- Anna (6/5): - There was an air of neglect to the outside, should now be called cobweb lodge. Shower in en-suite not fit for purpose. Beds were comfy and clean but general cleanliness left a bit to be desired. A great shame as the lodge was very well equipped.
- Diana (10/5): Quiet and clean, very good! - Clean and nice

About this holiday sorry
- Jasmine (9/5): Peaceful - Clean and cosy, had everything we needed for a quiet break away from the city :))
- Jon (8/5): A fantastic stay and would definitely book again if I need to stay that way again. - Over property great Too many cobwebs and dead spiders, needs to be cleaned better in my opinion.
- Rebekah (10/5): Very homely and clean - Came up from Cornwall, for my Nanna’s 80th Birthday. Very clean tidy property. Lovely furniture was perfect for our large family group. Felt very homely and very well decorated love the bees. Thank you for the special touches and complementary items. We will definitely stay here again as it was perfect. Thank you very much Cobwebs in the Laundry shed
- Daniel (10/5): Great value, a wonderful 4 day break - Wonderful stay at Honeybee lodge, exceeded all our expectations, Michael the host had ensured we had a very special welcome pack, containing coffee, tea, milk, bread butter and eggs.
The lodge itself was immaculate and clean, it contained everything we required, all cooking utensils, towels, bedding, absolutely spotless, a wonderful 4 days. A certain receptionist.... on paying for the gym, the second visit in four days, gave me the third degree, plastic snobbery at it's finest, perhaps she is too old to know any better...
- Claire (9/5): - Everything was clean and tidy. There was even milk, eggs, and bread left for us, which is a lovely gesture. It's a quiet and beautiful location.
- Leigh (10/5): Perfect for families. The attention to detail was second to none. - Everything. The size, the location, the decor, the attention to detail. We loved the bees on everything. My family had the best time here. Nothing
- Jocelyn (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and welcoming, milk eggs and bread left for us. Comfortable and pleasant stay. Thank you
- Philip (9/5): Me and my family felt very comfy here and the personal touches with bread and milk and eggs. Very good communication wit - Personal touches and simple amenities were provided Cobwebs in places but nothing out of the ordinary for this time of year.

- Sherrie (10/5): Perfect stay - The lodge was a home from home
- Lee (9/5): Superb - Perfect for what we wanted and needed while working away with the benefit of home comforts
- Chrissie (9/5): Perfect and peaceful, highly recommended -
- Gary (10/5): A wonderful outstanding stay with family. The lodge exceeded our expectations. - Absolutely outstanding stay at Honeybee Lodge. Although on a golf course, it so peacful and tranquil. We come from the south and people are generally pretty miserable down here these days, but here at Tydd St. Giles people were so nice, said hi as they passed by etc. The lodge was very clean and tidy on arrival, we got out key from the key safe without issue. A very generouse welcome pack, loaf of bread, 2pts semi skimmed milk, 6 eggs, tea, coffee, even hot chocolate. There was also washing up liquid, tea towel (there is a dish washer, but we did not use it). The two settees were comfy, but a little low for me,. The ensuite shower room also had body wash and shampoo as did the main family bathroom. Plenty of towels. We had amazing weather and even with the patio doors open it was still quiet and peacful. A really lovely place with lots of personal touches with a bee theme, it felt homely and someone has gone to a lot of trouble which was appreciated on our part. Many thanks Michael. Hope to be back again in the near future. The BBQ was in need of replacement and it would ahve been nice to have all the outside fairy lights working. Trivial things but thought I would mention it. This did not impact our stay in any way.
- Germain (10/5): Lovely relaxing weekend - Lovely location , very quiet, full equipped, comfy beds, decking large and garden furniture lovely.
The lodge was perfect would defo stay again Great to have leisure facility's on site but very expensive , changing room floor very slippery, nice gym but could be maintained better
- Lucia (8/5): Amazing stay - Clean house and bees Barbecue need attention due to unsafe conditions
- Paulina (10/5): Easter Break - The Lodge was just perfect. Great location, facilities, good size, very clean, peaceful. Can't fault it. Everything was great.
