• Rinske (9/5): Geweldig! Met een grote G! - De vriendelijke ontvangst, gastvrijheid, de rust, het heerlijke ontbijt, het fantastische diner en de prachtige locatie en omgeving.

Zeer mooie finca, waar de rust je overvalt (zalig). Ook mooie wandelingen in de omgeving mogelijk. Marc was een zeer vriendelijke gastheer, zijn partner Madelon was er even tussenuit.

• yolanda (6/5): Desilusionados con el trato recibido - La habitación es muy bonita y el entorno espectacular en medio de las montañas, paz y tranquilidad absolutas. El baño y la ducha funcionan perfectamente así como el aire acondicionado, en nuestro caso calor, ya que en esta época del año aún hace frío de noche y la habitación estaba fría. La parte exterior estaba un poco descuidada, si bien es cierto que no la íbamos a utilizar porque nos llovió, el mobiliario está muy deteriorado. La ubicación es muy bonita, pero también está muy lejos de cualquier pueblo o ciudad que se quiera visitar, horas en coche, pero si es para estar allí sin salir es bonito. A la llegada ya nos avisaron que no había restaurante, imagino estaba en obras, también sobre que hora llegaríamos, yo avisé pero cuando llegamos allí no había nadie, solo un perro. Respecto a las reseñas del desayuno en nuestro caso no son del todo buenas, prefiero calidad a cantidad, escaso y poco agradable a la vista, además el primer día no nos dieron desayuno porque teníamos que madrugar y claro, ellos no se iban a levantar pronto, el segundo día bien, hasta nos ofrecieron huevos, pero el tercero ya hubieron malas caras.. ahora os cuento porqué: En una finca que no había absolutamente nadie más, sólo Marc y su suegro, un señor muy mayor que no hablaba nada de español, además que ni esperaban a nadie, justo después de desayunar nos vino el dueño a la habitación a echarnos literalmente y que pagáramos ya porque se tenía que ir a jugar a paddel.. muy lamentable, aún así nos dimos muchísima prisa y en 15 minutos nos duchamos e hicimos la maleta, vamos, nos echó de allí, cuando no había nadie más que tuviese que entrar, dejó los productos de limpieza fuera de la habitación y se largó. No me gustó nada ese trato, nos quedamos muy desilusionados y enfadados, no es trato a clientes, no deben estar acostumbrados a españoles pero les recuerdo que su negocio está en España.

• Nadja (8/5): Beautiful stay surrounded by nature - The location of the house is amazing, surrounded by nature and very quiet. it is about 1h drive from Malaga and it is worth the drive. We loved that the house is on the hill and you can look in every direction. Our room had a balcony where we spent some evenings watching the sunset. During the summer months the pool area should be nice and there are plenty of space to sunbathe and to relax in the sun. The style of the room is simple, reflecting the nature of the location through natural materials and colours. It is simple and tasteful, but not chic. Some elements seem to still be in progress. But generally comfortable. The shower was great with really strong water pressure. The breakfast was good, healthy, with plenty of options to choose from. The dinner in the restaurant exceeded any expectations we might have had. The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxed. The food was amazing with very modern menu. Good selection of wine and many other options. Quite a gem! Our hosts were lovely! Friendly, helpful and kind people. We would love to come again during the summer months. The house is not really suitable for the colder months. We were there in March and on some nights it was very cold. There is no real heating, and the air conditioner does not really help to heat up the space. The sealing is quite high with the aircon up above the door, so all the warmth stays up in the air, not down where you are. It is an open room with the open shower and toilet. There is a door to the toilet but it is still quite an open arrangement, in case this is important for you. The warm water might run out if several people shower in the morning. But that only happened once. Most of these things are not really negative, but rather down to your personal preference.

• Floor (9/5): Ontspannend verblijf met heerlijk eten! - We hebben ontzettend genoten van ons verblijf! Het ontbijt is iedere ochtend lekker, vers en gevarieerd. Het restaurant in het weekend is echt fantastisch en de plek sfeervol, een aanrader! Er is een honesty bar: wat snacks en een koelkast met drinken waar je ook eigen wat eten koud kunt leggen. De gastvrijheid was top, je voelt je hier meteen welkom. De locatie is wat afgelegen, maar juist daardoor ideaal als je echt voor rust en ontspanning komt. Dank jullie wel Madelon & Marc!

Bitte probiert unbedingt das Dinner am Abend . Madelon und Marc celebrieren es unfassbar gut . Das Zimmer ist einfach genau das richtige um nach einem wunderschönen Tag nach Hause zu kommen.

