The apartment is modern, bright, very well maintained, equipped with a small and modern self-catering unit, a balkony, pool, all as shown on the accommodation’s homepage (www.theterraverde.co.za). The apartment is highly recommended for one or two persons discovering the beautiful town, lagoon and coastal regions as Brenton-on-Sea, Buffal’s Bay and landscapes as Goukamma and Featherbed Nature Reserve. Our room was well appointed and offered everything needed for our short stay. The bed was comfortable, the view is stunning. We were able to bring our Missy with us and she got on really well with Bentley. Everything needed was there. Highly recommend for short and longer stays.

Er hat sich viel Zeit für uns genommen und uns sofort das Gefühl gegeben, willkommen zu sein. Man merkt, dass ihm seine Gäste wirklich am Herzen liegen und er viel Herzblut in die wunderschöne Anlage steckt. Vielen Dank für die herzliche Gastfreundschaft. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen jederzeit gerne wieder!

• Elizabeth (10/5): We wished we could have stayed longer - Absolutely loved our stay at Terra Verde. We were met on arrival by Alfred who gave us the guided tour of the property. We met the equally lovely Natalie later on who also made us feel very welcome. The views from the upper terrace is amazing. It is walking distance to a fair few restaurants but we took an uber back as the hill was a bit steep for us oldies. The jacuzzi by the side of the plunge pool was a lovely touch as we needed a bit of a water massage. Nothing to dislike.

P and Q & Max - This is a self-catering unit with all the amenities that is required for a holiday break. My furry friend was more than welcome and became part of the "family". Breathtaking views from the upper deck, pieceful and quite and most enjoyable with a cup of coffee. The sauna, therapeutic hot-tub was all that was needed to relax the aching muscles...and sleep well afterwards. Nothing to complain about or add.

The beds were very comfortable, the views are INCREDIBLE and their hot tub, sauna and pool area make it a perfect getaway. Highly recommend staying here if you are ever in Knysna. n/a

Alfred is quite friendly and always helpful. The attention to detail he has put in his rooms to ensure every need of his guest is taken care of is brilliant. More than worth it for the price.

The bathroom was modern and equipped with a very good shower (plenty of pressure and hot water). The whole place was in an excellent condition and only a short drive away from the centre of Knysna and yet very quiet and safe. Very good value for many. Nothing

• Reshoketswe (9/5): Very friendly hosts! - Loved the location, which had lovely views of the lagoon both from the balcony and the sun deck. It was close enough to everything else, and the host was very lovely and understanding - able to accommodate our check-in and check-out times. Also very detailed in informing us what was available and how to use everything. Very spacious accommodation, lovely kitchenet which is fully equipped. The room can be very very cold especially in winter, so maybe bring a portable heater with you. Maybe 1 extra blanket. The Jacuzzi goes up to about 37 degrees Celsius which was far less than expected. The sauna wasn't offered so - looked like a storage unit really.
• Ashton (10/5): Best Knysna Experience! - The friendly reception and the personalised attention to our every need. Oh, and the view is amazing. The Spa Bath was the best experience of our stay. Our time spent at the venue was too short. We didn't get to explore all that was on offer.