- Johanne (10/5): A wonderful short break with lovey accommodation for our family - The whole family liked the tranquillity of the location. The kitchen was very well equipped. It was very clean and we would like to return in the future. It was perfect.
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional - I'm really pleased with my stay.
- Nadia (10/5): Very pleased with everything would definitely stay again - Very comfortable with plenty of space and very clean Everything was perfect
- Michelle (6/5): Pleasant - Size of the lodge Strange smell on arrival, oven set off alarms... all the facilities were out of action, no apologies given, no compensation, not even a drink offered at the bar or a coffee for the inconvenience. Staff at the facilities didn't care. This was the reason for spending a little more, in order to relax in a pool, steam room etc. And not available. Very disappointing.
- Murray (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ann-marie (10/5): Great weekend break, will definitely visit again - Excellent location N/A
- Chris (10/5): Excellent lodge in lovely location - Excellent lodge in lovely location just on the edge of the site and overlooking trees and open land. Very nice facilities and well-equipped kitchen Little tricky to find in the dark initially.
- Ian (9/5): This is by far the best accommodation of this type we have stayed in. So we’ll equipped with everything we needed and ad - Excellent choice for our stay in Wisbech. So lovely to walk in and see such spacious well equipped accommodation Nothing
- Adrian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (10/5): Comfortable and Spacious Accomodation in the heart of the Fens - Very spacious, warm and confortable home on a well cared for and quiet golf/ residential site in the middle of the countryside. Close to different towns and good access to main roads. The local towns Boston, Kings Lynn and Spalding have large supermarkets with Petrol stations.
The place was well provisioned with an extensive range of cooking Utensils and Equipment, all of which were easy to use. Wif-fi was strong and easy to log onto. The beds were comfortable. Everywhere was clean and well cared for.
The Hosts provided a small care package of eggs, a loaf and milk which was very thoughtful. Teatowel , dish cloth, dish scrubber and washing up liquid were also there. There were a range of condiments and sauces there too, (handy if you have forgotten anything). Handwash, shower gel and conditioner was also provided.
Everything was easy to use and straightforward. Cannot fault it. Would definitely stay there again.
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - This is a great little place. Our lads stay here when working nearby every few months and its brilliant
- Taryn (9/5): Superb -
- Neil (9/5): Superb -
- Kevin (10/5): Excellent in every way - Outstanding in every sense! Fantastic, high quality accomadation. The lodge was spotlessly clean, had every appliance and facilities you need for a relaxing and trouble-free holiday. The park is lovely and quiet and all the people seemed very friendly.
Michael, the host, was great- all information regarding everything about the lodge and park was comminicated before I arrived, nothing was too much trouble!
I have stayed in various lodges in the UK and Honey Bee lodge is easily among the best by far.
Love to stay again. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Norfolk.
Big thank you to Michael. Nothing
- Nicola (5/5): Passable -
- Ansgar (9/5): Superb - it is a very nice Chalet with a lot of space and many little details. the owner was really nice. the terrace was not very clean, but the weather was really nice, so we seated outside. it would have been more comfortable, if it would have been clean.
- Jones (10/5): Exceptional -
- Court (9/5): Excellent, well appointed accommodation which met all our needs. Would definitely use again. - Location was good but I was there to play golf The weather
- Mel (9/5): Extremely enjoyable - Accommodation was lovely, clean and spacious. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was very well equipped and the thoughtful milk, bread and eggs made a yummy breakfast! Nothing that could be done but not sure why the golf green outside the bedroom window needed mowing both days at 6:30am
- Heather (10/5): Brilliant! Best Holiday Yet - I am the first to notice if things aren’t right with a holiday accommodation and Honeybee Lodge was absolutely brilliant! The best yet!
We received a text prior to arrival which welcomed us and let us know the key safe number so we could easily get the keys.
I was honestly blown away with how much care and thought has gone into this lodge and I felt at home immediately (we are even going to buy the same sofas that they have there as they are sooooo comfy!). Everything that you think you might need and more was provided, including kitchen roll, enough toilet roll for the week, ketchup, milk, bread, dishwasher tablets … and the list goes on! We also found a fan which was amazing in the high heat.
