Water and coffee free, all the time Good location, not in the center so it’s calm, but it’s only a short walk to get there (note that you have to walk up when you come back, might be difficult because the road is steep) Employees were hard to find sometimes and the ones that were there most of the time were the one responsible for the cleaning and they did not really speak English

• Leila (9/5): - Das Bajo Bunhouse war super sauber, die Betten waren bequem und die Klimaanlage sehr leise und gut. Es war sehr ruhig. Das WLan war auch top und wir hatten Vorhänge, ein Licht und eine eigene Steckdose beim Bett. Also alles super!

• Harrison (7/5): If on budget and don’t have anything expensive, good place - Plenty of showers and bathrooms, aircon was sufficient and with newish filters. Hostels still attempts to keep the mixed dormitory single sex in either room Soap for bathrooms heavily diluted, (worse I’ve seen from a hostel). No cold water available. Lockers are a thin piece of plywood anyone can open it. No locks at entrance or individual dorm rooms. Thus anyone can walk in

Kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: Die Seifen nicht so verdünnen, es war eher Wasser als Seife (auch wenn ich das an vielen Orten in Flores erlebt habe). Und wenn es noch 1-2 Tische mit bequemen Stühlen, um am Laptop arbeiten zu können, gäbe dann ist alles perfekt (:

• Yifang (10/5): Great hostel! Will visit again! - very friendly staff, public area is clean with lots of sofa bed to rest, washroom is bright and clean. They offer breakfast start from 7:00 with reasonable price. AC is cool and the room is comfortable. I stayed here for ten days and I really love this place. Shower water gets cold soon, I think there’s only one small heater’s water tank. Liquid soap is a bit watery lol. Stairs of the bunkbed has sharp corner, could be improved :)

• Rosemarie (9/5): Very satisfied, with one small drawback - I stayed here as a solo traveler and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The common areas, especially the lounge area in front of the dorms and the terrace, are great for meeting people. I loved the bean bags—you can easily move them around to sit together with other guests, who were very open and friendly. A big plus was the free mineral water and the possibility to make your own coffee and tea. The soap and shower gel provided were extremely diluted with water. In my opinion, they were so thin that they no longer had any cleaning effect. It felt like they were saving money in the wrong place. Next time, I would definitely bring my own soap.

• Sandra (8/5): Hostel impecable con personal encantador. Calidad/precio insuperable. - Personal muy atento y agradable. Instalaciones hiper limpias. Tienen una dormitorio sólo para 4 chicas. Ropa de cama nueva, impecable. Está al lado del mirador de Labuan Bajo. Por poner alguna pega... Literas con escaleras muy altas. Está cerca del mirador de Labuan Bajo y no en su calle principal (hay que subir una buena cuesta para llegar al hostel).
• Citron vert (10/5): Adresse incontournable - Cette guesthouse mérite franchement qu'on s'y arrête. Tout était parfait le personnel adorable l'ensemble de l'établissement très très propre et super fonctionnel la literie quand elle était hyper confortable et les chambres très très calme. Je vous recommande fortement cette adresse. Franchement rien du tout. tout était parfait. mon seul regret était d'avoir un avion dès le lendemain matin et de n'avoir pas pu rester plus longtemps.

The aircon would be preset at 24 degrees but during the day this was not enough and could not change it. Also the common space doesn’t have aircon and the only option to sit on a puff or a stool
• Maud (8/5): Très bonne auberge de passage - Lits confortables, sdb nettoyée tous les matins, fontaine à eau, serviette fournie, dispose d'un petit parking pour les scooters La fontaine à eau était vide à 7h et personne en vue pour demander à la remplir. Le savon est tellement dilué dans le distributeur que c'est difficile de se laver avec, dommage !!!

• Martina (10/5): Sono tornata a dormire qui 3 volte! - Le ragazze che si occupano dell'ostello sono gentilissime e puliscono continuamente. Era tutto sempre pulitissimo, compresi i bagni! Docce calde e pulite. Letti molto comodi, che vengono rifatti ogni giorno. Ottima posizione, in 2 minuti a piedi si arriva sulla strada principale.

• Altair (6/5): Good budget stay with just the essentials. - For the price, the location is quite decent. Semi-social hostel to meet others. The A/C in bedroom should be colder. There needs to be fans in the common area. That would make it SO much better! The beds are OK but not the comfiest. The hand soap and shower soap are watered down… Very cheap. The pictures make it look more clean and nice than it actually is. The property needs some TLC.

