Guest Reviews
- scott (8/5): - easy to find and was quite for a park site.
and it was close to everywhere we wanted to visit it could do with a new mattress on the double bed or at least a mattres topper there a couple of holes under the carpet one by bedroom door to balcony which felt quite unsafe under foot and one on top of landing area and only one saucepan was useable aswell when cooking .
other than these bits we had a pleasent stay and found it very quite many thanks
- Rebecca (7/5): Pleasant stay comfortable surroundings but unfortunately a lot of driving required due to location. - Very clean and tidy well kept The location isn’t great and not all facilities on the site were open
- Becca (10/5): - It was perfect for a couple days get away it had everything we needed
- Matthew (6/5): OK for short stay - Could do with needed upgrades. - Location was good away from hustle & bustle of Newquay (6miles away).
Close to the motorway for easy access for exploring.
Would stay again as a better alternative to a static caravan. Accommodation requires upgrading.
Bathroom is on the small size.
TV & remote was hit and miss if they worked.
On-site facilities limited - £20per adult & £10per child swim in the pool was excessive.
- cheryl (10/5): - Everything was so lovely had Everything you needed for your stay.
- Michael (10/5): A home from home - This was our second time staying here we can not fault Atlantic lodge it is like a home from home we will definitely be booking to come here again Nothing
- Michael (10/5): Absolutely perfect would definitely stay again - Was like a home from home! Had everything we could possibly wanted for our stay. Nothing
- Aneeta Annie (8/5): -
- Dean (10/5): Exceptional stay - Host was fabulous, nothing was to much trouble, a gem of a place the location was perfect and very peaceful just what i wanted as i was on nights the whole place was very spacious and clean, it had everything you needed and will definitely stay there again in the future.
- Kim (10/5): - The house was perfect for what we needed, cozy, comfy, everything we needed. Nothing!
- Kay (8/5): -
- Jennifer (10/5): - The accommodation was very nice , clean, comfortable and everything needed. When we got there we could not find the place we were staying. Went to reception and that was a disgrace not helpful at all. The words were best of luck finding it.And also when we booked it the pictures shown were not the same as the accommodation we had. Don't get me wrong the accommodation we had was great, but you should sort out the pictures that we were shown.
Thus is the first time we had any problems when booking through booking.com.
- Barbara (10/5): - Il contesto Lo stato in cui si trovava la casa,in ordine,ma poco pulita
- Róża (5/5): -
- Rahul (7/5): Lovely small cottage with parking and 10 min from central Newquay - Lovely small cottage for 4 people. Parking is close by and the property gives a home away from home feeling.
Living room is clean and cozy with free WiFi supplied. Kitchen was clean and maintained with cooker, fridge kettle and coffee for the few days. Great for cooking but would bring your own pans if you prefer.
Lovely view from both bedrooms as they had balconies.
Overall a very pleasant stay at this cottage. Bathroom was actually a good size but the shower unit was far too small. They could benefit from putting in a modern and slightly larger shower.
Floorboards/ general property has aged a little and could do with being re done in some places
- David (6/5): Just ok .. - Damp smell ( coming from cupboard near sink )….
- Gareth (5/5): -
- Lisa (8/5): Loved Cornwall, where we were situated was a small drive from the sea, many different places to explore, definitely go a - Where we were situated was very quiet, lovely big windows from floor to ceiling, the property was clean. The shower cubicle was quite small, someone that was of a larger build would of struggled
- Kevin (8/5): Very good -
- Stephen (8/5): Very good - Great location for A30 and Newquay beaches etc Sofa bit past its best, and reception and size of television not very good.
- Carol (1/5): Avoid at all costs. Absolutely appalling quality. - Nothing. Absolute disgrace. Everything! Never before have I stayed somewhere so ‘filthy’ in my life. Before we could even unpack, I had to start cleaning the property. The handrail had so much dirt on it I had to scrub it. The walls are full dirt, not just scuffs. A drawer was broken in the wardrobe and just left on the floor making my husband fall over it. The frill on the double bed sheets had stains on and the light pull in the bathroom was filthy and totally unhygienic and the riser on the shower is broken meaning you have to hold it. One of the string chairs was broken and unusable and spiders were hanging from the light in the dining area. I honestly can’t believe this accommodation hasn’t been struck off by booking.com, it’s a disgrace. How the owners can think that letting property like this is acceptable is extremely disappointing. I certainly will never return and would definitely not recommend.
- Marina (10/5): Good - Location was good
- Mike (8/5): Very good -
- Graham (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (8/5): Very good - Great location for nearby seaside towns. Quiet and relaxing place
- Ross (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was warm and very comfortable Nothing
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tatiana (9/5): Great property - Very nice property, spacious and hosts are very responsive. It could highlight more about the fact that there aren’t towels provided and perhaps have a little more information about the surrounding area, places to go. The Internet wasn’t great or worked for a few days, however the host was very kind and helpful.
- Stephanie (8/5): Great location and easy access to the beach - Great location was close to newquay and Padstow
Easy to find
Great for kids
- Julian (7/5): Great location for Cornwall and South Devon - Easy to find. No issue parking. Accommodation was warm. Kitchen fully functional. OK location as a base for Newquay, Porth and other nearby towns Needs a thorough overhaul and clean....lots of dust behind sofa and Under beds, TV doesn't get BBC channels, wifi is intermittent at best.
