Guest Reviews
- Neadley (10/5): Lovely and inclosed and fantastic facilities - Lovely and inclosed and fantastic facilities
- Trevor (10/5): Beautiful place for a weekend away - Location was lovely. Property was spotless and had everything needed for a relaxing break. Would highly recommend. One tiny critique is pillows were on the firm side.
Other than this there was nothing we didn’t like.
- Cobb (9/5): lovely place - perfect for romantic getaway -
- Sophie (6/5): Great lodge but sleep was awful - The outside space was lovely, the bath was a really nice touch. There was no lock on the gate to access the property. At night there was a continuing clanking noise which we could only assume was the beams adjusting to the change in temperature but it was very loud and went on through the night. There was also scratching noises through the night which we guessed were birds on the roof so neither of us slept very well
- Marie (10/5): Would definitely stay here again! - We loved Autumn Lodge. Very secluded. Lovely outdoor seating and bath area.
The inside was well resented and clean.
- Marie (10/5): Lovely cabin for the weekend! - Spring lodge is lovely! Secluded enough but also a great view of the garden - a little sun trap. Clean throughout and the outside bath is a lovely added touch.
- stefan (10/5): -
- Gabrielle (9/5): It was lovely , perfect for what we needed - Lovely and clean , great space The traffic noise
- Frezia (7/5): Overall it was a pleasant stay - I had a great stay! The location was absolutely amazing and made everything so convenient. The TVs were all working perfectly and having access to Netflix was a nice bonus for relaxing evenings. One of the highlights was definitely the outdoor tub—it was incredibly relaxing and a great touch.
Everything was very clean and well-maintained, which made the stay even more comfortable. I also appreciated the little extras like the coffee machine and toaster, which made mornings easy and enjoyable. However, there were a couple of downsides. There was no hot water in the bathroom, which was quite inconvenient, and there was no oven available, which limited cooking options.
- Jane (9/5): Relaxing getaway - Very relaxing . Comfortable and well thought out layout No TV in bedroom in the cabin we stayed in .
- brett (9/5): We stayed here before an early flight out of Bournemouth.. and it’s just perfect to start the holiday in the right way , - It’s perfect on every way Nothing
- Jacob (10/5): - Place is nice was comfortable road noise is loud not their fault but bring earplugs if your sensitive to this. also have to open the oven to get to cutlery this actually made me smile so
- Emma (8/5): Private gated cabin with an outside bath, perfect for a couples nights away. - The bath was a great touch and being able to close the gates to feel private in the cabin was great. A lot of attention to detail to make the property clean and tidy. Had everything we needed including dressing gowns!
- Bethan (10/5): -
- Smart (10/5): - The outside bathing area Not enough sugar and milk
- john (10/5): We had a great time and would love to come back. - The property was spotless, thoughtfully equipped, and exceptionally comfortable throughout. It was all great.
- Evie (10/5): Very enjoyable!! we plan on coming back :) - Garden was lovely, the bed was clean and very comfortable!! The bathroom was also great! n’a
- Billy (10/5): - Nice new clean tidy
Outside bath was incredible A little loud due to main road but thats just one of those things happens everywhere
- Aimee (10/5): Perfect little getaway - Lovely, cosy property - has everything you need for a long weekend. Very private and great outdoors space! The road noise from the dual carriage way was loud at all hours so struggled to sleep but doesn’t matter for a weekend!
- Ben (10/5): Would definitely recommend, a really cosy cabin tucked away. - It was really cosy an comfy. The heating was on for when we arrived and it was so toasty! It’s compact but had everything you need and the bath outside was a great touch! We weren’t going to use it because it was so cold out but we’re so glad we had half hour in it! The location is lovely and quiet despite being not far from a main road, it’s tucked away and honestly, it felt like we were miles from anywhere. Really easy to find with great directions supplied. Would definitely recommend.
- Megan (6/5): -
- Davis (10/5): Very peaceful very nice place stay and would stay again - It was very peaceful
- Ruby (10/5): Very clean, great location! - Very clean and stocked on what was needed, communication was great too. Nothing
- Ruby (9/5): -
- Lucy (10/5): Lovely stay, would stay again - Lovely clean place The noise from the dogs barking in the morning
- Nigel (7/5): It was okay - Very cosy Noisy - no Wi-Fi and small toilet facility
- Esme (8/5): Cozy and super cute - Very nice and cozy really enjoyed it everything was clean and was in such a nice area I really enjoyed it and would go again, it was very easy to find aswell and didn’t have any issues with it A few things were broken like the locks on the bathroom door and the toilet seat, I would of liked more usual things like an oven as it’s expensive going out for a meal every night
- Simon (10/5): - Comfortable, clean and perfect setting for our first NYE together
- Isabelle (10/5): -
- Nathan (8/5): -

- Ollie (8/5): Cosy, wholesome and very good value for money. - Property was in a lovely area and everywhere you wanna go is maximum 15 minute drive away. Was very clean and tidy. Lovely place for a week away. Only downside on our part was there was only 1 binbag for an entire week, and there was no outside lighting for the bathtub.
