Guest Reviews
- Botha (10/5): -
- Dubber (10/5): Cozy - Everyrhing
- Van Vreden (9/5): Best stay for the money! - Best little cottage and so much space for our family. Best value for money and really easy accessible. Will definitely be back for another stay. Close to the main road but wasn’t a issue with noise etcetera.
- Robyn (8/5): -
- Tarryn (9/5): Absolutely loved our stay ! - There were little extras such as baked muffins in the fridge as well as milk. Not a complaint, just an observation or suggestion but more tea towels would be nice.
- Kelly (10/5): Lovely homely stay - Cute little spot, perfect for 2. A very helpful and kind host, who helped with any issue at any time, to make us as comfortable as possible. Even made us some fresh muffins waiting for us upon arrival :)
- Tayla (8/5): Lovely hospitable stay with thoughtful touches. A home away from home. - Very comfortable and spacious Could have flat sheets, extra towels and few more hangers.
- Richard (10/5): The house was spacious neat and clean.Shower was really good. - Close to the old main road but very little traffic in the evening so it didn’t bother us at all All good
- Belinda (10/5): Great stay - Great spot, safe, clean and comfortable. Position, security, value.
- Becker (10/5): -
- Jill Bell (10/5): Much much more than I expected - comfort in every way - The day before we arrived, Cape Chameleon sent us clear instructions on where to go (a Google Maps link), how to access the property, a list of places in the Midlands Meander, as well as a weather report. We stayed in the 3-bedroom cottage, and it was beautiful, very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Milk, tea, coffee and sugar were also supplied. The gardens are beautifully kept, and it was very peaceful. The property is in Rosetta, making it an easy 6-minute drive to Nottingham Road. Every day we received a WhatsApp with restaurants in the area that were offering specials, which added to the feeling of being looked after. I would definitely stay here again!!!!! Thank you, Cape Chameleon nothing to complain about

- Fourie (10/5): - Big garden, beautiful house

- Peter (9/5): Lovely place for a sort stop over or holiday. Close to Nottingham Road which is very convenient. - Hosts were very accommodating, when we thought we had an issue with the inverter, it was no problem for them to come out and sort out. We did managed to resolve it quickly before they arrived so they did not need to come out, but there was no issue in them being happy to come out and attend to it in the first place. So, thank you. Received a message after we had left to please make sure dishes are washed, which we could not do as we had left. However, I feel that guests should not be asked to wash the dishes before they leave, it could be a bit of a dampener on the holiday experience.
- Appana Soma (9/5): Very happy with the cleanliness and comfort. The kitchen was well equipped. - The rooms were very spacious and clean. Accessing the property was well informed by using video share on Whats App. None.
- Eurakha (7/5): The stay was pleasant, relaxing, and comfortable, creating an enabling environment for quality family time. - We had a great 4-night stay at this Midlands cottage. The space was comfortable, spacious, and clean, making it easy to relax and feel at home. The peaceful surroundings added to the overall experience, and the cottage was well laid out and thoughtfully maintained. A lovely place for a restful getaway. A few aspects could be improved. The cottage did not have air conditioning, which made it uncomfortable at times, even though fans were provided. There there was only one shower, which was challenging for a group.A mid-stay cleaning service, especially after the third day, would have been appreciated. While there was a broom, mop, and dustpan available, there were no cleaning detergents or proper equipment provided, making it difficult to maintain cleanliness during a longer stay.
Overall, it is a lovely property with great potential, and with a few added amenities, it would be an even more comfortable.
