• Judith (10/5): It was relaxing. A great place to unwind, - We loved the location close to good places to eat if we wanted to go out. Alternatively the facilities were fantastic if we had decided to cater for ourselves. It was quiet and a stones throw from the sea! We loved everything about the Bijou Bolthole!

• Philip (10/5): A little gem in a wonderful setting. - The location is wonderful, within a few yards of the harbour and a view of it straight out the kitchen window -the owners couldn’t be more helpful, and looking at the other smaller properties in Mousehole, it’s not that bijou! We had a lovely week, and would be delighted to come back.

• Lorraine (1/5): Bad - As we never found the place we really can’t give much positive feedback. We couldn’t find the property when we arrived and so had to stay in another hotel. It was a huge disappointment for us.
• Laura (9/5): A lovely treat mini break - Location, cosy, modern, clean, comfortable Minor improvements - feather pillows not comfy, very warm at night, could have left a squeedgy in shower to get rid of water, courtyard chairs very heavy to move.

• Linsey-anne (10/5): One of our best holiday locations loved our time here. - Lovely quiet central location with glimpses of the harbour from our apartment. Mousehole is quaint picturesque harbour village but it has a quiet relaxed feel but plenty of good places to eat and so many beautiful walks nearby. Host very helpful in responding to our questions. The apartment can only be approached by car from the south. The GPS code given by the host takes you to a street parallel to the place and once in this spot our internet drops out so it was difficult to find. The 3 word code was helpful but more information would help perhaps a map on the instructions.The parking is a bit tricky but manageable.

• Robin (10/5): Perfect place for a memorable stay in Mousehole - Brilliant location in the stunning village of Mousehole, waking up to the sunrise over the sea and the sound of waves. The accommodation was 5-star - beautifully finished and well equipped for a luxurious stay. It was also the perfect place to spend a relaxing evening after a long day of walking the South West Coastal Path with a comfy sofa and TVs upstairs and downstairs with lots of channels and apps.

Perfectly appointed with clean, modern decor - it’s got everything you need - including 2 storey views, an outdoor patio…even an in suite washer/dryer combo! Warning: You won’t want to leave!
• Miranda (8/5): Lovely house in a super little village. Make sure you have £1 coins for car park! - Lovely houselet. Kitchen was well equipped. Everything was tidy and clean and comfortable. Bedroom was spacious and comfortable. Sofa was cozy and comfortable. Telly had Sky on it so we were able to watch the stuff we watch at home! Love Mousehole! Needs a proper bathroom mirror, a mirror near a socket would be good too. Needs brighter lighting in the bathroom. Pillows are too squishy - head just went down to the bed! A light in the passage from street would be helpful. Sofa was a bit small, would be good to have slightly larger one if possible.

The view of the gorgeous island and the water from the bedroom is something I adored. The sunsets are enchanting, and the location couldn't be better. There are lots of cafes close by. • Debra (10/5): A perfect retreat in a wonderful fishing village - The cottage is perfect for a stay in Mousehole, easy to get around, and walk to the various eating establishments, highly recommend the Ship inn for dinner. The cottage was well equipped warm comfortable spotlessly clean easy to find, Emma hlour hist was incredible and recommended various places to visit like a secret beach 😉 just perfect. Watch the parking in the harbour areas, we were leaving and found a £100 parking fine on our car due to my two front wheels being over the white line, another visitor had one for their ticket being the wrong way up. Park perfectly and you'll be fine, £5.00 for 24 hours is good value though so can't complain really.