Siendo literas, se notaba mucho cuando la persona que dormía arriba se movía ya que hacía mucho ruido y se movía bastante la cama, pero bueno es algo frecuente en las literas. Lo que menos me gustó fue que por la mañana el personal entraba a la habitación cada vez que alguien de nosotras salía, para hacerle la cama, lo cual hizo difícil descansar por la mañana (ya que alomejor entraban 2-3 veces muy temprano por la mañana) y me dejó un poco de incomodidad al saber que entraban a la habitación sin avisar mientras dormía. Lo bueno es que se lo hice notar el primer día y la mañana siguiente esperaron a que todas saliéramos para hacer las camas.

• Claudia (9/5): Nice option in Labuan Bajo - It’s a nice hostel where the workers are very nice and helpful. The place is very clean, they’re the whole time on it. Also it’s a very good option for backpackers who want a good price-quality relationship and some accommodation near diving academies. People in the room can change the AC temperature so it’s freezing - my roommates put the temperature at 19 degrees, maybe would be better to put the same temperature in every room.

• Samantha (10/5): - I loved my stay at Bajo Bunkhouse! The girls were so sweet who took care of the property and it was always spotless. The rooms were clean, we had everything we needed, including lockers, lamps, and curtains for privacy. I felt very safe and would recommend to friends!
• Elena (8/5): Charmante Unterkunft mit nettem Personal - Die Unterkunft war sehr charmant und das Personal total freundlich. Hier wird regelmäßig alles sauber gemacht und es gibt kostenloses Wasser. Es gab eine Klimaanlage und kleine Lockers. Die Unterkunft ist nahe Hauptstraße gelegen. Es gibt einen tollen Balkon der zum verweilen einlädt :) Preis-Leistung ist unschlagbar! Es war sehr hellhörig und das Wifi hat nicht gut funktioniert. Das Zimmer ist sehr sehr klein, so dass kaum Platz für das Gepäck ist.

The only bad thing is that happened twice in a row that guest where leaving the room, to check out or just to get out for the day, and the girls where coming straight away to clean the room or making the beds, at 6:00 am, while we were still sleeping in the room! So we were waking up for that! I felt a little bit upset about and disrespectful!

• Potin (10/5): Comme à la maison ! - Dorothy et sa famille sont tellement adorables et accueillants!!!! J'ai dormi dans la chambre du bas avec le grand lit double et le ventilateur et j'avais l'impression de faire partie de la famille. La douche et WC à l'étage sont, décorés avec soin, propres et lumineux. Café, thé et eau à disposition. Laundry à 20000/ kg disponible. Situation en hauteur à côté du café Taka et pas très loin du point de vue sur le port. Très bon rapport qualité-prix. Je recommande chaudement. Les klaxons des scooters dans le virage où se trouve le logement mais cela s'arrête la nuit heureusement. Pas mal de moustiques.

• Atlanta (8/5): - Loved my stay! The hostel is lovely, its so clean, well laid out, good wifi and aircon, nice terrace, lockers. Family who run/own it are so friendly and helpful. Its just off the main street so feels a little quieter but still close to shops and food. Also offered laundry and Komodo day trip, and the water refill is great. Felt safe and secure. Most people are passing though so its not social/lively but didnt bother me.

• Cécile (1/5): - J’avais réservé un lit à mon arrivée sur Lambuan bajo quand je suis arrivée par bateau. Moins d’une heure plus tard je trouvais un départ pour une croisière. Je me déplace moins d’une heure après la réservation pour savoir si on peut décaler. Elle me dit oui et apparemment fait le changement directement sur son tph. Je m’excuse platement mais je reste inquiète car je ne reçois pas la notification sur booking comme quoi il y a eu une modification. Quand je rentre deux nuits plus tard, elle me dit qu’elle a oublié. Elle me donne 150k alors que la réservation était de 157k. Et moi je dois me trouver un lit pour le soir même ! J’ai dû payer plus cher ! Pas cool !

• Amélie (10/5): Très bon rapport qualité/prix, je recommande ! :) - Guesthouse très mignonne, tenue par une famille très agréable et toujours présente en cas de questions. Les espaces communs, la chambre et les douches sont propres, montrant une famille très investie dans la tenue de son établissement ! J’avais réservé un lit dans un dortoir de femmes. Cependant, lors de la dernière nuit de mon séjour, alors que je devais me retrouver seule dans la chambre, on m’a annoncé qu’un homme allait venir car il n’y avait plus de places ailleurs. Je pense que c’était un problème d’organisation, dommage.