De gastheer en gastvrouw waren werkelijk fantastisch. Ik ben ontzettend warm ontvangen. Ik reisde alleen en had soms geen planning, maar zij hebben me heel fijn geholpen om de omgeving te verkennen. Dankzij hen heb ik een fijn verblijf gehad. Daarnaast geef ik het eten in het restaurant een dikke 10! Als je geen rust wilt en alles op loopafstand dan is dit niet de juiste plek. Ik kwam hier voor mijn rust en kan geen enkel ding benoemen wat ik onprettig vond.

• Tobias (10/5): Idylischer Ort zum Abschalten und Wohlfühlen - Ein super schönes Hotel in ruhiger, idyllischer Lage fernab vom Trubel mit unglaublich herzliche Gastgebern. Bereits vor der Ankunft wurden wir von Marc und Madelon angeschrieben und haben vorab eine Wegbeschreibung, Infos & Tipps bekommen. Wir hatten die Möglichkeit im Restaurant zu essen (hat Freitag bis Sonntag geöffnet). Madelon kocht internationales Streetfood in sensationeller Qualität. Marc betreut den Service sehr aufmerksam.. Die Zimmer wurden sehr stilvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Man kann sich hier nur wohlfühlen.
• Jeremy (10/5): Calm, beautiful, relaxing escape to the mountains - The location was quiet and beautiful, the room was spacious and simple but incredibly comfortable and had all the features we needed with a lovely balcony with great views. The hosts were very friendly, gave us great recommendations and provided everything we needed. The included breakfast was delicious but the real highlight was the dinner in the restaurant, the food was amazing and so reasonably priced! There was also a pool and sun loungers which we didn’t get an opportunity to use but would have been a lovely place to relax. N/a
• Schumacher (9/5): Ein sehr schöner Ort um Ruhe und Entspannung zu finden - Das Frühstück war hervorragend und täglich mit frischen Speisen versehen und die Räumlichkeiten fürs Frühstück sind herrlich. Toller Ausblick beim ersten Cappuccino. Auch die Lage der Finca ist sehr gut und besonders für Reisende geeignet, die Ruhe und Entspannung suchen. Ein Mietwagen ist allerdings unerlässlich. Und wir haben tolle Tipps zur Erkundung der Umgebung erhalten, sowie Hinweise für tolle Restaurants.

Madelon en Marc zijn enorm vriendelijk en doen er alles aan de gasten het naar hun zin te maken. Heerlijk ontbijt en we hebben ook s avonds in het restaurant gegeten, heerlijke kleine wereldgerechtjes.

• Yo (10/5): Toplage, Top-Gastgeber, Top-Finca, Top-Essen, Top-Hund... alles top! - Wir haben im Herbst 2025 einige Nächte in der Finca Elements in den Bergen um Comares verbracht. Es ist ein traumhaftes Refugium, sehr stylish eingerichtet, eine Freude für Liebhaber schöner Dinge. Der Besitzer Domino, ein grosser, schwarzer Hund, hat alles gut im Griff und sein Personal Marc & Madelon machen seiner Meinung nach ihre Sache richtig gut. Kulinarisch kommt man auch auf seine Kosten und der Pool mitten in der traumhaften Landschaft trägt zur Erholung bei. Marc & Madelon sind die perfekten Gastgeber, die sich um ihre Gäste echt kümmern. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an einfach wohl. Es gibt absolut nichts zu bemängeln. Was könnte man besser machen? Nichts - alles ist perfekt. Uns hat alles gefallen und wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder!
• Kelly (4/5): Shower Drainage Issues - The breakfast and special Saturday night dinner. The couple who runs this finca could really use some additional help with upkeep. The property needs overall maintenance—sweeping, cleaning the pool chairs and outdoor bed, unclogging drains, and removing cobwebs. Since it’s about 15 minutes from the nearest town, a small stocked mini-bar or refreshment area would be a thoughtful addition. The mattress is sagging and should be replaced, and the shower doesn’t drain properly, leaving guests standing in wastewater—a potential hygiene concern. Additionally, the pool equipment is exposed, and the green pool color choice gives it more of a pond-like appearance rather than a relaxing retreat.
• Frits (7/5): Mooie locatie maar bij meerdere dagen beetje afgelegen en veel met auto moeten doen - Sfeer en het uitzicht Geen goede zit gelegenheid en geen tafeltje. Als je meerdere dagen verblijft is er geen gelegenheid voor afwas en tussendoor geen reiniging appartement . Na aankomst bleek dat het niet mogelijk was om ‘s avonds te eten waar we wel op gerekend hadden.

Een heerlijk vers bereid ontbijt, met heerlijk verrassende gerechtje. Je eitje wordt na wens á la minute gemaakt. 's avond heerlijk gedineert met allemaal lekker kleine wereld gerechtje bereid door Madelon echt heerlijk. Weer eens wat anders dan een voor-/ hoofd en nagerecht. Ook Marc heeft ons super verzorgd met koffietjes bij het ontbijt en de wijntjes bij het eten. Jullie hebben een mooie B&B. Een echte aanrader. Er viel niks tegen. Wij hebben genoten en komen zeker nog eens terug.

