Prasan Chand (9/5): stay was good, but restaurant breakfast service on 5th october morning was very bad, - Breakfast was good , but the service was not good . we ordered for dosa , it dindnt come for 30 minutes , we left without eating dosa. their satff at break fast are not trained properly , frequently removing the plates from the table , may be there is shortage of plates .

Spa experience was very nice. Very much enjoyed our stay. This hotel needs to keep working on the F&B offer and continue striving for excellence. Drinks especially were very expensive and double the price of Faremont Hotel next door

Greta (7/5): Disappointing and expensive. - Lovely architecture. Room large. Good fluffy towels and robes. Value for money. Unfortunately it did not meet our expectations. The management need to consider how they want to run this hotel. It tried to be exclusive but isn’t. The Butler service (room service anywhere else) took over 45 minutes to deliver cold milk to the room. The hotel was not busy and there were too many staff all “jumping “ on an opportunity. So, you could not have a private relaxing meal. The room was clean expertly but turndown service was invasive. They seemed to have a set time that they wanted and it felt like we need to vacate the room! Excellent service should be discreet if this is what Raffles wants to aspire to. The rooftop pool was murky - saw people eating in it- and didn’t see any pool boy cleaning. We had a welcome drink poolside and my glass had lipstick on it.☹️ Finally, it’s sister hotel, Fairmont, holds lots of events so each night there was very loud music and fireworks going on until early hours. It costs a lot of money to stay here and compared to other 5 star resorts we have stayed in India, this is mediocre.

Faris (10/5): Amazing stay would really recommend. - Amazing hotel with the best rooms ive stayed in! The balcony soaking tub is incredible. The staff are wonderful and facilities are great. Restaurants are amazing too, especially writer's bar. Little but far from the centre but not that far. I would also prefer if they had more non-alcoholic beverage options in the restaurants.

Jessie-triet (10/5): Exceptional - Breakfast was amazing! I’m dying over the Queen blend masala tea! Above all, I had to give it to the staffs who were so attentive, sweet and very helpful. My driver got to the wrong location, so he didn’t pick me up for the airport at 5am. One of the staff woke up and drove me to the airport! I could not be happier during my stay and really want to come back. I’m in my next destination now, and I still dream about this hotel. I can’t wait to try out their location in Singapore. Everything was so perfect!

Ingrid (6/5): Not the level of Raffles/5 star hotel - The decoration inside: the bedroom and lobby are beautiful yet it lacks natural light, especially in the atrium. The rooftop bar & restaurants are nice but was too cold to enjoy unfortunately. Definitely not at the level for a Raffles hotel. The staff is trying their best but they drastically lack training: the communication is not smooth, the service is messy and not proactive, which is expected for this level of hotel name & price. The Xmas dinner was particularly catastrophic: no explanation on the menu and very messy service: we received twice the same dish while we never received the main. No Champagne glass available… not acceptable for a 5 star hotel especially on Xmas evening! The quality of local food on usual days was good but for Xmas the western food was terrible: raw fish not fresh. Most ridiculous is when I asked where was the lobster mentioned on the menu and waitress showed me a shrimp… We were also annoyed by very loud noises both evenings after 10pm and in the morning, someone moving heavy furniture. It’s a pity to pay that much for an experience we could have found in a hotel half the price…

Jain (10/5): Exceptional - I love the brand first of all.the staff is amazing . Right from the airport to everything was excellent. Butler Ms Geeta was excellent. Mr Sagar who does excellent service and makes sure guests enjoy breakfast and he ensures that you try all dishes which are there on the menu. Ms Sushma who is always on its toes to ensure guests are not going through any difficulty and also any problem in service. And even GM Mr Binny is round the clock and makes sure the guest stay is smooth and great. It's simply a wow feeling. There is nothing that you can't like in Raffels.
