Guest Reviews

- Louise (10/5): Like a home away from home 10/10 , Ramsay was super helpful in all our needs , and available to help anytime. Will - Everything we needed right here perfect location perfect size and hosts thought of all necessities Nothing
- Rhoda (10/5): - What a beautiful surprise when entering the apartment. It was such a beautiful apartment with great facilities. Lovely and clean and very comfortable.
Thank you Ramsay for such a lovely stay. Lo Nothing
- martin (4/5): - Flat needs some TLC to be honest , looks nice enough in pictures , but came across the following issues
- Struggled to close Front windows and also window handles / catches missing
- Toilet roll holder hanging off the wall
- Shower hose was spewing water out / leaking
- Kettle was mouldy inside
- no lighing in close / stairs until you reach top floor
- Flooring in bedroom needs some attention
- Maria (1/5): The property was dirty, dusty, and completely uninhabitable. - Nothing, terrible The property was dirty, dusty, and completely uninhabitable. The ad mentions two double bedrooms, but there's only one. The entrance hall is dirty and smelly. Communication with them is terrible. We lost a week of our stay because we couldn't stay there, and they won't respond to refund the security deposit. Don't fall for this scam; the hassle isn't worth it!

- Kyeremaah (9/5): Lovely place to stay - Environment was clean and quiet. Loved the extra bed. Kitchen was great. My family had more juice to drink as well. They loved the setting of the home. My family accidentally brought the key to me when checking out but I was been spoken to calmly till we returned keys. Thanks so much
- Amy (10/5): A one night trip away with a friend and kids. Great location for local shopping and beach front. Clean, modern and excel - Great location and very modern N/A
- Monaf (5/5): Better places to stay in Aberdeen for the same money - The kitchen and bathroom have been renovated to a high standard and looks very modern although some still issues I'll detail below, comfy leather sofa in living room, double bed was comfortable, plenty towels, decent shower KITCHEN - Oven was thick with dried on grease and food remnants, microwave had food splatters all over, kitchen cutlery/utensils were dirty and some had dried on food - spent the first few hours there cleaning and washing dishes prior to using them
LIVING ROOM - Window latch was snapped off and was lying on the window sill when I arrived, due to this the the window could not be closed on one side hence let the cold in as well as a lot of noise coming from the busy road. Also a bad smell in the living room weather this is from outside due to the window issues I don't know, others have also mentioned the smell in other reviews.
BATHROOM - Toilet roll holder hanging off the wall, dirty toe nail scissors left in the drawers
DOUBLE BEDROOM - Comfortable bed and bedding however tired looking wardrobe
Laminate floor throughout the property is coming away cracked/broken, when you walk across it you can feel it sinking, my toe got caught in one of the panels, the floors are very uneven, the passage is quite bad and the host have just covered this with a rug rather than fix the issue.
HALLWAY/STAIRCASE - Very dark on arrival, no lighting, carrying bags up to the 2nd floor up in the dark was a challenge, rang the host to ask here the lights were but no reply, rang the 2 numbers on the booking confirmation no answer, host finally replied 22 hours later, it turned out there is a switch in the property to turn the lights on, for the 2nd floor only, the rest of the staircase is pitch black
HOST - Messaged after check-in time to pay a damage deposit that I wasn't aware of, although they give 2 phone numbers to call if you have issues they very hard to get in touch with, to the point after I pointed out the issues they didn't reply to any calls or messages.
They even marked me down with Booking.com as a no show and cancelled my booking mid stay, I had to contact booking.
- Lynn (8/5): Very good - Nice and central group of 3 adults stayed perfect for our needs
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Strain (8/5): Very good -
- Mckenzie (4/5): Disappointing - was nice didn’t really tell us the check out time and expected us to remember it from the app when it was booked months prior then proceeded to charge us for it
- Kerri (7/5): Modern and contemporary flat. - Refurbished modern and contemporary flat which is nicely decorated.
Nice touch of some breakfast items supplied, although not used.
Really nice bathroom.
Lots of towels supplied.
Modern clean kitchen with some kitchenware and cleaning products supplied.
Microwave, fridge and oven spotless.
Warm living room/kitchen areas.
Corner shop a few doors away. £200 damages fee not made clear when booking. Stay paid for in advance. Only advised of the refundable £200 damages fee on day of arrival. Therefore, very aware of some of the minor defects we noted in decor/furnishings.
Musty smell on arrival and very dated hall/stairs, although accommodation is in an old building so maybe to be expected.
Floors felt soft/sloped in areas. Only really an issue due to one of the guests having a sensory impairment.
May not be suitable for guests with mobility issues due to stairs.
Bedrooms were cold.
There is no dedicated parking. Can park in front of building for a restricted length of time (6pm-8am). parking on side streets is difficult due to the volume of cars. There is a small paid for car park at bottom of road. Again with restricted times.
Unpleasant smell coming from other flats is an issue.
The flat itself is very nice, it was clean and somewhat comfortable and can see that some effort has gone into presentation and decor and will be a good base for exploring Aberdeen.
Unfortunately the external factors, in particular the smell mean it would be unlikely that we would book this accommodation again.

- Adrian (5/5): disturbed, somewhat relaxed - great space , very modern , good location. didn’t get to relax due to leak in property. neighbour came into property forcing me out of bath, constantly had to keep on top of repair, via text messages to host. was nice property but didn’t get time alone, and especially for price paid , didn’t feel worth it.
- Clark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adrian (10/5): Exceptional - Great apartment, great location for our purpose of the journey. Some damaged stuff that need a bit fixed as well as the stair doesn’t do justice for the apartment.
- Ranalo (9/5): Superb -
- Smith (8/5): Very good - The apartment was nice and clean
Just right amount of space for what we needed. Nothing that affected the weekend apart from a strong smell coming up from the flats below.
- Nenad (7/5): I wouldn't stay again - The location is good not far from the city center. The building is old. The apartment was not cleaned up properly. There was dust on the furniture and on louvers. The beds are not comfortable. They are too small and the mattress is not comfortable. We didn't sleep well. Honestly, I wouldn't stay again.
- Isaac (9/5): Superb -
- Jillian (10/5): Modern clean apartment , Perfect for weekend stay. - Ultra modern apartment with comfy bed and good facilities. Liked everything