Der Poolbereich war perfekt bei heißem spanischen Wetter. Es liegt leicht abgelegen, sodass man wirklich seine Ruhe hat und man sich entspannen kann. • Jose Manuel (10/5): Escapada perfecta en plena naturaleza - Fue un auténtico placer pasar unos días en la villa. Marc y Madelon son los perfectos anfitriones, pendientes a todo y cuidando cada detalle para que te sientas como en casa. La habitación era preciosa, grande, cuidada y limpia. Las instalaciones también cuidadas al detalle para disfrutar de una experiencia en la naturaleza. La comida de Madelon en el restaurante es digna de estar en un restaurante de lujo y la atención de Marc en el restaurante también. Igual en los desayunos, lo necesario y de buena calidad. Estamos encantados y volveremos seguro.

Cenamos una noche en el hotel y como he leído en alguna de las valoraciones, Madelon es digna de tener estrella Michelin. Marc también nos hizo sentir como en casa, nos dio todo tipo de recomendaciones, a algunas de las cuales hicimos caso y fue un acierto absoluto. Los desayunos y la piscina en ese entorno tan tranquilo son maravillosos . Por decir algo, el alojamiento está algo más alejado de lo que pensábamos. Sin más no habíamos calculado la distancia a Málaga , q son unos 45 mins.

• Luca (9/5): Little hidden and calm paradise - Marc and Madelon are the perfect hosts, their place is what you need to disconnect, relax and enjoy silence and nature. The room was very well curated and the pool added to the very relaxing experience! Small details like a mini fridge in the room to keep personal food and beverages fresh and a cover for the sun in the terrace, it would have been just perfection.

Marc had sent a video in case we arrive late. Little solar lamps lead us to our room. Lovely. Our mistake ! We trusted our GPS instead of Marc's instructions ...

• Tiia (7/5): Good - The rooms are nicely decorated and the location is very peaceful with beautiful views to the surrounding country side. Things start to be a bit outdated, some furniture were broken, dirty and even molden, e.g. the bed was broken and all outdoor furniture in bad shape. They have not done good job with maintenance, especially when it comes to outdoor spaces, and we were left disappointed because the pictures makes you expect more. They should fix and update everything, or alternatively lower prices; now even in low season they asked much more and luxury price compared to other accomodations in the region, but you dont get the luxury. There is potential though. Also we stayed in the bigger room but it didnt have own terrace as such, and no evening sun and was not super cosy, and we thought the smaller and cheaper would give more value for the moneh.

I don’t usually write negative reviews, but I hope this helps other travellers make a more informed choice. Our stay at Finca Elements wasn’t terrible, but it definitely didn’t match the photos or glowing reviews. The Property - The furniture is old, worn-out, and dusty — nothing like the pictures. Everything creaked and felt neglected. - The only shared area is the pool, which is nice but basic. - We didn’t receive any room service during our stay, nothing at all. We had to take out our own trash. Breakfast We were given a platter with sliced meats, cheeses, veggies, and fruits — a few pieces of each. Eggs were only brought out when we specifically asked for them. The Room - The toilet is inside the closet. No proper door, no privacy, no ventilation. It was uncomfortable and awkward — not something you’d expect or want. - No basic items like plates or cutlery, which would make sense given there are no shops or restaurants nearby. - The room felt bare — no extras like blankets, cushions, or candles to make it more cozy or functional. - I found a broom and had to clean spider webs myself, including under furniture. - When we arrived, we were given only one bathrobe for two people. The owner said the second was drying, but it never showed up. Location The views are pretty, but the location is very isolated. It’s hard to reach, some roads were closed, and there’s nothing within walking distance — not even trails. The nearest village shop is 10–15 minutes away by car. Final Thoughts The owners seemed nice, but that doesn’t make up for the lack of cleanliness, comfort, or basic convenience. We wouldn’t return.

• Veerle (9/5): Great getaway to recharge your batteries - I love its location: very quiet, you only hear birds and frogs. Clean air, no industries, no noise, very laidback. Madelon & Marc are very welcoming and easygoing. The dinner on weekends is to lick your fingers. The breakfast is also very varied. Small suggestion: a few bread options would be nice? The property lacks a bit of TLC. The mattress is not the most comfy and the pillows were too soft for me, almost non existing, but this is a personal matter as we all have different tastes.

