Guest Reviews
- Abigail (10/5): We had an amazing stay at Wishbone house. Thank you for allowing us to create more memories with our children and family - A lovely house with everything available that you need!
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Like been home from home. Everything in house you would ever need.
- Andrews (10/5): Our family easter - The house was very good for our family stay over Easter a proper home from home with everything and more that you need we will hopefully be back next easter The garden is a very good size and good for the children to run about in.
The beds were sòoooooo comfortable we all enjoyed our sleep.
The house is spotless and a very good size for a family stay
- Charlene (10/5): Fantastic and booked again for next year. - Very clean lots of space. Beds very comfortable. Brilliant communication. Having space for 2 cars was great. Couldn’t complain about anything. We had a great stay! Absolutely nothing it was perfect
- Emma (10/5): Nice seaside home for a family, full of toys and treats and close to all amenities. - It was close to everything, roomy, nice little welcome pack, free WiFi.
Clean, tidy and good communication from the host. Not the hosts fault but the Driveway is quite narrow and the house next door had scaffolding taken down during our stay. We didn’t use our car at all as everything is close by but on leaving the property found that my wing mirror was folded in, which I hadn’t done, on closer inspection it appears that the wing mirror casing had been hit and was cracked. As it wasn’t there before our stay we can only surmise that the scaffolders whacked the wing mirror with a ladder or the like. Gutted, took the shine off a near perfect stay.
- john (10/5): - A real home from home Nothing
- Chris (10/5): A lovely home to visit family in Brid - It was decorated very nicely with Xmas things -two trees! It was very comfortable and had lots of games and books for my two year old. Had everything we needed. Nothing really- couldn’t find a wine
Opener ?
- Skangster (10/5): - Close to town centre , the house was excellent and comfortable, will definitely stay again.
- Sian (9/5): Excellent home away from home - Great location and well equipped house. Clean, comfortable and enough space for 6 of us. Nice touch of a welcome basket. Really liked that there were extension cables around the house and fans in bedrooms. Huge garden and providing pegs for the washing line was appreciated. Buckets and spades for the beach were welcomed. Overall a fantastic stay. One of the fridges was very cold, to the point a can froze and exploded. It can't be changed, but as the windows that open are small, the house was very hot (and the temperature was around 23 outside, so not the height of summer temperatures).
- Janice (10/5): Great location walking distance to beach, shops and all other amenities - Great location. Had everything we needed for our stay. Decent size for 4 adults and 2 children.
- Jessica (10/5): Perfect family getaway - Gorgeous house with everything you could need. Beautifully clean and fantastic location.
Welcome basket was a really nice touch. Nothing.
- Nigel (7/5): Large house and garden - handy for town and supermarket . - The house was well positioned to be close to be able to walk into town . It is possible to park in the drive as long as your car is smaller than my medium sized suv. It’s not possible to park on the road outside for long . The house is spacious with a large back garden and a useful long washing line .
Lots of handy spare items such as toothbrushes , paste and razors and cleaning sprays / liquids. Good supply of all sizes of towels - but no tea towels or dishcloths.
Very good lights in the dining room but dim overhead lightbulbs on the stairs and bedrooms .
Great having two fridges and a freezer, along with a dishwasher . No washing machine unfortunately but there are pegs and a basket. Very poor lights in the lounge to try to read by at night, similarly dull landing light. .(Okay for watching the tv. )The welcome pack had about 8 small packs of biscuits in which was nice - until we saw their expiry date was over a month previous. You’ll probably need to move your car on Mondays to allow the bin to be moved down the drive onto the road ,for the dustbin lorry….unless you have a very narrow car .
- Betty (10/5): Home from home! - Home from home, very comfortable.
The welcome basket was much appreciated.
Well situated, lovely neighbourhood, quiet and friendly.
Fans were useful in the extreme heat.
Big kitchen, all good facilities, 2 fridges were a bonus.
Nice outdoor space too. Nothing at all.
- Jonathan (10/5): Lovely property, would definitely recommend. - Good location to walk into Brid or explore surrounding area. Clean, with everything you might need
- Robert (8/5): excellent property, minor criticisms as above but recommended, would stay again - location to beach. shops and town missed not having a larger sink in bathroom, and no hand sink in downstairs toilet garden furniture near house appeared broken, back of 2 seater , not very convenient having garden furniture cushions in upstairs bedroom
- Karolina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lynn (10/5): Exceptional -
- George (10/5): Exceptional - The house was amazing plenty of room for all
- Leia (8/5): Lovely stay in a beautiful family holiday home - Absolutely beautiful house. Spacious, clean, excellent location, parking included and lots of little extras, like kitchen and bathroom products and welcome basket. Big garden and toy selection was a big hit with the kids. Also excellent communication from the hosts. Would definitely stay here again 😊 Unfortunately the second bedroom wasn’t set up as a king room, which we had requested in advance. The sheets seemed to not be deep enough for the mattresses as they kept coming off at the corners each night. And although towels were provided they were quite small, so could do with some bigger bath sheets. But honestly all really little things and the hosts were very receptive to feedback 😊
- Graham (9/5): A comfortable, family house to stay in and relax - Seaside theme in house was great - Well located in the town, 2 supermarkets at end of street, lot’s of crockery and cutlery - more than enough, the garden was an added surprise and having 2 toilets was a welcome addition as well as a toy box for the kids and lot’s of fluffy towels, it was like a home from home and finally a T.V with more than 5 channels available including some on line Stuff - cannot say enough Nothing really
- Macmurtrie (9/5): LOVED staying here! - Welcome basket and the toys for babies/kids was a lovely touch the bedding was super comfy as was the sofas and chair in the living room exactly as looks on photos walked in and it had been fresh mopped was so clean a true home from home so close to the beach like a 10minute walk and your at everything from arcades to fish and chips to seaside rides and arcades there's a cinema amd bowling close too and a wetherspoons close which helped us for food when we couldn't decide lol Could of done with tvs in bedrooms, a baby gate for the stairs and maybe a washing machine instead of a dishwasher as it's easier to wash pots than clothes by hand haha, honestly hate to say any negative and it's not ment negative lol just some honest feedback :)
- Sharon (9/5): A very comfortable stay. - The house was very well equipped. The location was perfect. Very clean and comfortable with excellent furnishings. Nothing it was all good

- Emily (10/5): Ideal house in bridlington - I was sent to code for the key box a day before arrival, super easy for us to get in. When I messaged to ask Gemma a question she responded quickly and was super helpful. The house is beautiful and in the perfect location. Far enough away to have a bit of peace but close enough to have a great day out. I would recommend this house 100% to anyone looking to book.
- Ashley (10/5): Exceptional - Well equipped, spacious house. Welcome basket was a lovely touch, had a great stay! This isn't a criticism, the only thing we found was there wasn't a socket near the dressing table. Facilities were brilliant, literally had everything you could need in the house!
