• Nicholas (9/5): - Charming host.Comfortable apartment located at basement level.Steep stairs have to be negotiated to reach the accomodation and 60 stairs to the very spectacular rooftop.Should be no problem for most people but rather difficult for the elderly. Flat is spacious,absolutely clean with all amenities. For anyone who has difficulty negotiating stairs this is unfortunately not the ideal choice.
• Vedrana (10/5): - Uživali smo. Prekrasan i čist apartman. Prostran i pomno uređen. Nalazi se u suterenu, ali udoban je i ima dosta svijetla i osjećate se sigurno. Parking na slijepoj ulici ispred apartmana. Doslovno ste prvi susjed Partenonu što je nevjerojatno. Možete koristiti terasu s pogledom na Akropolu i čuti glazbu sa šetališta. Na 5 minuta pješice po šetalištu imate do ulaza u Akropolu. Doslovno boravite na pragu povijesti. Impresivno. Domaćin je jako ljubazan, da vam sve informacije i korisne preporuke. Ostavi vam namirnice i vodu dok ne odete u nabavku. Osjetili smo dobrodošlicu i toplinu doma. Sve atrakcije su vam par minuta pješice. A hop on busevi su odlični za dalje relacije.

• Diane (10/5): My best rental ever and I have travelled a lot - Breakfast was not included in the rental agreement and the owner, Emilio, did leave us so much food to eat.....yogurt, eggs, a full snack basket, coffee, teas, jams, crackers etc....the bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious Honestly, nothing to say here
• Mg (10/5): Attention, comfort, location and phenomenal view - Owner extremely attentive, friendly and concerned about our comfort. In addition to having a very close view of Pathernon in Akropolis, from a private terrace above the building. Everything was excellent. There's nothing negative to say. The only comment I could make would be: a little smell of cigarette smoke near the apartment door.
• Peter (10/5): Very convenient location from which to explore Athens. - Our hosts were very friendly and made lots of great recommendations. They had provisioned the apartment with some drinks, snacks, laundry detergent etc so we didn't have to run immediately to the shops to pick everything up.
• Martha (7/5): Wonderful experience - Good location. Emilio’s was very accommodating and thoughtful Nice surprise bottle of chilled wine and water waiting for us. Snacks and fruits for first morning breakfast. Emilio’s even brought us a delicious authentic Greek dinner for our last night Beautiful daytime & nighttime views of the Acropolis from private terrace just across the way. Central to many sites in Athens

• Paul (9/5): Superb - Acropolis Gate accommodation has been the best possible start to our Greek adventure. Its in the perfect location for exploring the major sights of old Athens and Acropolis. The apartment is a cool quiet and comfortable respite from touring the city sights in the hot sun. From local grocery shops to a selection of restaurants everything is close and convenient. The hosts Emilios and Antigori have been considerate and welcoming and have thought of everything right down to a basket of food which we didn’t get through in our 3 day stay. The best part is at the end of the day taking wine olives dips cheese and cold meets up to the roof top to watch dusk descend on the Acropolis, Magic.
• Stefani (10/5): Exceptional - It was the perfect location, the perfect hosts, and the apartment was comfortable and cozy (perfect). Our family of 5 fit perfectly and had enough room where we weren't trampling each other. The rooftop terrace was a great spot for evening cocktail to relax and listen to locals play music near the acropolis. It was close to great restaurants that could walk to easily and the best location to get to the acropolis and plaka. Emilio and his wife met us at the location and provided details on everything. They were so gracious and helpful. It really made it feel like home. They sat down with us and mapped the area for us to give us all the info we needed. I've never had hosts so helpful and resourceful. The stay was perfect! If looking to explore the sights of Athens, this is the place to stay!

• Rob (10/5): Steps from the Acropolis, once in a lifetime stay with amazing hosts who will treat you like family. - The location is outstanding, literally steps from the Acropolis along a pedestrian-only street, across from the Odeon (outdoor theatre). We actually listened to a jazz concert one evening from the rooftop! The area is alive with activity but we never felt unsafe. Inside the property we were cool, quiet and safe. Many amazing bakeries, coffee shops, restaurants and markets are all within a short walking distance. The property itself is in the basement, and is relatively modern and comfortable for a family of four. The hosts are wonderful people who met us at the property to provide keys and many recommendations for food and entertainment. During our stay we actually had an emergency and they went WAY above and beyond to take of us! It was not something anyone should expect but they are truly incredible and kind people. Our stay was outstanding we HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Truly once in a lifetime stay! Nothing!
• Sharon (10/5): True rooftop view of Acropolis, super close to everything, spacious & beautiful, with lovely hosts! - There was so much we loved it's hard to narrow it down! The location literally could not have been closer to the Acropolis - quiet but a couple minutes walk to everything you could possibly do or need The rooftop deck was phenomenal - we could just go stare at the Acropolis any time of day or night. It was a downstairs "basement" apartment, but so spacious and airy and light and beautiful , with an outdoor sitting area, it did not feel below ground level. Super comfortable, every possible amenity, sleeping areas galore (a king bed, 2 twins, and three sofas that were extremely comfortable and could function for sleep). Hosts were lovely, met us in the apartment, had stocked up on food/drink basics plus, and were immediately responsive to any questions. I can't wait to come back! Nothing could have been better.
