• Cormac (10/5): Couldn't be more welcoming - The hosts could not have been more welcoming or accommodating. I was home for a family funeral and Bronagh kindly offered to iron my crumpled shirt. Fantastic place and I look forward to coming back. Nothing.
• Sioban (8/5): Perfect accomodation - Bronagh was very welcoming and helpful, recommending somewhere to eat for dinner and offering to provide us with tea and toast first thing in the morning as we had to leave at 7.30am to attend a hospital appointment. The room was very large and spacious as was the ensuite bathroom, which was great as my mum has mobility issues and it meant her rollator didn't get in the way. Everything was excellent

• sarah (8/5): - Spacious room, option for self catering, warm and cosy, large bathroom with shower and bath, comfortable beds, very central to town centre, flexible about check out. No light when you enter the driveway, needed the torch on my phone to find my way about in the dark, light only came on as I got near the house. Shower did not have a detachable hose. Breakfast not available as an option but plenty of cafes near by. Difficult to find the small lane leading to the house.

• Roberth765 (10/5): Welcoming area and great place to stay. - The house was beautiful with a large room. It was about 1/2 mile from town where you can find the St Patrick Centre. Don't miss the Down Museum as it is well worth a visit (up steps beside the Centre). We found the Murphy's bar opposite the centre had large meals at a reasonable price. We found GJS Coffee House on St Patricks Ave which is open till 5. Overall a great time. Shame no breakfast & hard to find one.

• Bevis (10/5): Very quiet location with a view very near to the town centre of Downpatrick - Good central location, just a very short wall into the town. Nice view with door to the garden. Only McDonalds was open for breakfast on a Sunday morning! Not really an issue with the property though!

It was located quite a way From the town. Not far for most people but my sister has a mobility problem and can’t walk very far.

Accommodation was excellent All restaurants in the area were closed in the evening! Fortunately, our lovely hosts allowed us to use the microwave and heat ready meals we bought at the local Lidl.

• Caoime (9/5): Great guest house with everything you could need abd fabulous hosts. Thank you. - A lovely spacious room with everything you could need. Nothing was too much trouble and Bronagh made sure we had everything we needed, taking great care of us. It is quite dark outside and parking is a little tight but really this didn’t detract from the lovely stay at all.

The host was very welcoming and friendly, and my room had excellent facilities including a lovely bathroom (with shower and bath) and a lovely kitchenette (with a microwave, kettle, gas hob, fridge and tea/coffee). My room was very clean and tidy, and I appreciated that I had access to an extension lead and hairdryer within the room also. It totally suited my needs for my short stay, and I would recommend any person needing accommodation in this location to stay at Dunleath House 😊

It had even more than they advertised, every amenity to live comfortable, gorgeous rooms, shower & bathtub, washing, everything for cooking as well as tea, coffee and milk to start. No better place to stay in DownPatrick! Genuinely cannot think of anything I didn't like or didn't meet my expectations!
