Guest Reviews
- Ulrike (10/5): Lovely apartement with fantastic view. - A lovely, well-equipped apartment with a fantastic view. It was spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable. Everything was great and Natalie, the host, was very attentive.
- Mike (9/5): Excellent cottage in a perfect location. - Location was excellent. Central to areas of interest and a beautiful setting. The cottage was fitted with everything needed and very comfortable. Loved the outlook from the little conservatory and patio. The bathroom had an automatic light which switched on with movement in the bathroom - an awakening shock in the middle of the night! Otherwise everything was excellent.
- Ruthie19 (10/5): A perfect getaway away for the single traveller or couple. - A beautifully converted garage, which is now a perfect getaway for one or two people. A well equipped kitchen and bathroom and comfortable bedroom. Parking for one or two cars in front of the property. The patio at the rear had beautiful views over surrounding fields. Delightful hosts who allowed guests privacy. The lounge area was very functional if a bit small.
- Kiani (10/5): Exactly what we were hoping for. - It was exceptionally clean, cosy and homely. The hosts were very accommodating and the location was charming. Nothing.
- Blendulf (9/5): - Beautiful views and lovely, comfortable cottage.
- Sandy Ang (10/5): Everything necessary for a comfortable, relaxing self-catering stay. Wished i could stay longer. - meadow view is perfectly appointed f comfortable stay. the kitchen is well equiped to cook dinner every night. little details like sharp knives, grater, can opener, even soy sauce makes cooking easy. i appreciate that recycling bins are provided. the bathroom is generously sized and instant hot water meant lovely showers every time. having a washing machine is so convenient. on cool nights, i could turn on the heater and the rooms warm up quickly. parking right at the door step is fantastic. other touches like full length mirror, clothes hangers, throw blanket makes it feel homely.
the sunroom is a bonus. it's always warm. the large windows face the beautiful open landscape and a very private lawn area. it's like having the outdoors indoors. the view is expansive and the skies go on forever. i was lucky to stay during a full moon and seeing it over the landscape was very special. i should also mention that instead of sheep or cows, there were white ponies in the field. they come quite close and i love watching them.
it is a very quiet, peaceful location. although the owners were fitting out another holiday unit, i never heard any construction noise - they were very thoughtful to preserve the tranquility. it's only 5mins drive from A40 and st davids, bosherston, manorbier and marlos are all within 45mins drive.
checking in and out is a breeze. natalie was there to sort out any questions (like how the bathroom lights work on sensor). she was also very helpful with local recommendations like foraging activity and walks. it was very nice to be allowed a later departure time so i didn't have to rush packing and could have a leisurely breakfast. i am thankful because i know there was another guest checking in on the same day and cleaning has to be done. nothing really. it is in a rural location so it's realistic to expect farm smells occasionally if you go out onto the patio.

- Katrina (10/5): Perfect getaway to sit and look out to the view and lose yourselves for a few days - Everything we could need was in this little stay, over looking wonderful views of the countryside. Nothing
- Susan (9/5): A little gem in the heart of Pembrokeshire. - Meadow View made us a cosy little home for a week. A really quiet and peaceful location with stunning views. Its location was ideal for exploring Pembrokeshire in all directions. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you need. It’s small but a great use of the available space. We loved sitting in the sun room in the evening even though it got a little cool after sunset - blankets to wrap up in provided! Our hosts were very welcoming and accommodating responding quickly to any queries. Front door key a bit tricky to use.
Blown window in sunroom door slightly spoilt the view.
We found the sofa a bit too low and soft- but that’s because we are an older couple!
- Robbie (10/5): Exceptional - It was a fantastic ,cosy, warm cottage with great facilities . Well equipped kitchen, washing machine, sunroom, and spectacular rural views. Very quiet location and comfy bed and all scrupulously clean.
- Shirin (7/5): Spacious cottage with Beautiful Views - Very nicely decorated and spacious. The cottage had beautiful views and the host provided some milk for coffee/tea, as well as a folder with lots of interesting tipps for sights, etc. The bathroom needs some work. Mould on the shower heads and grout. Could do with a shelf to store things on, to make the stay more comfortable. The bathroom light is motion activated and turns on/off randomly.
- Amanda (8/5): Very good -
- Skigh (10/5): The best place we have stayed in a while - We loved our stay at meadow cottage. The cottage was perfect and even had little touches left for us to make our stay more comfortable. The gentleman that greeted us and said goodbye to us was so friendly and attentive, we felt so comfortable. The view was unbelievable and we enjoyed visiting the surrounding areas. That we didn’t stay for longer :)