• Nutty (6/5): Pleasant - The size of the room, the mini fridge is really helpful for keeping small items cold. The host as also very friendly and pleasant. The swinging seat, looks great but not easy to get into or comfortable to sit in, no chair cushions for the furniture outside - shower didn't drain and leaked into the bedroom so our towels were always wet and you have to stand in water while washing. The restaurant was closed but we were only told on arrival, that made out stay very uncomfortable, we booked because it had a restaurant so to be told when we arrive is not ideal, had we been told before we would have cancelled as that is a main part of our trips away... My husband is in a wheelchair so the idea of us taking a break is not going out to find lunch and dinner each day (we went without dinner because we couldn't be bothered to keep getting in the car - especially when access isnt fantastic and the road network around is bumpy and broken), if the restaurant had been open as advertised we would not have booked so we came home needing a break and have now booked somewhere else to go. We are hard working people and our trips away are focused around not having to cook so the lack of those facilites ruined our mini break which is a real shame, al supermarkets around the hotel were closed because we arrived at lunchtime so siesta then poses another issue, we ended up doing a lot of faffing of going in and out for food so not relaxed at all, the small that we found open were very expensive. I doubt we will return
• Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location for the start of our trip in Andalusia, on a little hill with only a couple of rooms, wonderfu owners, very flexible. The room was very sweet, nicely decorated, just the way we love it. From the pool (and actually from everywhere at the property) you have phantastic views. Breakfast was the way we like it - fruits, buns, good coffee. Will definitely come back There's nothing not to like
• Isabelle (10/5): Exceptional - A slice of heaven! Really beautiful accommodation, comfortable and relaxing. The setting is idyllic too, extremely quiet which made for a really peaceful stay. Marc and Madelon (and Domino the lovely dog!) were super hospitable, nothing was any hassle and they made sure we had the best stay possible. Not to mention Madelon's excellent cooking!! The breakfast was brilliant and we ate twice in the the restaurant too, the food was amazing! Absolutely would recommend to anyone who is looking for some rest and relaxation in the sun. Genuinely couldn't pick anything, it was a brilliant stay.

• Kelly (10/5): Lovely relaxing location - Renovated finca by a dutch couple. Lovely relaxing location. Pool with amazing views of the countryside, surrounded my nature. Rooms were very spacious and clean, with a nice sense of decoration. Breakfasts had all you needed and Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays dinner is served and cooked in an amazing fashion. Loved every aspect of it. We went during a heatwave and their air-conditioning worked amazingly inside the room, although we spent most of the time at the pool! Pretty views. The hosts were very attentive and helpful. I strongly recommend.

• Malene (9/5): Beautiful relaxing finca with great hosts - Everything was great: the bed, the room, the breakfast, the pool area and the stunning views. We were really relaxed. I didn't know there was a small fridge, but was pleasently surprised. It was also possible to buy beverages and beer from tap. The hosts were also really sweet and their small restaurant served some of the best food. Not possible to eat lunch at the stay and restaurants are around 20 min away by car.

Perfect to take a break from work!! The hosts Marc and Madelon are just lovely. At the weekends you get to enjoy madelons lovely home cooked meals, which are just delightful. We will definitely come back!
• Mateamd (10/5): Beautiful stay at Finca Elements! - What a beautiful stay at Finca Elements! Very serene settings so car is a must (about 45mins from Malaga airport) The hosts were so lovely and accommodating and did everything to make my stay comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. Unfortunately the restaurant was not operating when I was there so I could not try it. Very stylish rooms with lots of character. Would happily stay again perhaps a desk somewhere for travellers who need to work but this does not detract from the experience at all

• Petra (10/5): Perfect hideaway to get pampered in the mountains - Beautiful surroundings, very quiet and relaxing. Marc and Madelane are wonderful hosts, and Madelane is a suberb cook. We adored her flavor combinations. Marc was very helpful in wine recommendations as well as insights into our following travel destinations. Accommodations are very zen and perfect for a relaxing stay.
• Lorn (10/5): Idyllic pace in the countryside - We loved the warm welcome from the hosts and their gorgeous furry companions. It was a beautiful afternoon so we were able to enjoy the picture perfect setting. 360 degree views. We loved our room. Rustic with modern touches and a terrace with beautiful views of the mountains and the setting sun. Coffee machine was a bonus. The shower was hot and powerful. And we loved the products. We had a wonderful dinner beautifully cooked and presented. Accompanied by some lovely wines. We thought it was some of the best food we’ve eaten in a long time. We had a great night’s sleep. So quiet. Breakfast was buffet style with perfectly cooked eggs. We enjoyed the whole experience and will definitely return. There were a few little details that didn’t detract from our experience but would have enhanced it a little. There was no soap in the basin area. The towels were lovely but a personal preference for us is large bath towels. The mentioned bathrobes weren’t in the room. Would have been nice after the fabulous shower.
