• Sophie (7/5): Good - In a good location 15 min walk from golden temple. Staff were friendly and helpful and responded to our request for clean sheets. Shower was hot, room was spacious. However the sheets clearly hadn’t been changed, crusty marks on the sheet and on pillow. Also bathroom was not clean, the toilet was a bit dirty so unsure if they clean the room inbetween guests. Okay for a couple nights

Went out of the way to help us with auto services as we couldn't avail ride hailing services like OLA or Uber due to protests in the neighborhood. Also called to inform us about the things we left behind and had offered to courier it. Not many would do that. Will definitely recommend the stay at Namans. It's in close proximity to Golden Temple and Jallianwala Bagh The washroom could have been cleaner. No qualms otherwise. Available for the best affordable price

• Oishi (9/5): Nice stay with super helpful hosts - Location is good. The host and staffs were very humble and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and hot water was always available. Towels could have been cleaner. We booked a bedroom for 3 but it was a bit congested. The washroom and room walls were not that clean.

• Sebastian (10/5): Clean, comfortable, and great value for money. - Rooms are clean and modern, and for the price they represent very good value. The host brothers were so kind and courteous, always willing to help out. They took care of an early morning taxi for me as well as laundry. The home stay is away from the main road, so it’s relatively quiet and avoids the worst of the traffic noise. Naman Homestay is a great option to stay in Amritsar. Thank you. 🙏🏻 For the price, there was nothing to dislike.

• Ajanabh (7/5): Good - The owner and the helping staff were very friendly and helpful. The owner was kind enough to give us a very early check in as we reached well before time. I would also like to specially mention Mr. Dilpreet Singh our driver for the trip arranged by the hotel. He is a gem of a person, skilled driver and a great entertainer. The hygiene could have been better. A little effort can make this property a 10/10 budget stay.

• Karen (8/5): Simple guesthouse - OK location - Homestay was set in a quietish side road (dogs were outside barking). Nice double room with fan and AC. It seems fairly new. They will provide meals for you if required. Laundry was charged per item, not kg, so it s quite pricey. Tv only had YouTube. Note that this homestay is advertised as 2 mins from a Golden Temple, but it s not THE Golden Temple, which is about 15 mins walk away.

I’m a very hygienic person ,I find this place not very clean for me ,as it was dusty and there were hair in the drawers 😪😓,I’m very sensitive especially wen comes to this things ,bathroom was also not very clean .i didn’t inform staff because it was just a short stay for us and we were outside most of the time .

• C.v.mangal (10/5): BEST PLACE TO STAY WITH FAMILY AT VERY REASONABLE PRICE - Very neat and clean room and wash room. AC was so powerful, we can adjust as per our comfort. The owner and room boy are very polite and cooperative in nature. Very good place to stay with family. Food is also very tasty. Cleanliness, safety, behaviour of staff and food.

The bathroom was fresh and clean. Wifi was fast and stable. Close to great eats and a short stroll to the Golden Temple. All this said, the best thing about this establishment was the staff. We experienced an unbelievable level of service and attention to hospital. Jass and the team were beyond helpful. They offered knowledgable, independent information about the area and were swift to attend to any of our requests. Jass went out of his way to help us find colour printing for our next destination visas. So wonderful!

Wifi doesn't work properly and the location is not good you have to take auto to visit any tourist place even golden temple is far away from this location so that I didn't like and I think they are charging more for the rooms and even for the food rooms are small not shown as in pictures.

He made all necessary arrangements, and was very kind in all his interactions. The hotel's location is great - with the Golden Temple and Jallianwala Bagh very close, and a lot of restaurants just around the hotel. The rooms are clean with warm water as well.
