Guest Reviews
- Lois (8/5): Cute and comfortable place - would recommend. - Lovely location and the property was well decorated and furnished. Very comfortable beds. The owner was also really helpful when I had queries and did what they could to accommodate our needs. There was a bit of mould in the front bedroom which affected my husband’s breathing as he is very sensitive to this. It didn’t affect me and probably wouldn’t affect most people.
- jeremy (7/5): - The heating could not be changed as controls locked. This meant the place was freezing in the early morning , afternoon and late night. The agents did not respond to my messages. This spoiled the stay
- Joshua (9/5): Comfy stay in the Peaks - Lovely location. Clean, quaint property. Excellent facilities with the log burner, cooking facilities, comfy bed etc.
Perfect for a couple/small family if you don't mind the lack of garden. Shower could have been a bit warmer, but did the job.
- Julie (10/5): Beautiful cosy cottage , just what is needed after a day exploring. - The cottage is cosy and has easy access to the beautiful surroundings .
It was very clean and a welcome pack upon arrival. Thank you .
- Marion (10/5): Brilliant -
- Nicholas (10/5): Cosy, comfortable and very clean - Location was perfect , there is a pub across the road and we were only a short distance to local villages The only thing that let me down personally was there was no garden to the rear but other than that it was perfect
- Stephen (9/5): Superb -
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely cosy cottage. The kitchen has everything you need. Specious, modern shower. No garden, but who needs a garden when you are in the middle of Peak district. The owner is a very kind and helpful lady.
The opposite cottage is Queen Annie pub, the food is great. We will definitely come back again. Lovely country smell of sheep and caws. Cute sounds of them.
20 minutes away by var from Winnas pass, Mam Tor, caverns, etc. 💖💖💖
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thomas (8/5): Well-equipped cottage in the heart of Derbyshire - The cottage has been fitted with a new heating system and new appliances. We were the first guests to use the brand-new toaster, and the dishwasher is A1.
The heating, we were told, had been set up for us. Problem was it did not work as described in the otherwise very helpful and detailed instructions. We got by with the help of the fireplace and our landlady, who was able to fiddle with the settings remotely. The cottage felt a bit damp on arrival, and the fact that the heatings wasn't working did not help.
- Sarah (10/5): Cute Cosy Cottage in The Peaks! - Lovely cosy cottage with a log burner. Nice welcome hamper which was an unexpected surprise. Everything you need. Would recommend to anyone needing to stay in the area. Nothing not to like!
- Jeremy (8/5): Very good - key safe instructions were that it was at rear of property. It is at the front. Safe was stuck, hard to open.
Coulld do with washing machine. Could be installed.
Otherwise all good.
- Ellis (9/5): Superb - The serene location with a cosy fireplace. The bathroom so far from the rooms.
- Damian (10/5): It was a glorious location and home, thank you. - Excellent location, gorgeous cottage, thoughtful welcome pack and local sightseeing leaflets to help us plan days out.. just lovely. Cottage was lovely, if I had to find a fault some of the deep clean areas had been missed, ie under the bed but I didn't sleep under the bed, so no drama.