- Tanya (10/5): Just what the dr ordered ! - Beautiful settings, amazing staff, loved the facilities too! That I only had one night there
- Irene (9/5): Good - Clean comfy Road noise

- William (10/5): Great place love mr Carter - Everything Na
- William (10/5): Great place highly recommended - Everything Na
- Sam (8/5): Absolutely loved the place and had a great stay. - Loved the outside bath and area as a whole. Really comfy bed and great shower. Overall it’s a really nice place and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A few issues only….Work is being done on the lodge right next door which resulted in noise and workers there often on 2 of the days we were there. One of the workers was on the roof and could see into our outdoor area which alarmed us a little and meant we couldn’t use the bath facility at that time. Wi-Fi didn’t work. Blinds let a lot of light in.
- Deacon (9/5): - Having an inclosed area with an outside bath and the shower waterfall. Bed was also very comfy. Overall presentation of apartment was lovely and very relaxing Blinds to main enterance if apartment didn't fit doorway properly meaning then did sit properly. No tv in the bedroom. No oven glove to use
- Curtis (10/5): -
- Lee (10/5): -
- sue (8/5): Lovely break , Cosy and secluded - Everything supplied a lot of thought gone into making sure you didn’t need to bring with you . Not much in walking distance.
- William (10/5): -
- William (10/5): Great little place must visit - I’ve visited a few times it’s lovely and private Na
- Georgina (10/5): - Little paddock was a lovely place to stay in. Very clean and loved the bath outside. Would definitely stay again. Na
- Tia (10/5): - It was very clean and cosy lovely and quiet apart from road noise from about 4-8pm , which cannot be helped after then it was very quiet
- William (10/5): Great place to visit and value for money highly recommended mr William carter - I love it there it’s peaceful with an outside bath which is lovely to layin .me personally I would highly recommend it .the privacy is a1 must be visited and enjoyed to the max I loved everything
- William (10/5): Great place highly recommended great value and peace and quiet - Great place Na
- Maryna Shynkarenka (2/5): WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! SUPER NOISY! - The New Forest is a beautiful area overall. The busy road is so close by - you can hear the cars nonstop! There was also rain, and the building is located under the trees with cones - it was a non-stop bombardment of the cones on the roof! No earbuds, no noise-cancellation headphones could help. Honesty, the worst stay I've ever had in my life.
- Heidi (10/5): Perfect stay to celebrate our anniversary - 10 out of 10 such a stunning lodge so glad I found this little gem! We can’t wait to return, very private. Loved the outside bath and swinging chair. The lodge was spotless with everything we needed. Hosts were great at responding to questions and even let us have a 12pm checkout the lay in was great appreciated. Location was fab! We found a local country pub for a roast dinner. And even had a visit from the resident ginger cat! We will be back ❤️ Nothing to not like

- jason (9/5): -
- Alden (10/5): - We were very impressed with the lodge. They were a lot better than the pictures showed There was nothing we didn't like
- Evelina (8/5): -
- Daniel (10/5): - The little paddock was a great place to stay prior to our flight from Bournemouth airport, easy to get in and the place had all the things you needed and more for a self catering night or weeks stay.
Information was sent well in advance from Kerry and Brendan. Would highly recommend and would consider staying there again. All fine.
- Ruth (6/5): - Most of this accomodation is quite high spec for example the lighting in the bathroom very co.fy bed and nice touches like the plant verandah and outside bathing area We hadn't appreciated how much we would hear the road noise all day and sometimes at night. The accomodation is under a lovely oak tree. As the accomodation is essentially a fancy static caravan when the acorns landed on the roof there was a loud bang which was so loud it woke us at night.
Weirdly the way the kitchen has been designed you can only open the cutlery drawer when the oven door is open.
- Daisy (10/5): Exellent - Amazing, super cosy Only downside right next to road, however, super minor compared to the rest of the stay
- Justin (10/5): -
- Gavin (8/5): -
- James (9/5): -
- Jordi Cirera (10/5): Lloc amb encant amb tot el que necessites per la teva estada - Tot era molt bonic, molt ben equipat, tots els Detalls cuidats, molt net. Per la nit s'escoltava el trafic i molestava
- Pov (10/5): Watch out for Garfield - It was a beautiful place, I loved the sizely lawn. My girlfriend struggles with Arachnophobia, hence the spiders were a bit of a problem.
- Jenna (6/5): - Great location easy parking etc The plates were all in the cupboard soaking wet a few not clean so had to wash them up again. A really dirty mug in the cupboard. Lots of hairs in the bed so it made me worry it wasn’t clean..
Hairs on the sofa and a few in the shower.
- Izzy (10/5): Really easy to get to, super clean, and such a beautiful place to be. Definitely worth it! -
- Neal (9/5): Great short stay getaway - Very spacious grounds and good sized lodges. More lightning on the premise for the evening and night when walking back from one lodge to another was quite dark
- Emelda (10/5): Really good stay - Little paddock is a really nice place to stay and we had an awesome time. Our lodge was right next to the road therefore was a tad noisy during the day but in the night it was ok with minimal cars using the road Nothing really , was skeptical of the car noise but in the end that proved not to be an issue at all
- C (8/5): Night stay in Summer cottage - The summer cottage where we stayed was very clean. Beautiful outside and inside. It had everything you need for the night. Tea, coffee, and some biscuits.
