- Jonny (5/5): - They cancelled for me free of charge, thank you My friends arrived to a room that wasn’t cleaned (food in sink etc)

- Simona (9/5): - I loved staying at Saigon Hideout.
It's a lovely place in a lively neighborhood where you can experience real local life while being in the city centre, but far from the noisy streets.
The room is cozy and taken care of. Some extra shelves in the bathroom, as well as an extra chair in the room might be helpful.

- Shayna (10/5): - Overall a great little place! Decor was nice, mini fridge and kettle are great, and the bathroom is an ok size. Maybe not the best location as a tourist just arriving in HCMC. Nothing wrong with it, it's just a little outside the more lively and nice streets. Still easy to find and accessible to public transit though.
- Linh (10/5): -
- Nathaniel (9/5): - Homey and so easy to get in. The staff were great and helpful. Bathroom was great. My room was a tiny bit dark with not much sunlight but not much of an issue at all as lighting was nice and ambient which I loved
- Diệu (10/5): -
- Leila (10/5): -
- Kóbor (10/5): - The location was really good, as it was in the calmer part of the city centre. The room had everything in it and probably more. The bed was comfortable and spacious. The water pressure was not the strongest, but not a big problem whatsoever.
- Ha (10/5): - Clean, well kept, all the facilities you'd generally need. The location is also extremely convenient being only 10-15 min away from many many major tourist attractions and landmarks of the city. Had a great stay here!
- Dandy (5/5): - Bedding was comfortable, location decent, not too expensive, staff friendly. - Got multiple messages asking for the same information on Booking and Whatsapp before arrival which was irritating.
- We were given wrong room info and walked into someone else’s room while they were in bed. I understand mistakes happen but we then had the code to that room. The room codes are all basically the same so would be very easy for someone else in the building to go into someone else’s room which didn’t feel secure at all.
- Room was very small, looked quite worn. The headboard was falling off the wall.
- Projector didn’t work properly. The staff did say they could come and fix it but were only able to come at times that didn’t suit us.
- There was extremely loud construction noise (drills and hammering) in the building next door from 7:30AM each morning which was really disruptive.
Merci beaucoup !
- Thomas (10/5): Excellent value for short stay in HCMC. - Very cozy, super simple check in process and located in a great area but off the main road so you’re not disturbed by any noise. Excellent value for money too.
Lydt

- Sabô (3/5): Short and unpleasent - The room was in a good location and all in all well equipped. For the price we didn‘t have high expectations so we weren‘t shocked that it wasn‘t extremly clean but it was ok. However we found a cockroach in the bathroom which can be common in vietnam, but we are very senstitive since they can be a health hazard so we texted the owner. A woman came and killed it but we still didn‘t want to stay in the apartement and weren‘t offered a different room, so we left After 10 minutes and booked another hotel. We didn‘t get a refund wich is ok since the laws regarding pests in vietnam are a bit different, it would have been nice anyways.

- Thu Trang (10/5): Money worth. Quite neighborhood - Location was good. Not too close to the crowd and I enjoy the walk around the neighborhood. Lots of good food and cafes My room didnot have a window and the room was a bit small but it makes sense cause it’s Sai Gon
- Thuc (10/5): - A big shout out for Bảo the super host, also for the team. My perfect days in Saigon started here. I cannot recommend the place enough. The home offers everything you would ask for: perfect location, warm and welcoming atmosphere, clean and tidy room, affordable price, and last but not least: a team of helpful, attentive, hospitable staffs. Definitely the best choice for my next trips to Saigon.
- Cherry Lyn (9/5): - Self check in. Location and good customer service.
- Cherry Lyn (9/5): - Customer service and location. The exhaust fan inside the comfort was not working.
- Khánh Huyền (10/5): - Qúa tuyệt vời và chủ home hỗ trợ nhiệt tình! Mình sẽ quay lại khi có dịp.
- Hải (9/5): Ok - Ok Ok
- Angeliki (9/5): Nice place in Saigon - I liked the aesthetics of the room, we had a projector where we would Watch movies in Netflix every night. We had a problem with the bed that was resolved fast. The location is good, not much noise except for the vendors that pass which is normal. Many cafes around, very near the district 1, we did wash our laundry for free. No need for keys because they have a code system. Totally recommend the place We needed a little more space to put our stuff and we used the bathtub

- Jacek (10/5): - Great.
- Samuel (10/5): Genuinely felt like a little hideout in HCMC - The room was super comfy and clean, the staff very helpful, and the location was excellent. It's also a very quiet and peaceful room for the heart of HCMC. Just make sure you follow their check-in instructions PDF from the main road and you'll find it just fine. :))) No complaints!
- Nick (7/5): - Location. Host is quick to respond. The room is too small for a stay longer than couple of days. To get to the room, you need to climb a narrow stairway. The street where this homestay is located is narrow so sometimes taxis cant get there. Not convenient for travelers with luggage.

