Guest Reviews
- Natalie (8/5): We throughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it to others. - The location was fantastic and the property was very clean and modern, it had all the basics. The shower was lovey. It was a little dark inside but the main lights were really bright - feel like it would benefit from some softer lighting in the front room like lamps. Whilst it was all lovely you could tell it was purely a rental not a home that’s rented out - just lacked that home from home feel. But can’t really fault it for that.
- Jane (10/5): Wonderful cottage in St Ives - The location was excellent for both parking and ease of access into town. The property was of a very high standard. The welcome pack was a lovely gift after a long journey.
- Alessandro (8/5): - Location and nice apartment. Too small, tiny bed.
- Michael (8/5): a beautiful place in a beautiful place - nice place noise from the people upstairs a lie in was impossible as did the builders starting work at 8am
- Paul (6/5): Ok.enjoyed st ives as always but slightly disappointed with the accom - Location was ideal and very clean Building work directly outside. Bedroom was very dark and hot and there was no water this morning (switched off outside property apparently) so as we were up and out this morning we couldn’t have a cup of tea or proper showers which wasn’t ideal as we we had a long journey home. Some guy from up the road was switching it back on at the water valve outside our door just as we were leaving ??
- Tracey (8/5): Fantastic stay loved the bad of goodies really did help out had every thing we needed. - The property was in a great location and lots of walks for my dog Just a bit on the small side but was not in much so did not really matter.
- Kevin (5/5): Passable - Really nice setting, good equipment and TV. The welcome pack was very good and a nice surprise. The noise upstairs was horrendous and I feel the ceiling was made of paper. We also didn't appreciate the 3am bedtime upstairs as well, really inconsiderate of people who were laughing, joking and we could hear their footsteps.
- Tony (9/5): Little Burrows, St. Ives - Great accommodation and beautifully furnished. Great location, within 100 metres from sandy Porthgwidden Beach with clear sea. Plenty of places to walk your dog. Convenient and easily accessible to local bars, restaurants, and shops, especially with poor mobility. Sink in bathroom too small, making it difficult to wash and shave.
- Beverly (10/5): Small apartment but absolutely perfect for us - No Breakfast
- Coilin (8/5): Very good - Tidy little apartment in a fantastic location. Because of that, the price was very reasonable (in comparison to others).
The welcome pack that was provided was a great added touch - a lovely selection of local goodies.
All in all, it was as much as we needed to enjoy our stay. Given the weather was lovely & warm, the small apartment was in turn very warm - uncomfortable levels at night, so difficult to get a good sleep. Some air con would have been a very welcome addition.
The only other facility that could be added, for a bit of extra convenience, was a washing machine. Would allow guests to travel a little lighter - but obviously not the end of the world without one.
- Mark (9/5): Brilliant stay, and will hopefully be looking to rebook in the future - Facilities and location were perfect for are type of holiday.. Rubbish / waste collection..
External bin was full when we arrived, on the Friday and was not emptied until the following Thursday, after ringing the office on 3 occasions
- Leah (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment itself was well equipped and comfortable, it was a Quality living environment in perfect location to beaches art galleries, cafes and local shops. The convenience of location meant we could do a quick wardrobe change/ shower from beach to shops or restaurants and make whimful decisions to take in the sunset over the beach after dinner and a movie. There is no off road parking anywhere, Parking for two weeks was expensive and couldn't guarantee a space so we had to park in the rugby carpark, on the outskirts, and bus it or negotiate a long steep hill daily (which was stressful especially for an early morning start or at night after a full day's sight seeing). I feel this should be reflected in the price of the property or the property should have a reserved space for its guests at the nearest car park.
- Janet (10/5): Absolutely Delightful. - The easy access, no stairs, lovey decor, fluffy towels & with easy
reach of eateries, shops & beaches.
Would recommend this accommodation for any age group. No microwave for heating up pasties.😂
