• Josephine (7/5): Okaaaaay.. - Zimmer mit Bad war geräumig, die Küche hatte alles was man brauchte! Es war ziemlich laut, die Fotos weichen sehr stark vom tatsächlichen Zimmer ab. Die wände sind sehr dreckig und es waren Löcher in den Wänden. Preis Leistung stimmt hier meiner Meinung nach nicht, da hatte ich bessere Unterkünfte für weniger Geld in GL

• Pedro (10/5): - Max was a great host, always ready to help and give great recommendations. The kitchen was a nice plus. The room was big and very clean. AC is available and fans for when there is an outage. There was power outage during one of the days but we barely noticed. Best accommodation we stayed in the Philippines! Away from the crowds but walkable distance to the tourism street in General Luna for restaurants and cafes. AC noisy. Not so great water pressure. Both common in Philippines

Nice location, outside of the main strip but close to everything, you can rent a motorcycle, beds are comfortable, bathroom is good enough and the house cat Lucy is the sweetest!!!! Max and Dani, the hosts, are very nice and you can ask them literally everything and they give very nice suggestions <3 Absolutely recommend!!! Nothing really, there was a cockroach in the bathroom, but that’s something you get used to in the Philippines haha. I didn’t really love the house perfume that you could smell on the hall ways and communal livingroom but that’s a personal thing.

• Vladimir (10/5): The place to stay in Siargao! - Comfortable bed, good a/c and fans, location is great as it's close to the main tourist bars/restaurants but quiet at night so easy to sleep, owners are friendly and helpful, can rent scooter next door for good price. In-house laundry was great as well. Booked 3 nights then extended to a full week. Would stay again! Small negative the shower sliding door was a bit damaged/broken so need to be careful when opening/closing it. Bathroom floor gets a bit wet also. No major issues however and the owners are always on top of issues / what needs to get fixed.

• Lotte (10/5): - We had an amazing one week stay at Max and his wife’s homestay. They are incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived, they gave us a warm welcome and showed us around. It truly felt like a home away from home. The room was super comfortable. The bed was cozy, the air conditioning worked perfectly and cooled the room down in no time, and everything was clean and well maintained. There’s also a laundry service available for just 200 pesos for 5 kilos, such a great deal! Our room was cleaned twice during the week, including fresh sheets and towels, which was a lovely surprise. There’s a shared kitchen available too we didn’t use it, but it looked very clean and well equipped. The location is also perfect, just a 5-minute scooter ride from the center of General Luna, yet peaceful and quiet. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Everything was just right, and we highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Siargao! Nothing to be honest :)

Con aire acondicionado, ventilador y con un ventilador extra que funciona aunque se vaya la luz. Agua fria y caliente a disposición. No nos hicieron la habitación en los tres dias, ni siquiera vaciar las papeleras. Muy educado y amable el encargado del establecimiento aunque no tan eficiente como en otros sitios.

• Michael (10/5): Excellent room with great management! - Max and Danielle were truly some of the best hosts we have ever had. Always responsive, great suggestions on where to eat and things to do, how to book certain things and just absolute gems all around. Your room gets cleaned often, which was so nice since we were there for two weeks. Laundry was super affordable. The room is great, exactly as pictured and everything works well. I can't recommend it enough! Thank you both so much for our time.

Attention is needed to maintain bathroom sliding door-stuck. Bathroom supplies like soap can be better. TV programs can be better. May need lodge’ name outside. Some drivers don’t know the location. May need to set up credit card payment system to assist direct reservations.

• Christine (10/5): Exceptional - Space was very clean and adequate for a solo traveler. It's easy to walk to lots of restaurants. They can also help set up tours and excursions. All the staff take pride in creating a great environment.
• Alicia (6/5): Nice room, but kinda far from tourist rd. - Water available and nice size room with flat screen tv. Wifi was good too. If you are looking for a nice room, this has it. Nowhere to sit on the balcony or out front. The balcony is just used for drying clothes. Don't book this place thinking you can hang out there, even if you could, there isn't much to see from it. Also, every place has signs about what not to do and such, but this place went even further with posting the fines you will be assessed if you do. I personally find that to be a little too much. A bit aggressive.

• Dor (9/5): great stay - the guest house crew was really welcoming and nice, the house it self and the room was clean wide and comfortable. kitchen with free coffee and tea, fridge and fully equipped. good vibes and great location! not in the touristic and expensive part of the general luna but 10 minutes walk, and let you see more of the local central area. thank you for the stay my friends! the only thing that was a bit odd I'm ls the smell of the water in the shower.. probably because of the heater that made out of plastic.. except of that everything was great
• Andrea (8/5): Amazing! - Had a lovely stay at Siesta. The location is very accommodating, short walk to the main area where are plenty restaurants and bars. The room was specious, the bed was very comfortable, loved the pillows. There was AC in the room, laundry service available, you can use the kitchen and the living area as well, a lot of fun board games were available. I loved the cat Lucy! Only thing which I found confusing were the trash bins in the room, I wasn’t sure should I ask someone to empty the bins because they weren’t emptied for a couple of days.

The room was spacious and clean, with drinking water available. The host Max was super friendly and helpful, he even organised our onwards transport which we really appreciated

The beds are so cozy, it feels like you're really at home. The owners are so sweet and make sure you have everything you need. There is a shared kitchen which really comes in handy. Wifi, Aircon, and hot water all worked great. Everything was great!

The room ticks all the boxes with a perfect location just a small walk from the Ma - The staff were exceptionally friendly and informative over booking dot com! The room is big and has everything you need while also being budget friendly! The owners weren’t present and the attendants of the property sometimes weren’t there. But nothing too inconvenient.
• Nigel (8/5): It was a nice place; the owner was very nice. - It was clean , bed was comfortable The shower doesn’t have a lot of power, I think the shower head could could do with cleaning or changing, the electricity kept cutting out, and when it did, you didn’t have any Air con, fan or lights, sometimes it was only for 10, or 15 minutes, and again another time,, it was off for hours, .

The location is good, a little outside the centre of town away from the parties. The road is still a little noisy but not so bad at night. I always slept well.

• Fergal (10/5): Amazing! - Dani and Max were fantastic, so helpful and accommodating. Cannot recommend them and their place enough. Is exactly as shown in the photos. Quiet at night (no roosters or barking dogs which is a bonus in the Philippines). Location is excellent, short walks to the beach, lovely cafes and restaurants. A short ride to cloud 9. Nothing. In fact, we both wished we had stayed longer than originally planned. Siargao, Dani and Max have been our favourite trip so far (currently in the middle of a 9 month stint covering south east Asia and South America).

They organised our tours, surfing and scooter rentals and told us things to do around! The room itself was very clean and spacious and the bed was comfy. It’s in a great location, it has a great Thai and burger restaurant a block away and the main strip is about a 5 minute walk. Best place we have stayed!
• Laila (10/5): Great and friendly Place ! - Max was great with us, he is the host that every traveler needs. He helped with recommendations for activities, renting motorbikes and even booking the tours for us. About the location must said is just perfect, is close to the port and the main street (tourism road) where you can find stores and many restaurants. Definitely we go back there!
