Uitgebreide mail na reservaties met lange lijst beperkingen (inchecken enkel tussen 16u00 en 18u00, er mag NIETS gegeten worden op de kamer,…) Ontbijt pas vanaf 9u00 maar ten laatste voor 10u30 moet er worden uitgecheckt. Aansluiten op Wifi was niet mogelijk - geen assistentie om dit op te lossen. Zeer basic in voorzieningen; geen kleine attentie ter verwelkoming op de kamer, geen water, nespressomachine met slecht twee capsules. Moeilijke communicatie met host. Reageert erg laat of niet op bericht of telefoon.

Super comfortable bed. Breakfast each morning was unbelievable. Delicious, fresh, and the nicest presentation. You will have to stay and enjoy the breakfast to understand how next level lovely it is. • wesley (10/5): Heerlijk weekend in Brugge dankzij Mansion9 - De kamer is zeer proper en mooi. We hebben heerlijk geslapen. Het ontbijt simpelweg fantastisch! Het parkeren was wat onhandig met een parkeerschijf. Betaald was ook mogelijk, maar dat verschil in prijs is dan best behoorlijk.

• Alysia (10/5): Belgium luxury at its best - The decor is super luxurious. No expense spared. Firm comfortable mattress. Friendly staff. Breakfast was to die for. Belgium attention to detail is second to none. Would thoroughly recommend. A little further to walk out of town but overall worth the walk. English breakfast tea and a kettle would be great.

• Neil (10/5): Fantastic we will definitely be back - The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The host was friendly and helpful. The location was just out of the centre which was great for us just a 10 minute walk to the square. The breakfast was amazing without doubt the best continental breakfast I’ve ever had. We would definitely return and recommend to friends. Check in was very easy The only thing I could think of is that the pillows on the bed are a bit small for me and towels for the amazing shower also are a bit smalll
• Sladana (10/5): Chambre romantique proche du centre - Nous avons aimé la chambre spacieuse, la literie confortable, la décoration soignée, la propreté et l’élégance de cet établissement. La chambre est située à 15 min de marche du centre historique au calme. Le petit déjeuner est original et servi à table. Nous avons trouvé les conditions de Check in strictes, vous avez juste 2h de 16h à 18h. Si vous arrivez avant vous êtes facturés, si vous arrivez après vous êtes facturés d’un supplément. Pas de système de clé dans un boîtier et pas de souplesse sur les horaires. Il faut arriver strictement entre 16h et 18h donc à prendre en compte lors de la réservation.

La literie était particulièrement confortable et la salle de bain de très haute qualité de prestation. Il n’y a aucun accessoire dans la salle de bain ( mouchoirs, coton tige, coton). Pas de brosse wc présente. Verre à dent fêlé. Un accueil strictement professionnel sans chaleur ni convivialité.

• Vítězslav (9/5): Superb - The room was nice and it was just outside the historic center so it was quiet. The breakfasts were legendary, really good and plentiful with different specials every day. The landlady was really nice and helpful. I was worried about the food being forbidden in the room because I usually eat overnight and can't imagine not to have any snacks. But I think it is actually directed to takeaways, pizzas and such and not at milk or yoghurt or crisps. It should be stated clearly because "no food in the room" is little repelling.

• Arti (8/5): Beautiful stay but could do better - Absolutely beautiful property. The room was a great size and lovely decor. The check-in time is 4pm which we were notified of after booking and checkout time is very early at 10am. Further more, if you want to leave your luggage on arrival you need to ask in advance and it’s not guaranteed they will agree. Thankfully the property agreed to hold luggage prior to check in. When checking out we asked if we could leave our luggage, the host abruptly said no. Loved staying at the hotel but the lack of flexibility is a put off. Would have rated the B&B at 10 if it wasn’t for this.

• Brigitte (8/5): An exceptional townhouse style boutique hotel. Perfect for getaway. - Fabulous hotel room with beautiful decor. Breakfast was on a different scale it was incredible. What’s a lovely surprise and how well presented. Bathroom toiletries were a little sparse. Would have expected the basics such as body lotion and shower cap. Also, there was only one pillow on the bed for each.

Extra charges policy was a real stain on the stay Please do note that check in is only free between 4pm and 6pm. Afterwards, you pay. If you arrive between 6pm and 7pm: extra charge of 45 euro (almost 15% extra charge) Arrive between 7pm and 8pm: extra charge of 75 euro (almost 30% extra charge) This info was only CLEAR when you get booking confirmation. On the booking page, it only says on the checkin info "checkin between 4pm and 6pm". Not that there are high charges if you arrive later. (in our case 30 minutes) I phoned to let politely know we were late (traffic jam Brussels - Bruges on a Friday ), but no discussion. Owner even questioned why I didn't leave work earlier (job til 5pm in Zaventem).

The hotel is perfectly placed for a visit to Bruges, it is about a 10 minute walk from the centre. I cannot think how it could be improved, everything was just perfect!

• Francis (5/5): Beautiful property, but it's like staying at your strict aunt's house, where you don't feel at home. - Small B&B located outside the city center. The property is immaculate, with well-appointed bedrooms and a superb breakfast. It’s a pleasant 25-minute walk to the city center. While there’s no parking at the property, it is located in a blue zone where you can park for up to 4 hours for free between 09:00 and 18:00. Inflexible check-in time. Check-in is only allowed between 16:00 and 18:00. After this timeframe, there is a late check-in fee of €45. I had never encountered this before, so it was a shock when we were informed about the penalty, especially since it was never mentioned that there would be a financial repercussion for being late (in our case, by 50 minutes). We were staying here with friends, so luckily, we could share the fine that was imposed. This incident, right at the start of our stay, left a very bitter aftertaste to our experience. There are no restaurants nearby. We paid €254 for one night (plus the late check-in penalty fee), which I think is expensive considering the property is not located in the city center and lacks the extra amenities that other similarly priced properties offer. You are not allowed to eat in the bedroom for hygiene reasons. The toiletries provided are minimal—just two small tubes of hair/shower gel and a small bar of soap. Bring your own lotion.

Within minutes, you can walk to the belfry and explore some of Brugge's streets. The rooms are cozy and decorated to reflect Brugge's atmosphere. Finally, the daily breakfast was delicious.

• Emily (10/5): Better than a 5* hotel - What a gem of a find this place is! Everything, and I mean everything was just perfect. Free on street parking if you are driving ( just ask the host for a parking permit) the room, I've stayed in some 5 star hotels and this room was even better than those, and as for the breakfast 😍😍....I won't spoil the surprise incase you stay, but WOW!! The location is a flat and easy 10 minute walk from the central main square. Elsy the host is kind, helpful and a wonderful host. We are already organising our next trip to Bruges and we will definitely be staying here for sure. I challenge you to find better accommodation in Bruges. Absolutely nothing, just wish we had booked to stay longer! Trust me, you won't want to leave

The breakfast is outstanding, so delicious and went beyond all our expectations. Our room was very comfortable and clean Location very easy, 10 min walk to market square where you can find restaurants shops etc. We would definitely recommend and will definitely book again in future. Nothing we didnt like. Only suggestion would be , to have an option of a second pillow.

The pastries were fresh, and there was so much attention to detail. The egg toast dish that Elsy made was so delicious - I really need the recipe! The room was very spacious. I wish I stayed longer than one night!
