• Tamara (8/5): Beautiful apartment in beautiful Bologna!!!! - As others mentioned, Vittorio our host was wonderful. He was amazing with communication prior and during our stay if we had any questions or concerns. He helped us with suggestions for storing our luggage (right around the corner) as we had an early flight, arranging a second set of keys etc.. He also provided us recommendations for restaurants which was very nice. Having a kitchen was wonderful as I love to cook and going to local grocery stores and putting together meals with local ingredients was very fun. The outdoor seating area was beautiful and a highlight. We too would have liked a stand up shower but it was not a deal breaker.

The apartment is huge: large living room, bedroom plus wide wardrobe, bathroom with BATH, reading room and, of course, rooftop garden.The host was very nice, he recommended us several places to eat and our arrival was smooth.
• Guillaume (8/5): Great and classy place, greatly located. Few minor improvements would be welcome. - Classy and authentic place, amazing terrace, and great communication with Vittorio the host. Warm feeling. The place is not in a perfect state of renovation, the bathtub is pretty bad for example, it's a cheap old plastic thing. There can be some noise from neighbours. The TV streaming platforms are not usable (logged in by owner?).

Appartamento arredato con cura, ben equipaggiato e molto silenzioso, con un delizioso giardinetto. Vittorio, il proprietario, è stato molto gentile e disponibile. A pochi passi un minimarket, ristoranti e negozi, oltre che le principali attrazioni di Bologna. Essere rimasti una sola notte!
• Cristina (10/5): Magnifique ville magnifique location. - L'appartemenr est magnifique plein de space terriblement calme bien que situé au centre de Bologne,un vrai plaisir de descendre dans la rue et de se trouver proche de tout, Le mobilier et la deco est coszy et l'exterieur un havre de paix bienvenu. Nous avons apprecie l'accueil de l'hote et la facilité a communiquer avec lui, ainsi que ses bons conseils.

• Manuela (1/5): Pessima esperienza - Le uniche due cose belle sono l’estetica della casa e la posizione Casa sporca, riscaldamento spento e senza possibilità di accenderlo, brioches e marmellate per la colazione tutte scadute da anni, neanche una bottiglietta d’acqua, sciacquone non funzionante, acqua calda lentissima ad uscire. Detto questo vorrei soffermarmi sul padrone di casa che è stato maleducato, LADRO ed inopportuno: mi ha RUBATO 178€ per una cancellazione ERRATA, ha smesso di rispondere al cellulare e non ha voluto dare spiegazioni né a me né a Booking. Mi sono ritrovata ad aver pagato UNA notte 278€ nonostante io abbia spiegato e rispiegato la situazione, lui ha deciso di non rimborsarmi i soldi e di SPARIRE completamente. Esperienza nel complesso PESSIMA e veramente demoralizzante, non mi era MAI successo prima.

• Hilde (10/5): Prachtig appartement op de perfecte locatie, zo’n 6 minuten stappen van de Piaggio Magiore. - Prachtig appartement met alle nodige voorzieningen. Vittorio is een perfecte gastheer, hij heeft ons persoonlijk verwelkomd en gaf wat (restaurant)tips. Het appartement heeft een prachtig en rustig gelegen terras waar het fijn vertoeven was. Niets, alles was perfect

The owner came in person to help with early check in. I can't exactly say. I felt like living in a historic area. A little uneasiness and uncomfortable feeling. I may have gotten used to the European-style modern apartment 😅😅

The decor, the comfy bed, the very central location, the apartment was so quiet and peaceful. Spotlessly clean. Very attentive host. I would have preferred a proper shower to a bath.

I highly recommend this property for a stay in Bologna. Nothing.

• Amanda (10/5): If you want location, a spacious apartment with a cute garden patio, and a friendly & helpful host, this is your pic - This apartment was in a great location, walking distance to Bologna’s cafes, restaurants and culture. Plenty of room to spread out here as well. I would also like to mention, our host was extremely helpful with all his local recommendations, and even ordered us a taxi when we were struggling to use the local taxi app. He definitely went above and beyond with his hospitality. It wasn’t a big deal, but there is no shower, just a bath with a shower hose. Would be perfect if a shower head and curtain was installed as well.
• Marion (10/5): Wonderful accommodation in a very central location - We fell in love with this place and everything in it! The smell in the apartment as you entered was so lovely, the decor was old but arty, and we wished we could have stayed longer. The rooftop garden was the icing on the cake!!! Vittorio was an exemplary host who was very helpful before we even arrived. The location is perfect for central Bologna shopping, sight seeing, amazing food and more. Its close to the train station and only 20-25 minutes to the airport (traffic dependant of course). We will definitely go back when we visit our new favourite city! Ps, it has a great hairdryer!!! The lack of a shower! A bath is mentioned in the description, but it is quite deep, and even though we are fit, it was a bit of a struggle to get out of as there are no handles to help you. There is a shower head but keeping the spray inside the bath is a bit tricky!

