Guest Reviews
- Mathew (3/5): AVOID - Nothing, no t.v, smells, uncomfortable no t.v, smells, uncomfortable
- Madalena (1/5): - I have
nothing to say if I liked it. The person simply didn't respond to the messages I sent on the phone. So I think they were treated badly, I didn't like it.
- ANNETTE (1/5): BOROUGH STUDIOS DO NOT BOOK ITS A CON - Didn't end up staying due to it being double booked. I was given another address, which was
Flat 1, Unit 1
Observation court
84 Princess Street
IP1 1RY
Which I went too, but it was awful, and being on my own didn't feel safe. I phoned the host and explained it was nothing like Borough Studios, and I couldn't stay there. He didn't have anything else and agreed on a refund. Told me to phone booking.com, which I did, and they sent an email to him asking. But he has never emailed Booking.com back and won't reply to any of my messages. When I arrived at the alternative address
Flat 1, Unit 1

I had to go through an outside door into what all I can describe is a court yard it was awful the smell of the bins, the mess everywhere once I managed to get in to the unit then the flat, I just didn't feel safe
I had paid £54 for Borough Studios, which was totally different from the place I ended up at.
All I want it my money back
- Teresa (5/5): Passable -
- Bleona (1/5): Bad -
- John (3/5): Disappointing sleazy but necessary and too late to change - Offered. One bed flat nearby but parked nr original booking. Unable to cancel as money taken from account. Ended up in HMO damp leaking roof poorly maintained but flat was dry. Everything
- Daniel (5/5): Passable -
- Oleg (1/5): Bad - The apartment was werry dirty, floor was stiky, extractor on toilet and kitchen was not work. I'm toral disappoint with the stay. The puctures on booking.com is not real, the apartment is diferent 🙁🙁🙁
- Nyanjui (1/5): Bad - Nothing The smell 🤢, very horrible.
Horrible host
- Stefan (7/5): I am now already ready and willing for another visit next Year! - Room 2, Is barrier free reachable for Wheelchairs, A free Parkingplace is aviable in the Yard, the location is in the middle of Downtown.
2-5 minute walk to a lot of Discounters, Pedestrian Zone, Restaurents, Fish&Chips ect...
A good Washing Machine with dryer funktion is hidden in the Kitchen.
Water is ultra quick very hot if you want.
Well sized TV with Netflix in the Livingroom.
A Water E-Cattle, Toaster, Fridge/Freezer, Oven with 4 ceran heating places on top, and a Microwave, all Items has been very clean!
The Main Bus Staition is around the Corner, and surprisingly very quiet! I have used a queensized Air-Bed Matress instead of the marode "Sleeping-Couch" in the Living room. Mom got thde double Bed in the Sleeping room.
I bought also two Read/Nightlights for the Bed sidestand in the Sleeping Room.
The Toiletbowl is very low and in Square, maybe good for tiny Dwarfes, or Toddlers, but not compatible with an oval raised toilet Seat for Handycapt people like my Wheelchair riding Granny Mom ;-)
A new remote from Amazon for the TV would be also nice (Amazon UK 6-16 Pounds), I have used my old Galaxy Note Edge with an App as replacement. Some Idiot has stolen the Batts and the Lit, and the Cherry on the Top was the broken out Irda light inside of the TV-remote
A new Set of Cuttlery and Plates would be also nice.
And one Window needs some Maintenance.
Idea / Tip for the Owner: Maybe a sliding Door for the Bathroom, Barn Style, and also a swinging Shower Door would make Room #2 really 100% Handycapt barrier free ;-)
- Lyn (9/5): Ideal overnight stay in city centre. - Clean, comfortable, secure, good location. Nothing to dislike but access arrangements could have been clearer. Very easy once host was telephoned and self access process explained.
- Rodney (9/5): pleasant and quite - everything everything ok
- Simon (2/5): Very poor -
- Christopher. (10/5): Exceptional - Central to the city, place smart well kept. All was good 2
- Nigel (7/5): Good -