The best i think is the Spring cottage where my friend was. It is spacious and beautifully done. Stayed in the Summer cottage, which was quite small and compact though the price was £150. Its like a studio flat.
There is noise from the traffic on the road next to the Lodge.
The fridge need defrosting.
Also found left over Chinese food in the fridge...
- Jane (9/5): Relaxing from start to finish - The outside bath and private garden area was perfect and made for the perfect relaxing getaway. Nothing .
- Anna (9/5): Superb -
- David (10/5): Exceptional - I stay in hundreds of different properties and locations every year with work and Little Paddock lodges is by far one of the best I have ever stayed in. Inside the lodge is very modern and you soon forget you are in a cabin as you feel like you were in a luxury apartment. The outside seating area is a very nice touch also. Will definitely book again when in the area. Nothing to dislike
- Phil (9/5): Superb -
- Emma (9/5): Superb -
- Amberly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aaron (10/5): memorable night, never to be forgotten - i really loved the outside area with the bath and the seating area and on top of that there was a TV which i was shocked about, and the interior is stunning very well put together there wasn’t anything i didn’t like, the place was absolutely fantastic
- Pamela (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely quirky stay. The outside bath was such a lovely addition. The fridge wasn’t working as it should do and no space to stand up wine bottles!
- Agnieszka (10/5): Perfect for couples - Lovely spot, cabin smaller then it looks on photos but cosy and have everything you need. Sun on the terrace in the morning, deep bath and very comfy bed. Also, very private with fence and bushes seperating from rets of the place Just a little bit of noise from motorway on the terrace, didn't disturb the sleep with window closed
- Paige (7/5): I enjoyed it but small tweaks could be made - I liked the location and layout of the room/ outdoor area I found a stick on toe nail on the decking and a dark long hair on the bedding. Robes had holes in and toilet roll was very cheap. The coffee machine still had the last persons used pod in it.
- Mike (7/5): Good - Nice location, nice enclosed space for our daughter to play outside, she's 1. Continuous smell of rotten eggs, probably sewage, anytime we were outside. The floor was very dirty inside, we had black feet after just having our flip flops off for 15 minutes, daughters socks were dirty.
- Wilson (7/5): Nice place would stay again despite my little moan - Really nice little place for an overnight stay everything very modern and we loved the TV and bath in the garden area I'm not normally one to moan and I don't know if the cleaner just had an off day but it wasn't the cleanest there were spiderwebs in 3 out of the 6 corners of the kitchen/living room and the outside windows and table looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time.. considering you are told you could be charged if you don't take your own rubbish to the outside bins we expected a little more
- Nicky (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jay (10/5): Exceptional - Came into a little bit of trouble while ther, but spoke with Kerry and she sorted it for us. Really helpful and I am super pleased with everything! Accessible and easy to get too, really nice bath and facilities! Amazing as a whole!
- Louisa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elizabeth (8/5): Very good -
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional -
- Georgia (10/5): a brilliant weekend away for my boyfriend’s birthday the both of us loved it very much - the outside bath is a lovely addition to this incredible property, the weekend was warm and what a view to wake up to in the morning, the bed was unbelievable i will definitely be coming back there was nothing at all that i didn’t love about this property
- Julie (10/5): Comfy, peaceful, beautiful stay with an outside bath!! - Little paddock is the perfect stay for couples. The new forest is so so close and absolutely beautiful. I loved the bath outside, perfect touch. The owners provided a sheet with instructions and local takeaway recommendations. We used the Chinese- best we’ve had! Owner also readily available to contact and helped us with our query! Will definitely stay here again! Loved everything about it!!! ALSO THE BED IS SO COMFY LIKE A CLOUD
- Callum (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ashley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chloe (8/5): Cosy hideaway - We loved the location as it was close to both the New Forest and Bournemouth for trips! The outside bath was such a treat and the room was warm and cosy even though it was quite chilly outside! The outside garden area is lovely and private. Perfect for relaxing! The room is quite small inside so I think we would have found it tricky if we had stayed for multiple nights. Was fine for an overnight stay! We would have preferred not to have had to take our own rubbish out and be asked to strip the bed (which we didn’t see until after we had checked out) as it’s nice to escape those kind of things when you’re having a night away!
- Laura (9/5): Perfect for a couples get away. - The lodge was lovely, spacious, clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for a night away. The check in was easy and everything was clearly explained in a email before we arrived. The lodge we stayed in was right next to the road, there was alot of traffic noise, this didn't effect our stay though.
- Lauren (10/5): Such a lovely stay! - This is the perfect little place for an overnight stay! We can’t wait to go back again and maybe even try out one of the other cabins. Loved the bathtub outside on the decking. The whole place was so clean and tidy. N/a