- Réka (8/5): Good - Very good communication with the host. Check in went well, the room is clean and neatly done. There was a problem with air-conditioning, so I sweat the whole night (no windows, no fresh air)
It's not the hosts fault, but I really hated the windowless situation, felt like in prison. The small room I can't recommend for longer stay.
- Thi Hong Hoa (10/5): - Great location. Comfortable apartments and great support. We recommend to all to stay.

Bref, reposant.
- Rajat (10/5): Beautiful stay. - I loved this property. Clean, chill place to stay. Self checkin without any problem. Everything is pretty straightforward. I would like to mention about the host Hannah.. she is just so helpful and lovely person. For early checkin she let me stay in other spare for sometime. Such level of kindness hard to see. Thanks! Na. She could have said yes for the coffee together. Just kidding. :). Everything was perfect.

- Varjitha (10/5): - As a solo woman traveler, I felt completely safe.
The location, the hospitality—everything was just perfect.
Truly loved my stay 🤍 Nothing
- Brendan (10/5): - The manager Hannah was an absolute delight.Very helpful and full of information.
- Caroline (8/5): Great location, great staff - The location in a quiet alley was great as everything seemed to be a 30-40minute walk away which suited us well. Hannah’s communication was exceptional, we encountered some issues with the shower during our stay, and whilst frustrating she really couldn’t have done more and this really compensated for the fact we couldn’t shower for 2 days (thank goodness we had the room with the bath!) The room is considerably more tired than the pictures show and there was limited space for any kind of unpacking.
- Robert (10/5): Great! - A great place and very affordable compared to other similar options in Saigon. The wifi was good enough for my work and the hot water worked really well in the bath. Host was super friendly too. Nothing.
- Mai Anh (10/5): Very lovely - Best service from everyone we met during our stay. Hannah was super accommodating and friendly. We left HCM for 3 days and they let us leave 3 of our big luggages in their staff room, of course they are safe and sound. You can even have a laundry service right downstairs, just ask! Every door has really good security. You have a projector in the room with access to Netflix and stuff. Overall it's definitely worth what you pay for!
- Pimyada Julie (8/5): - Great location, close to all the activities but street is very quite and local. Beds weren’t the most comfortable but for 2 nights and the price I really can’t complain
- Jef (8/5): -