- Magdalena (10/5): Exceptional - Good location easy to find. Homely feeling. We had a very great time
- Abdul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Trevor (8/5): Very enjoyable - Self catering Sofa a little hard
- Julie (2/5): Terrible no shop for newspaper - Nothing Banging pipes no hot water bathroom floor very slippery. Bed uncomfortable also next door pipes banging constantly effecting our lodge.
- Stephen (8/5): Very good -
- Holly (6/5): Atlantic Reach 15 - It was spacious, close to amenities and great communication from owner Accomodation is a little dated, but reflective of what was paid.
Parking isn't next to accomodation, unloading proves difficult when travelling with children.
- Angelina (3/5): A little effort goes a long way - It wasn't far from the beach. 6 minute drive. The was a few holes in the curtains. Stains on ceiling and bannister. Although you are staying on the keisure Park, you are not able to use leisure activities as the inners have affiliated with the vomoany so it us blocked. What us the point if going to a keisure oark if you can't use facilities even at a extra price. The WiFi stopped working the kast night and couldn't get any reception to call. The TV had bad signal and does not take a firestick from home so very limiting. There were no chairs or garden table to sit out the back on the patio. Says there's a washing machine....couldn't find one.
- Helen (10/5): Had a lovely time with our family, great stay… - Peaceful ambience Expected a smart tv but otherwise all good.
- Aimee (6/5): Outdated site. No return on the cards. - The accommodation was clean and good communication on details for your stay via message prior. The double bed was really comfortable and had a good nights sleep. The decor is very dated, could do with an upgrade. The house looks very run down from the outside, but so does the whole site, not just the one we stayed in. The front windows and door were leaking water into the accommodation when it was raining. The hot tap wouldn't turn on, realised you had to put the cold tap on, then the hot tap, then turn off the cold to make it work. The shower was very small, we could just about turn around in the shower. The site was run down, but it is out of season, so hopefully they get it ready for the summer guests arriving. The price was correct for the standard. Wouldn't stay on this site again though.
- Lisa (8/5): Very good -
- Ray (9/5): Good value for money - Good location ,broadband a excellent touch ,good heating Small tv ,no washing machine ,
Shower not powerful
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, very clean and homely. We went out of season so alot of things were shut on site.
- Ruby (9/5): Superb -
- Timothy (5/5): Served the purpose we travelled for. -
- Anonymous (9/5): We were just a short drive to Newquay, perfect for the things we wanted to do. - It was great to have such a well equipped kitchen, there was even an airer for drying our clothing after kayaking. Perfect.
- Penny (7/5): Good - Clean and comfortable Large camp site, ok for this trip but not my favorite
- Melanie (9/5): Comfortable and good value for money. - Good communication from the host.
Property was clean and comfortable and the park was lovely and quiet as we were out of season. The single beds were a bit soft and wobbly but presume mostly used for kids.
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and comfortable every thing you could possibly need 🤗wifi was a bonus 👍🏻 Disappointed The tv wasn’t working properly.. could only access BBC channels
- Ollie (10/5): Great property, great stay. - Lovely clean and comfortable home from home. Perfect for trips to Newquay and Padstow. Weather was phenomenal, so we were blessed with a couple of days of heaven. Good communication with the property from the start. trip was amazing, property is ideal. TV remote didn't work ...but we really were not that bothered
- Becky (7/5): Great location for lots of beaches and good value. - Great location on a fun for all the family site. Upstairs was cold and the beds needed clean sheets.
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, and facilities Nothing to dislike
- Satish (10/5): Exceptional - Spacious accommodation with everything needed for a self catered stay.
- Mandy (1/5): Awful! - Booking.com had not sent the park a booking form. The lodge had not been cleaned properly, the lodge is old, tired, there was a cigarette burn on the curtain, and one of the curtains was ripped. It smelt of dog, the pullout bed was extremely uncomfortable. There was no linen available for the pullout bed, and the pillows were as flat as pancakes. There was no signal for the tv, the back of the remote was missing, batteries held In by sellotape. One of the single beds creaked every time the child moved. It all needs a complete refurb to bring it up to standard.
- Martyna (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the fact it was quiet there especially at night time. Does are welcomed at no extra cost which was a huge bonus. For a 2 bedroom lodge there was more than enough space as well. We loved it! I don't think there was anything we disliked. The water pressure was a bit low but that's not an issue at all
- Done (7/5): Good -
- Dominika (9/5): Lovely place for whole family. Highly recommend! - It's a very nice, spacious place. Kitchen is well equipped. We had everything what we needed. It was cosy, comfortable. We liked access to the garden and enjoyed surroundings. There is a playground very close to the villa open for all. The whole place was quite and well maintained. Localisation is great, many beaches and other activities (both outdoor and indoor) in 15 minutes drive. Key is in the safe so easy, fuss free access to the property. Owner is helpful and replies to messages promptly. Definitely more photos could be advantage as this place was way better than we expected. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the place Unfortunately there were plenty of black ants coming from garden to the kitchen and living room. Not the best with food and made us vacuum/clean several times during the stay. Definitely something what needs to be taken care of.
The place was clean but not sparkly clean so if you are into details it might not meet your expectations.
- Lee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vishal (7/5): Good -
- Karolina (8/5): Very good - Very satisfied. Highly recommended. Matttes are very noisy and not much comfortable.
