Basil (4/5): - The bedding was very clean, the air-conditioner worked well, and the interior decoration was outstanding. I initially booked a “sleep & go,” but later upgraded to a “better” room with more amenities. However, I struggled with the Wi-Fi. After repeatedly asking for the password, I found the network too poor to use and reverted to my own data. Although load-shedding schedules were shared, power outages disrupted their pumping systems. We had no water for 2 hours due to a lack of backup systems, which reflects poor planning. Visitors should not expect consistent hot running water, if any at all. To check if my criticism was fair, I reviewed other guests’ feedback and saw similar concerns raised throughout 2025. This suggests the property owner and management team do not take these reviews seriously, as none have been addressed except perhaps the air-conditioning. Summary: The apartment was aesthetically pleasing. However, the inconsistent hot water supply, lack of Wi-Fi, cold-water outages during load shedding due to a lack of backup systems, and the ever-so-defensive host spoiled the whole experience.

Hitekani Maluleke (8/5): - Clean rooms, the facility manager always goes the extra mile for guests. The very hot then very cold water in the shower. The guard could be more presentable and professional.
Tshepiso (8/5): Very good - The was no hot water, and we had to take a cold shower in the cold winter morning. Electricity was switched off as early as 5am while we were still preparing ourselves, it was a mess.

Riaan (9/5): Tintswalo is best in Giyani - I loved the way I was welcomed. Even when I was a bit late, I was foned to ascertain my whereabouts. Awesome and caring.🙂 In my room, the aircon was leaking water. They mitigated it by supplying me with a portable fan.
Gregory (2/5): They can't tell the diff on room vs an apartment. Confirmations of booking is misleading. - They told us we are booking 3 apartments. The assumption is that the apartments are not for sharing. The apartments have two bedrooms each. So if you are a couple using one room, they sell the other room. So you end up with a stranger unknown people in the apartment, sharing facilities.

Zungu (9/5): Disappointing - That the place is not crowded That the 1 bedroom set up is not a great plan. A bachelor set up for 3 nights was a nightmare. From 6 months ago prices increased from R750 to 1800 per night for a 2 bedroom. No towels, no cutlery, and only open view channels

Matlou (8/5): Very good - The apartments felt like home away from home, the staff was very helpful and welcoming. It was not 100% clean, there was dust on the bedroom furniture, cutlery provided was not enough, but overall the place is very nice, next to the main road, it is loft apartments.

I worked until late and went to bed around midnight - noticed that the sheets and frill were dirty and called the manager who moved me to a different room. The sheets in that room were clean but in the morning I discovered that the throw over blankets had food marks

Johanna (8/5): Very good - The place is easy to find and near town. It was neat, and comfortable. The linen was also clean. The beds were comfortable. The owner took the initiative to find out our arrival time and made sure someone met us. We did not have bath towels. We only had two hand towels. The shower, shower doors and the taps were dirty. Dedicated inspection after the cleaning can help.

Faku (7/5): Tintswalo Elegant Apartments - The place is lovely and looks better than in the pictures. The beds are comfortable and the linen is clean. The shower sink is too small. Giyani is hot, you will need an additional aircon in the rooms. The shower and cupboards were not clean. The toilet rolls were half-used and there were no extra ones. The beverage crops were not refilled, and containers were empty. Other than that I would make a booking if aircon would be available in the rooms😊
Roskin (10/5): Tintswalo, your Home away from Home💯😁❤️🙏 - The apartment is out of this world. This is really home away from home. No power outs, no rowdy and unnecessary noise. The rooms are very comfortable and the lounge area is very cozy. Big smart TV to relax and watch Netflix, showmax and YouTube. Wifi is a bonus for the price. I would recommend Tinswalo to all my family and friends as this place is absolutely stunning whether you on business or leisure or even just to stop over on a long journey on your way to the Kruger Park. Most affordable place and absolutely peaceful. Try it out and you will be definitely satisfied. I will definitely book this place again in the future. Thanks Musa for your hospitality and your professionalism, much appreciated There is absolutely nothing negative with this establishment, it's really a first of extreme luxury that I personally came across throughout South Africa

Cleopatra (6/5): It was value for money, just up a notch on the cleanliness the place is gold. - The rooms are elegant and still new. The Kitchen is superb, with cozy living room. The room are still new, But there were cobwebs showing that the cleaners are not giving attention yet the rooms are now occupied. Came back from work my Bed was not done and my room was not cleaned. I didn't have towels in my room.
