My 2 year old loved the view of the trains from the front window The property is pet friendly and while it was extremely clean, it did still trigger my allergies

• Angela (10/5): - The locality, not far from the beach and town. Everything we needed forvour stay. Clean and comfortable apartment. Only one parking spot but we manged to park in a space on the road at the back. Sofas were a little low to get out of but comfy. Kitchen window didn't open, needs loosening. And thats me being picky, nothing we didn't like about our stay, would reccomend it.

• Senior (7/5): - Location is spot on, everything is in walking distance, nice apartment, good size for a family, dedicated parking Sofa needs replacing, if you're stuck inside due to the weather then sadly you'll be disappointed with the comfort, also, don't expect a hot bath because the hot water tap is thermostatically restricted to what is luke warm temperature, the shower over bath is a mixer tap and is either red hot or cold, I did notify the maintenance team but they were not interested and never attended to fix the issue so I'm really disappointed with this as 3 people could not have a bath during our stay, that is poor really!
• Slee-Lamb (9/5): Pleasant and fairly comfortable. Very close to all an the town. - Could not use the bath or shower as it was too high to get into, being a short person.
• Janette (10/5): Fantastic Filey Flat - perfect for our little family getaway - The location was excellent, very close to the beach, town centre and train station. The apartment was so much more spacious than expected and extremely cosy and comfortable. Everything we needed was there and more, the complimentary biscuits/tea/coffee were a lovely gesture too - we very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend for a family break, our children loved it!

• John (9/5): Well located, convenient and clean. - Location great.Everything we needed. Clean Sofa too low and squashy so hard to get up from after hip operation. Bed too low and soft( for us) Big bathroom would fit a proper shower.

• Michael (8/5): Very good - The apartment is conveniently located with a large supermarket nearby, and within easy walking distance of the town centre and beach. Off street parking is a bonus. Also within easy reach of Flamborough Head and Bempton Cliffs, which was our reason for staying.

• Peter (10/5): Enjoyable and relaxing.. - Location handy for the train and bus stations for visits out of town, nice quiet town , nice walks and food and drinks, dicky bees fish and chips shop near to the star pub absolutely wonderful.. It's a shame there isn't a few outside chairs in front of the building, it would be nice to sit in the sun and just watch the world pass by for short periods.we bring our little terrier with us and take her for short walks all the time..not allowed on the lawns though..😔

• Ian (6/5): A disappointing stay in an apartment which could be very attractive with some care and attention. - The property was in a good location and easily accessed, apart from the faulty light in the hallway, which meant we had to use a torch to see the key safe, and to unlock the door. It was reasonably well equipped, and the beds were comfortable. We appreciated the Xmas decorations in the lounge/diner - a nice touch. This could be a very attractive apartment if certain aspects were changed or improved. Our first impressions were marred by the lack of lighting in the hallway, and the Arctic temperature in the apartment. We have not encountered this in our recent short breaks in other properties. It took us a while to fathom the heating system and bring the place up to a comfortable temperature. It was also very cold in the mornings before we altered the settings again. The sofas were low and not very comfortable, and badly positioned for watching the TV. Also, we were rather shocked to find just one very cheap toilet roll in the bathroom (or was it even a full roll?) and a mere finger of cheap handwash which had been diluted! The bathroom was very roomy, but there was nowhere to put our wash bags. And not having mixer taps on the washbasin is bizarre in 2024.

Quieter than I thought it would be. Only 5 mins to walk into Filey. Lovely and clean and loads of facilities. Would visit again. The sink plug in the bathroom didn't seem to work properly. There were a few spiders in my sisters room!
• Roger (9/5): Superb - Everything thing was top quality. Very clean and comfortable. 9 out of 10 Not sure about the sink and the way the plug system worked Had a problem on the first night with the bath water which wasn't very hot. After that the water was fine and no problems.

• Robert (8/5): This is a great apartment and if the little niggles were sorted it would be perfect. - A great location with parking too. Bed extremely comfy and a powerful shower. Specious and well equipped. Good choice of tv programmes. We found the sofa uncomfortable and the futon only suitable for one person to sit on due to its badly worn seat. Not great for evening tv watching. A shame the windows were very dirty. Also the plug in the washbasin doesn’t work.
