- Sonawdekar (9/5): You will leave feeling refreshed and grateful for the genuine hospitality and surrounding. - Serene Boulders in Hampi is an absolutely lovely place. The vibes are truly amazing, it’s peaceful and provides a wonderfully tranquil escape. The owner and the staff, people around were very sweet, and the overall feeling of the stay is highly recommendable—a fantastic sanctuary for solo traveler's as well as groups. Nothing as such to say that i did not like. If they elevate the menu to match the incredible atmosphere and hospitality, Serene Boulders would be flawless.

- Harshwardan (10/5): - I had a good time in serene boulders whole day I spent my time next to river and night vibe was good in restrunt though I stayed in tent I looked inside rooms they r spaciousand clean and food is yummy ....
- Akshaya (4/5): - Surroundings was good but tent place wasn't thta good and washroom was far
- Guest (10/5): Wonderful stay surrounded by nature, with friendly and helpful staff. - The location was really good. I would definitely recommend it to everyone. It’s the best place amidst nature. Honestly, nothing to dislike.
- Guest (10/5): A peaceful day filled with warm hospitality, delicious food, and the calming embrace of nature. - From the moment we arrived at the cottage, we felt like we were at home. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable — they were genuinely warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The food was absolutely delicious, homemade with love, and every meal felt like it came straight from a family kitchen.
The rooms were clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, offering the perfect blend of comfort and rustic charm. Waking up to the sounds of birds and fresh air was such a refreshing change — being so close to nature truly made the experience peaceful and rejuvenating.
It’s the kind of place where you can really slow down, relax, and feel cared for. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a homely stay with the beauty of nature all around. Nothing

- Siddharth (1/5): Won't be booking again. - The location is good and so are the rooms from a comfort point of view. The bathroom was not clean and there was a smell. The parking is a mess. Guests park any which way without any thought to blocking others in. Inspite of telling the staff to watch out and ensure my car doesn't get blocked in, I got blocked in. I was supposed to leave very early and because I was blocked in I suffered a 3 hour delay.
- Vinayak Ramchandra (4/5): - Dinner was good. No basic amenities, the bathroom is not good. Hot water is solar power so water was not sufficiently hot, Power was off during night and early morning and the generator was not on. As per cost not worth staying.
- Jessica (10/5): We really enjoyed our stay. It’s a nice location and the bamboo huts stay nice and cool. We had a nice view from the bal - Great location with lovely views of rocks, pffy fields and rocks
- Harshit (7/5): Good - Only the surrounding nature is good. They do not have basics facility like they will not provide extra towel and other things. Even we came very late for check in around 10 at night and we ask them to just provide coffee or tea as compliment as we would leave early in morning but they refused.
- Hemanth (8/5): Very good -
- Praveen (7/5): Good - The staff and location was good and the tent was cost effective The common washroom was managible but it can be more clean
- Dominic (9/5): Superb - The place is absolutely magical with the best of hampi from the river to the boulder view
Food is excellent with continental menu and Indian
Great ambience There was no AC i bilieve that can be catered too
- Cat (7/5): Good stay overall but not as serene as we'd hoped for! - We booked here for 2 nights but ended up extending to 10 days. The location is beautiful! We loved opening the door in the morning to the view of the paddy fields and boulders. It is also right beside the river which was beautiful at sunset. Lots of monkey families, and the sweetest dogs live here, Lily and Oreo.
We want to say a HUGE thank you to Ali, who was working there for just a few weeks, but always went above and beyond to make sure we were well looked after. He even lent us his helmet for the duration of our stay. You can tell Ali has a big heart, and was the reason we decided to extend our stay! Thanks Ali 😁
Just to note that there is music played all day every day, which can take away from the 'serene' side of the stay. There was also a big group of young Israelis staying there, who tended to take over most of the cafe area and play their own music (loudly), with little regard for other guests. It felt like staff were letting them have the run of the place, sometimes at the expense of other travellers, for example, noise/music going on late into the night when others were trying to sleep. I'm not sure if this is a regular occurrence at this guesthouse, but it made it feel more like a party hostel, and unfortunately tainted our experience here.
Apart from that, the beds were comfy, the huts were spacious, the food was really good, and loved that they offered a whole array of coffees! Definitely try the Vietnamese coffee if you come here. We were also able to rent a scooter from them which was very handy. (You will definitely need a way to get around as Hampi is quite spread out.)
Overall, it was a great stay for the first few days, but unfortunately the behaviour of the other guests did have negatively impact on our experience.

- Suraj (5/5): It’s good for a 2 day trip no longer than that ! - It’s green beautiful location in a rice field :) rooms were clean and very eco-friendly The staff was very lazy. They called me twice asking when I’m serving and even after telling them the exact time
They did not prepare our room
No towels & toiletry was given (I had to ask for it)
No information about hot water

- Samantha (7/5): Lovely location and huts, a little noisy - Lovely location and helpful, friendly staff. Great restaurant/chill out area. Clean and spacious. No hot water. WiFi doesn’t stretch to the rooms. Electricity is turned off at nighttime so the fan doesn’t work. Other guests and dogs are super noisy, especially early in the morning. Price was a bit high.
- Nilesh (8/5): Very good -
- Srinivas (1/5): Bad - Owner is not friendly with us. We checked in at 9 PM and tired and he asked to vacate just because we shared our room price with the people who already checked in there.

- Ellen (10/5): Thanks guys for a wonderful stay - I loved my stay here - the staff are amazing and so welcoming. They really looked after me, making sure I had everything I needed and on hand for any advice about the area. I also ate such delicious food here!
- Ashwin (1/5): Bad - Nothing Even after booking confirmation, the property called and asked to cancel...when not cancelled...they put the reason as no show and cancelled from there ..which could result in the fee to the customer..this is unprofessional behaviour.
- Nazeeb (9/5): Love it!!! Will visit again. - Location is perfect to stay away from city hustles and bustles. All Pros comes with come Cons.
Insects and mosquitoes are the only downside.
- Emma (10/5): Amazing little gem - Serene Boulder is in an amazing location in the middle of the rice fields and next to the river. A short walk from Sanapur village and near Hampi. The rooms are very nice and clean, the bed was really comfortable, it was the place where I slept better in India so far.
The restaurant is amazing, very good breakfast options and coffee and great dinner. The best was the fresh fish just caught from the river.
It’s a little heaven that will make it hard to leave and will make you want to stay here as long as you can.
Special thanks to Ravi and Mahee and the whole stuff, you made me feel like home. Nothing

Location is close to the riverside. At the time of checkout they increase the room tariff and ask for more money.
Also check the food bills properly at the time of checkout some time they add extra prices for the items.
