• Alyson (8/5): Helpful host - The host was very responsive and easy to contact. The property is situated in a quiet cul de sac which is near the main road in Sheldon. The deposit was returned quickly after our stay. The location suited our weekend break. .

• John (1/5): Cash deposit of £200 requested on booking. They will NOT take a credit card for this. - It's location, close to Birmingham airport. I never stayed there as a deposit was requested I they did not have facility to take the deposit on a credit card. I was asked to deposit £200 in an account or have the money as cash. I wanted to do this via credit card as this would give me a level of legal recourse if there was any arguments later on. They did not have facility to do this. They did accept the booking payment by credit card but not the deposit. I tried reasoning with the person, to explain my position and that I was flying the next morning at 8AM and I needed a bed for the night, but this fell on deaf ears. I did not give the deposit, therefore I did not get the key code, therefore I did not stay at the property. I booked another hotel in Birmingham and sent in a letter of complaint.
