• Zharika (10/5): Lovely stay in Kroonstad - We where so surprised with he size of the property, it is such a lovely property and we I joyed our stay. Loved the well sized rooms and the kitchen was any persons dreams. Kitchen. It is definitely value for many. We will stay at the property again. We wanted to prepare potato bake just to note there was no oven, but luckily I made so with what was available....this the shower closest to the kitchen hot water takes forever to get warm but it was no train smash.

• Siba (10/5): Impeccable stay, exceptional hospitality. - ⸻ I had such an amazing stay at this property! From the moment I arrived, everything was absolutely spotless. You can tell so much care goes into maintaining the space. It was fresh, beautifully set up, and so comfortable. Honestly, the pictures don’t even do it justice. It looks great online, but it’s even better in person. The host was also incredibly kind and accommodating. I had an emergency and they graciously allowed me a later check-out, which I truly appreciated. That level of understanding and hospitality made all the difference. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, welcoming, and well-managed place to stay. Thank you for such a wonderful experience! My stay was too short. lol.

• Tal (9/5): - The house is beautiful and enough room for everyone. The pool was clean and really enjoyed the evenings we spent outside by the braai. We were allowed an early check in, and we really appreciated that. It felt like our communication/requests to the housekeeper were misinterpreted when delivered to the owner. When we chose our December vacation places we chose according to facilities provided one being washing machine. Only to realise they were restrictions on time and when to use it as it is in a locked room. Housekeeper came then she said she needed to be somewhere else so she will help us to put our washing then she will come back later. Our washing was very little but it had to be 2 loads to seperate whites from colour clothes. She never came back Next day was our checkout and our clothes were not dry so i sent my daughter to say they should rather not put second load of the whites. I went there few mins later and the housekeeper had put second load. We could not pack our bags as we had to wait for laundry. Checkout is 10 but with the housekeepers walking around and cleaning outdide at 8:30 already we felt so chased out like we were no longer guests, they just wanted to prepare for next ones. We make sure we leave the place the way we found it so we cleaned inside as we always do when we travel. I went to the washing room to give the housekeeper a tip as we were about to leave after we took off washing from the line. The owner was there too but no greeting at all. I even was the one to greet him and he just waved. When we left, we felt so empty and it was my first ever feeling like this after a holiday. I would have written directly to owner and say my concerns but after no greeting from him i felt blocked. Such a shame because i really want to go back there with my family and asvertise to friends as well since Kroonstad is only considered a small town yet so much too offer.

• Mokgara (10/5): Perfection - I visited this place over the weekend, and I honestly can’t stop thinking about how perfect everything was! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how welcoming and professional everyone was. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and everything was beautifully set up ,you can tell that they really take pride in what they do. I made sure to tell the staff how happy I was during my visit because truly, everything exceeded my expectations. The service was excellent, the place was spotless, and every small detail was done with care. Nothing was bad or disappointing; it was all just smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. I’m already planning my second trip because I can’t wait to experience it all again. This place definitely deserves a 5-star rating! If you’re thinking about going, I’d absolutely recommend it, you’ll leave feeling refreshed and satisfied just like I did.

• Anja (10/5): Comfortable stay with family - Maria was brilliant and sorted all our requests with a smile. The house was spotless and the beds very comfortable. The shower was lovely. The swimming pool area was lovely to sit and relax with the family. There were only 3 drinking glasses in the cupboard and no wine glasses. The bright lights outside was on all night and made the bedroom next to the kitchen look like daylight we could not find the switch for the lights. Maybe blackout curtains will be good if the light has to stay on overnight.

We particularly appreciated how well-equipped the place was for entertainment - we managed to spend the entire weekend indoors without needing to go elsewhere thanks to the excellent facilities and variety of board games that kept our group thoroughly entertained. The modern furnishings and linen throughout the accommodation added a touch of luxury to our experience, creating a stylish yet comfortable atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Having both Netflix and DSTV available meant everyone in our group could find something to enjoy during our downtime. One of the highlights was definitely the immaculately maintained garden with its inviting blue water pool - a perfect oasis for relaxation. The cleanliness of both the interior and exterior spaces showed the host's attention to detail and commitment to providing guests with a premium experience. This place truly offers the perfect balance of indoor comfort and outdoor beauty for an unforgettable getaway. The self-catering place offers a comfortable stay, though it could benefit from more crockery to properly match its maximum capacity. While the limited crockery may be due to previous guest breakage, it made preparing meals for our entire group somewhat challenging. They do however offer a convenient dishwashing machine to make up for this. For guests planning to make full use of the self-catering facilities, especially larger groups, you might want to bring a few extra plates or bowls. Despite this minor inconvenience, the accommodation itself was pleasant and met our other needs. Just be prepared for the limited cookware situation if you're planning to cook multiple meals during your stay.

The house is so spacious, that was my favourite part. Love, love the open plan living area. The pool is well maintained and just the right size for splashing about in the heat. Property is in a fabulous neighbourhood with low fences (screams in Johannesburg). The backyard is nice and private. The hosts are so responsive. The check in process was simple. I would appreciate blackout curtains. The property is so well lit that you can easily be outside and be able to see. That’s a great plus. However, the light shines onto the bedroom window ( the one by the kitchen) , I struggled to sleep.