The outdoor area is lovely and peaceful being an internet courtyard. Vettorio is the most helpful host and has much local information to pass on to guests. This house is well worth a stay whilst in Bologna.

We slept really well. Nice and calm to return to after a day out. Lovely to have the roof terrace to use. Responsive and welcoming manager/owner. There were a few little niggles which I raised with the manager/owner. A lack of sink plugs. No iron despite there being an ironing board. The bath and shower arrangement is not good. The bath is very small and narrow. The jacuzzi doesn’t work and the fittings have seen better days. There is only a hand-held shower attachment with no wall fitting or curtain so the floor gets wet and slippery. It is really inconvenient. I see that lots of guests have raised this but there have been no changes. I think it should be highlighted in the description too.

It would be nice if there was a way to hang the shower head to take a shower without holding it. Also recommend adding a shower current. However, if you like taking a bath, no problem.

It was clean and comfortable. Vittero was so supportive and helpful, which was wonderful. If we go back, we will definitely stay here. The location was close to everything. The only thing was the bathtub. We know it had a bathtub and no stand-up shower. However, the bathtub is small and not really user-friendly.

• Judy (9/5): Beautifully decorated and perfectly located to see the sights of Bolgna. - The size of the apartment far exceeded our expectations. Loved the rooftop garden, where we sat and had evening drinks, until the mosquitoes sent us inside. The apartment was beautifully decorated - which added to the charm of it. It was a little distance from the station, but we walked it in 20-25 minutes which was fine. However, it was perfectly located to easily explore the sights of the Bolgna. To be ultra critical, the lack of the ability to shower - but we managed to stand in the bath and hold the hand shower without making too much mess!

Windows need to be closed all the time as they are facing the neighboring terrase - same counts for second room with sofa, see before - Neighbores were very loud, arguing and rummaging until 11pm, could not sleep - Whirpool seems not to work for years, rather bad condition and pool outlets with green patina - sofa has seen better times years ago - rooftop is on 1st floor, entirely enclosed by anothe 2 stories with flats - rooftop separated for 3 parties, 1 renter has a dog, barking with every step outside - no shelf if it is raining, canvas over steel pergola could help - garden seats made of grid-steel - no pillows existing for comfort - until midnight TV was running very loud 2 flats above - travveling by car and looking for parking is `a pain in the neck`. Unloading luggage at entrance not possible. Appartment does not offer parking Summary: Not to recommend and price/quality ratio of € 150.00 per night is way to high

Recommended a great little restaurant which we booked and really enjoyed. Lovely apartment, lovely little garden for morning coffee of evening wine. Quiet location, however round the corner from the main square. lovely and clean, sorry we couldn't stay longer. shower is on the side of the bath and you can't stand to use it.

Air conditioner in living area was a bonus as we had days of 38 degrees. Safe and secure apartment in complex with lift. Amazing location, walking distance to many sights including the Arena which is only 5 minutes to walk, great if attending the Opera. Close to supermarkets. Very quiet area despite being close to everything. Vittorio met us at the apartment and suggested some good places to eat away from the tourist traps which were amazing.We would definitely stay at Rooftop Garden again and I would recommend this to anyone wanting a great location at an affordable price. • Feng-chin (9/5): Highly recommended landlord and good place to stay in Bologna city center! - Bologna roof top garden is one of the good accommodation among our honeymoon in our Italy trip (we visited 7 different cities) Highly recommended if you plan to visit Bologna. Below are the details, Location: The accommodation is located in the center of old town where many touring sites/ stores and shopping malls are walkable within 10-15 mins. This saves a lot of money for transportation and super convenient when you did some shopping at street (can always take bags back to hotels without carrying all the time) Facility: Clean and elevator is vital especially for long travelers with many luggages. The room is with a garden which is rare for the properties in the area. During our stay, we even saw snows piled up in the garden! Spacious living room with good natural lightings made us very relaxed. Kitchen also good for basic cooking and long dining table is nice and handy. Landlord Vittorio was very nice, helpful and recommended many good local restaurants for us to try bistecca, risotto, gelato, pasta and pizzas. Some of the restaurants are low profile on Google yet famous within local people (and taste yummy!) He also helped us to book restaurant/ post office services since our Italian are not so fluent and he was SUPER helpful and responsive! Thank you Vittorio! We will definitely come back visit next time Bologna! the path from elevator to room still needs few steps which takes a little effort to move luggage but not major issue :)
