very small, not fit (and also surely not intended) for working. Some occasional smell from the bathroom (dampness related I believe).

Had an elevator! Great shower. Comfortable bed. Housekeeping each day. Cafe right at the corner and many restaurants nearby on Via Tribunal. Nothing really….we had a wonderful time.

We really liked all the antiques on display and in the room, they added to the charm and uniqueness of this hotel. We felt the owner went above and beyond when it came to making us feel welcome and the arrangements prior to arrival were excellent. The hotel doesn’t provide breakfast, however there were some delicious snacks and coffee available for guests and these were very much appreciated. Thank you! 🥰 If we come back to Napoli we will definitely rebook Xenia Neapolis and will recommend to others visiting the city. Nothing.
• Irvin (10/5): Central Naples Oasis - We were taken aback by the entryway of this somewhat worn looking, centuries old building. But do not be concerned. This newly renovated apartment, with excellent amenities, a fully and well-appointed bathroom, and a great location, was a wonderful find. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The common room had snacks, fruit and beverages, including great coffee, which we had access to all day. And it would be difficult to find a better location, next to the Duomo and a multitude of restaurants, bars and cultural sites. Finally, it was quiet and safe.

Loved the sitting room with the balcony. Spacious, with really comfortable bed. Instructions for check in very clear. There is also a stocked frig in the room with water and other beverages. The location is in the middle of the bustling historic section but it is so quiet when in the room. • Joanne (10/5): When visiting Naples I would recommend staying here, the cleanliness and location is perfect. - The location is in a square with the most amazing church at the end - You MUST go inside. It is also on the main tourist stretch of road which is more like a one way cobbled street - the down side is mopeds/cars and noise through the early hours but the double glazing is very good in the accommodation. The communal area with a few breakfast snacks, kettle and coffee machine was a nice touch. The smallest dislike ever... they could have provided more milk for tea drinkers. There was only a few little plastic UHT type pots supplied each day. That's only because I don't drink coffee so I go through a lot of tea :-)

Remote reception worked very well and Stiliana answered every time instantly when we had something to ask. The room was nice and clean, with many options to adjust lights and air condition. Small breakfast was nice suprise, when we thought there would not be breakfast served. There is nothing to complain.

• Terryelisabeth (9/5): Fabulous hidden gem in the middle of the historic centre of Naples. - The location was absolutely fantastic, right in the historic centre. The property had a private courtyard so was super safe and secure, and an elevator which made getting the bags upstairs easy. We stayed at the height of summer so thankfully the air conditioning was excellent. The room and the bathroom were both great. There were complementary coffee and snacks which was a really nice touch. I would highly recommend this property for a stay in the heart of Naples, it was clean, comfortable and convenient. The manager of the property Stiliana was also super helpful and very kind. Only one tiny thing, everything was great except the pillows in the hotel were absolutely useless, totally flat to the point they might as well not have been there. This wouldn't stop us from staying here again, as overall we loved the place, but it would be nice if these were updated for better ones.
• Pia (10/5): Wonderful mix of historical and modern home - We had an amazing stay there as it was our first time in Napoli! I liked the interior design. Our room is very big and super clean. We couldn’t stop staring at the wonderful, historical ceiling from our bed. It’s very impressive because it’s more than hundreds years old. The owner is easy to reach out if you need something or have questions, she‘s happy to answer! The location is in centre so it’s near to go to restaurants, shops and supermarkets. We would definitely come again :) -

• Reetta (9/5): Superb - The location was everything. Out of the door and you’re right there to see the Caravaggio paintings. Very nice small B&B, no concierge services or staff, but a host on WhatsApp who is so attentive and takes care of your stay, and taxi needs well. The room was fabulous and exactly as in the pictures.
• Erin (9/5): Would stay here again! - Great location! Felt like we could walk anywhere. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Place felt extremely safe/secure. Elevator, although still had to carry our bags up several steps into the apartment. No breakfast, but several snacks available for free. Close parking in a ramp/garage. Extremely clean room. Could tell that it had been recently renovated/updated. Air conditioning worked well. No staff on site, but self check-in was simple. Staff very attentive via WhatsApp. No breakfast available. Shower area separate from bathroom, which was different but fine. Not enough shades/curtains, so room was very bright in the mornings.

A very comfortable bed and a modern bathroom - for our purpose it was great.

• Rosanna (8/5): Convenience in central Naples - Clean in a central location! I read a review saying the bathroom was narrow and like a shoebox but I have to disagree - the room we were in had a big bathroom, similar to what you’d find at a hotel. The creaky elevator landing - but it’s better than taking stairs.
• Kei (8/5): A nice stay - The location was close to many restaurants and short walk to the shopping area. The lady was nice and helpful though she spoke no English but we can communicate by Google translate. Walk a bit from the station, but this is a minor problem. The instruction for entering the property is a bit confused.