- An (10/5): - The location was perfect — close to everything but still quiet at night. It’s hard to find a place this convenient in District 1
- Ni (10/5): Good - Vị trí thuận tiện , thích
- Todd (6/5): -
- Karl-Kristjan (10/5): -
- Charlotte (7/5): Good - Hannah was absolutely lovely, she made our anniversary so special by adding some special touches and organising a few things for me to surprise my fiancé with in the room. The room had everything we needed and the few issues we did have, Hannah organised help to fix them straight away. Thank you so much, Hannah! We would definitely stay again.
- Arthur (1/5): If you have luggage or have difficulty climbing stairs, DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL. NEVER AGAIN - not so expensive price but not cheap at all there is no elevator, and we had to climb 4 floors carrying our heavy bags. the hotel DID NOT DISCLOSE that they have no lift, so this place IS NOT FOR SENIOR CITIZENS or people with disability. and there is no hotel staff to help you with heavy luggage. Also, this is the only hotel where i had to carry a jug of WATER from the ground floor to my room as there was no water flowing from our faucets on our first night at Saigon Hideout. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. I have photos and video as proof. The walkway to Saigon Hideout from the main road is narrow and dirty (i have pictures of this), and the walkway cannot fit a taxi so you have to walk from the main road to the gate of Saigon hideout. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE.
- Galloway (10/5): excellent vibes - I stayed in the room with the bath, and it was so beautiful inside. the member of staff who managed my booking was Hannah, who was exceptional, she let me use the washing machine. She also spent a long time on the phone with vietjair as there was an issue with my flight details, which she fixed!!
- Nevin (9/5): Worth every penny, I’ll do it again. - I was looking for a place away from the city but calm to be and like the name said it was a hideout. I loved the aesthetics and facilities in the room. Being a solo traveller with no clue on language I was well assisted during my stay period. Manager, Hannah was really helpful along the stay with all the help to roam around the places around and I’d say if you are looking for a stay in the high rise hotel to be easily accessible to places this isn’t the place for you. Only if you are after a calm hideout with less noise and cozy stay go for it. It is more like an Airbnb!
- Christopher (10/5): Great stay with a lovely host! - Really cosy space in a great location. Hannah gave us great recommendations and made us feel right at home!
- Nha (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic holiday
- G.w.m. (7/5): Good - Good, clean room and bed, nicely decorated. Warm welcome note on the wall. Very good deal. Everything you need. Beamer! From 1am on and the next morning, there was no water. Cleaning ladies received the message (about the water) with a smile, but offered no excuse nor solution.
After your booking you receive a mail with a paying request. After paying you get a code for entering the building and your room.
Bit hard to find: take the Hem right of the Gold shop. At the end, turn right. Your stay is a few houses further, on the left side. Nice, small and lively street.
- Alžbeta (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hannah (10/5): Amazing apartment homestay! - We had a fantastic experience here! We had our own private room, it was like our home away from home. Hannah was so welcoming and helpful, providing us with everything we needed and looking after our luggage on our final day in Ho Chi Minh City. Very grateful! Thank you Hannah!
- Ethan (10/5): Exceptional - Nigel apartment is very central with lots to do and see around HCM very close by. He was very attentive and always checking in to see if everything is okay. Can't fault the place. Great central apartment for the price.
- Diane (10/5): A very good place to stay for my first visit in Ho Chi Minh - The place was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable too. The location is very convenient, it's just a 2-3 min walk away from the bus stop going to the center. It's also safe since it's just near a police division. There's a nearby store where you could buy water and some snacks too, and some walking distance restaurants. Most of all the owner was very thoughtful, kind and accommodating, she was very responsive with all my queries. She even helped prepare the surprise for my birthday, it was really sweet of her. The caretaker is very nice and helpful too. Overall, I had a comfortable stay.I would definitely go back here if I visit HCM again.
- Jasmine (6/5): Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Budget-friendly so I would recommend. - I liked the bed, it was very comfy. I also liked the projector as television, I think that was e very cool touch. I slept well when we were there. They have a cool AC, toiletries, a mini fridge and some other amenities. The neighbors were friendly and there is a nice coffee shop around the corner that serves good vietnamese coffee. The hosts were very responsive and the staff was friendly as well. It was hard to find on google maps, we rented out a motorbike so it was fast to get there. Our room was on the top floor and we had 3 luggages, it was hard and tiring as the staircase is sooooo small. The shower placement was weird. I also booked this place particularly for the free breakfast but no breakfast was served. When we checked-in, there were some damages in the room, but I let the hosts know and they sent a man to repair it. Apparently, they encourage guests not to write bad or fair reviews which is probably why there was none when I booked it.
- Uri (3/5): Small, Remote and Bad Check-In Procedure - This is a room in an apartment building so it's private.
The room is cute.
The shower was good. 1. Difficult to find. no sign over the door. the address is not of the building but of an alley.
2. The door codes are only given after payment, but there is no option to pay beforehand. so after I found the place I had to contact the manager through the Internet (for which I had to buy a sim card).
After waiting outside for 20 minutes in the rain, the manager finally answered and told me I had to pay before I can get the code, so I had to find my credit card and pay through the phone while standing sweating in the rain outside the building.
Then my credit card company didn't approve the transaction, so I had to change sim cards so they would be able to send me an SMS to confirm I am the one doing the transaction.
Very bad check-in procedure. and all this could have been avoided if they would have given me the option to pay the day before in the comfort of my hotel, and get the code and instructions then.
3. The location is very bad. nothing around, so need taxi just to go out to eat or buy something at a convenience store.
4. Very small room. smaller than it looks in the picture, and smaller than 25m, which is stated in the booking page.
5. The curtains don't block light from outside.
6. Can be noisy at times (neighbours, construction, traffic)
7. Very bad lighting in bathroom make it impossible to see something in the mirror.
8. A bathtub in the middle of the room makes the small room even smaller.
Many places around Bui Vien are better and cost less.
- Igor (1/5): Like in a Jail - The place in the city is good Don't ever try to book a room without a balcony. It is a room without any window for the same price. Here i felt like in a basement, i don't really understand if it is night or day, just like in a jail in a punishment cell.
No stuff, no hostes, just code on your dorr and number, that never asks. Only whatsapp that says you, it is your choice, we won't back your money.
You can stay here or not.
You can't check the room before you get in. Pay first, receive your door lock code, and feel yourself like a prisoner...
It was the worst hotel i ever was...
- Shum (6/5): Pleasant -
- Romy (5/5): Problematic communication, decent stay - Aircon was good and the room was simple but okay for the price. The owner seemed nice over text The communication was very bad. First off the wrong address and phone number was on booking. We had to enter the building with a code to the door and room, but we wouldn’t have known this is we didn’t exhaust every option to get into contact with the owner. Location was far from all the good restaurants and the busy center. The room also did not look like the pictures, and definitely could have been a bit more clean.
- Khanh (3/5): Poor -
- Amy (5/5): Unorganised staff and bit far out from everything - The room was nicely decorated and bath was lovely. There were still eyelashes on the mirror that hadn’t been cleaned. Mosquitos were constantly in the room and the host was very rude.
