Guest Reviews
- Trevor (8/5): - Lovely overnight stay! Food delicious. Room comfortable and quaint. Candle in bathroom , but no matches , would have loved to have had a candlelight bath.
Biggest bath I have ever been in. First bath my tall husband has enjoyed in a while. Will definately return.

- Sivuyile (7/5): All was good, just didn't get a double bed I requested - Clean and quiet Art
- Estelle (8/5): We enjoyed our stay a lot - perfect location for our weekend activities - The restaurant on the property was very convenient. The food was excellent too.
- Nuguan (8/5): Very happy in Napier. - Friendliness of owner and staff. It's like my home away from home. Nothing, just the way I would like it.
- Geoffrey (6/5): Would be better when not so hot. - Room was clean, bed comfortable Very hot and humid. Ceiling fan wholly inadequate.
- Ramon (7/5): - The cottage had lovely charm. Basic but ok. Fresh milk was a bonus. The hand soap dispenser had your smelling soap in it. No shampoo or soap bar. The host was unwelcoming and grouchy. Arguing with staff about internal politics and prioritizing other patrons over serving us in the restaurant. She looked exhausted but put a damper on our date night. All the same the pizza was fantastic (the reason we went there) and the accomodation comfortable. The host wasn't friendly but she wasn't nasty either.
- Margaret (9/5): We will stay there again. They were very helpful. - Very friendly staff and superb location.
We felt very safe. No complains
- Joanne (10/5): - The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a wonderful stay, and delicious dinner at the restaurant on the premises. Would highly recommend, and stay there again any day.
- Tamaryn (10/5): Warm country feeling - Wonderful, friendly, and accommodating staff. Nice restaurant - great pizza!

- Shi & Bart Verheul (5/5): - Easy to find, safe outside parking and the food was tasty! There was a glitch on booking.com and it changed my room that I booked, the host change rooms for us from a twin to a double. We left early for personal reasons but on our first night, it was noisy from other guests, we couldn't have the window open because it rattled, the bath shower head was broken so water sprayed all over the bathroom. Our first impression was not great, and the vibe was off. I did not like that when we were first met the person checking us in said "oh so it's you with the long and complicated name" as someone who has been told that my whole life and has spent a long time in hospitality, that is not how you greet guests.

- Smith (8/5): As good as any other and with aircon (in Summer) you need look no further. - Great value. Nice people. Very neat , clean and tidy.
A/C to be added soon.
Food and drinks also good. The pork ribs. It's ok for the price.
- Dolly (8/5): Very good - The hospitality and information sharing about the area, how transport system works and general care provided by both the owner and staff was superb. As a lone traveler and this being my first time in the region, they made me feel at home away from home and I felt the love of this small community.
- Samantha (6/5): Pleasant -
- Marlon543 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kelly (10/5): Time well spent - It's perfect for a getaway. It's quiet and peaceful and the staff is amazing. I would go back again anytime. I didn't like the fact that I had to leave and go back home.
- Albert (8/5): Very good - Great value for money in the country. Nice view from the barn, bar and swimming pool on the premises. Very close to Struisbaai, Arniston and not a far drive from Hermanus.
- Sekwena (8/5): Very good - The host is amazing, friendly, patient, and knowledgeable (to say the least) about the area and activities one can do. The accommodation itself was great and exceeded expectations. Amazing pizza and loved the broad options they have for vegan and vegetarian meals. Short stay, so we were not able to explore more of what the accommodation and the area offered.
- Tony (9/5): We would happily go back. - Theunie and staff were helpful and friendly and concerned for our comfort. Small concern about secure parking.
- Hein (10/5): Exceptional -

What to say happy birthday for tomorrow may God bless you enjoy you day tomorrow girl 🎂🎉🎊💐
- Dean (10/5): Home away from home - Everything as advertised, comfortable stay. I didn't read the listing properly and assumed the bath was an extra luxury. Thought there was also a shower. The bath looks a bit rusty and no so nice, but it doesn't really affect the experience. Also, the room would be perfect if there was a little desk, but I understand the need to be able to do a little work from their laptop in the evening is not everyone's priority.
- Richard (8/5): Very friendly and warm vibe. Food and atmosphere very good. Comfortable accommodation. Great value. -
- Pedro (10/5): really relaxing - all round lekker people and host going home
- Andrea (7/5): Good -
- Kotze (10/5): Excellent - very clean and staff very friendly. - One of the cleanest places I have ever stayed in. Nothing I didn't like.
- Petra (9/5): Superb -
- Bm (7/5): Good - It was fine Rain
- Kate (5/5): An interesting couple of nights - It is easy to find, has some secure overnight parking and the evening food is good. They put our milk in a commercial fridge.
Good price.
The room had traditional furniture and was quite large. There was a swimming pool. It was locked up tight when we arrived about 3pm. We were phoning the second number on the door, the first not having been answered, when someone came to let us in. We were given a key and told the upstairs room number. The fridge and kettle were in a communal lounge area, but we did not find these immediately and when we did the fridge was unplugged. It did not really work for about 24 after we plugged it in.
The room was at the front of the building so we were woken at 5ish when local people started going to work.
The traditional freestanding bath was large, but very rusty. It had a hand shower which you have to hold to use as there was no wall hook. The bathroom window had no blind or curtain and only one pane was frosted, the other being clear with a view onto the street.
The pool was green.
- Nandipha (8/5): Very good -

All the comforts of home with such comfortable beds. Loved the cottage and Suntouched Inn as always. Theunie was super friendly and accommodating No handrail on stairs to attic room
- Gert (9/5): Great staff - Left bigger room for my mum, my daughter and me despite arriving late at night
- Josef (5/5): Good enviroment - The view, the quietness The fan was wobbly and did not provide any relief from the heat
- Maria (8/5): Pieter is THEE BEST - The people - so inviting! That our stay was so short
- Zuhanda (8/5): It's was very very nice and quiet would recommend the place food was nice and also the staff was exc - The location is very nice and the food top notch Everything was nice thanks

- Laurent (10/5): Exceptional -

- Ranger (5/5): Passable - The pizza from the restaurant was great The bathroom needs an upgrade
To much noise coming from the main road early morning
Lots of steps to get to my room, but no help offered with the luggage
- Sharpe (9/5): We'll be back 😊 - We loved meeting the local folk in the pub downstairs. The pizzas are fantastic. They didn't serve breakfast. But that gave us an opportunity to have brekkie at a little place down the street.
- Marco (8/5): Very good -
- Craig (9/5): Superb - Nice establishment with character and soul The pizza is a little too good.
- Sonnet (9/5): The sun always shines at the Suntouched Inn. - Awesome food, great value for money and very accommodating to our needs. I wish we could have stayed another night.
