• April (9/5): Wouldn't hesitate to recommend - Great location. Middle of everything needed. Super clean and fresh feeling. Dustless. Timeless feel, that was still modern. A lovely note by owner to welcome us. And some chocolate treats in basket upon arrival. Unfortunately the beautiful espresso machine needed to descaling. Without descaling solution was unable to clean and use. Bedding looked beautiful. But the quilt felt soo heavy and we didn’t have a good sleep both nights.

• Sally (10/5): Gorgeous, cosy property in quiet but central location. - We had a lovely stay in this gorgeous property. Beautifully appointed with everything you could possibly need. In a quiet area and a short walk into town for coffee and breakfast. Highly recommend booking a stay!
• Cathy (10/5): Lovely well appointed cottage - Beautifully appointed historic cottage, we really loved the light and fresh interiors and lovely gas fire to keep us warm on the cool evenings. The bathroom was gorgeous and the heat lamps very welcome, comfy beds and sofa. The cottage is very central but in a super quiet street - all in all a fantastic stay. The inclusion of a dryer would have been very handy. We were travelling so needed to do some washing, and drying the clothes outside on the small collapsible clothesline took the best part of the whole day in the cooler weather.

The cottage was more spacious than expected with a great kitchen. Everything was spotless - including the dishes. Would happily stay again and recommend to others.

I made an error with our exit date and the owner sorted it with no problems. I will stay here again if it is available on my next visit and I will recommend to friends. All kitchen bits and pieces we could want were there so we could self-cater and BBQ for dinner. The location is great - walking distance to the main street and restaurants but back far enough to be quiet and peaceful. We will absolutely be back.

• Rachel (10/5): A delight to stay at the Luxury Cottage. Ticked every box for fussy travellers. LOVED IT! - The entire cottage was very high end. From immaculate design features, Country Road Linen, Wheel and Barrow Crockery. Just a delight to stay in over the weekend. It was central to the town, just so convenient and a pleasure to come back to after our day activities. I didn't stay long enough.

Main instruction on how to use the heater was also provided. The house is very comfortable and beautiful, we could find everything we needed in the kitchen, in the bedrooms and bathroom. The towels could be more soft.

Access to house for elderly not so good,x3 steps down from road with no rail- this was our only negative but wouldn’t be a problem for most people.

• Zoe (10/5): A beautiful home away from home. - Perfect location, only a few minutes away from everything. House was amazing, such a warm welcoming feel to it. Felt like home, my 3 yr old son didn't want to leave. Modern style, very clean and with everything you need for your stay. Will definitely be back for another getaway.