The beds were comfy which was fantastic as I have disabilities and I get uncomfortable quite easily. Everything was spotless and well kept.
The veranda and furniture were well maintained. I pulled seat around to the side part, it felt like my own little reading area. There is a bbq which was very handy.
The lodge is second row back but you can see the golf course as it is positioned in the middle of the two front lodges. We enjoyed seeing everyone pottering around, enjoying their dog walk, game of golf. There appear to be a lot of residents who were all friendly. We were particularly amused by tow golf carts, one having a registration of ‘Mr Slice’ and the other ‘Mr Excuse’
The club facilities were lovely and it felt quite luxurious in the pool and changing rooms. Staff were really helpful and did everything they could to help us have a great stay.
The restaurant/bar is dog and kid friendly. The meals were huge and very good value.
We managed to go out all day, every day to enjoy the surrounding sights, museums, restaurants etc and definitely plan to return.
Thank you to everyone who made our holiday really special.

- Roxanne (10/5): Perfect stay for a relaxing holiday! - Perfect setting, quiet and peaceful. The lodge itself was comfortable and had everything we could possibly need and want. The attention to detail was really great and we could see the level of care that goes into hosting this lovely place.
We went on the nature trail around the site which was lovely and used the facilities in the leisure centre every day of the stay. The leisure centre was modern, staff were friendly and it was only a short walk away from the lodge.
We had a very relaxing and fun time here and would love you come back.
- Sarah (10/5): We will be back. - It was spacious, equipped with everything we needed and cosy.
- Victoria (10/5): Stunning lodge well worth a visit - Beautiful lodge, it was very clean and homely and the little extras and bee items were brilliant. perfect location and exactly what we were looking for. We loved the fishing lake that was only a couple of minutes walk. The site was peaceful and felt very safe. The club house food was very good. Overall a brilliant weekend was had by all and we would definitely love to come and stay again. THANK YOU! Nothing
- Ian (10/5): Perfect - Everything Nothing
- Lee (10/5): A lovely relaxing break - This lodge was so clean and comfortable. We loved the honeybee theme everywhere, making it so homely. The location was great for us ,so peaceful and relaxing. We didn't use the pool ,gym or golf course but it all looked good and we would definitely return and use the facilities. We enjoyed long walks with the dogs ,and relaxed in the wonderful lodge. Thank you for such lovely accomodation in a beautiful setting. Nothing
- Mark (9/5): Clean and well appointed. - The location has a good trail around the golf course for walking or running.
- Anne (8/5): Lovely homely stay - Loved the homely touches. Really comfortable and well equipped. Beautiful views. Had TVs in each room and selection of games and books Some areas were let down by cleanliness. Lots of well established cobwebs throughout the caravan. Several items of crockery and cutlery were dirty and needed washing.
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jackie (10/5): A delightful stay in an excellent lodge. The site itself was kept immaculately too. - The lodge was spacious and the furnishings were first class. It was very clean and comfortable beds. Nothing.
- Dawn (9/5): Great Lodge with very good facilities - It is a great place, comfortable and spacious with great facilities. They even left us a welcome gift The ensuite shower door was missing. Otherwise, it was lovely in all areas.
- Hannah (8/5): Very good -
- Sapumal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Max (9/5): Great property, we loved our break. - Great property, very clean, quiet and everything you need from a home away from home. Host provided extras like tea, coffee, eggs and bread which was an added bonus. Views of the golf course and also the gym facilities, which we didn't use. Bit secluded, but that didn't bother us. Also would have been nice if the health facilities were free to use.
- Mariyana (10/5): Relaxing break - Very beautiful lodge which makes you feel right at home the minute you step in. Very warm and welcoming, relaxing environment and atmosphere.
- Andrew (10/5): Perfect place for short stay -

- Lianne (10/5): Exceptional - Accommodation was spot on. Clean, tidy and everything you needed.
Was a quite and relaxing break to visit family.
Communication was great 👍
Would highly recommend.
- Mandy (10/5): Girlie Short Break - Lovely location on the Country Park, the Lodge is situated in one corner on the edge of the Golf Course. It is so tranquil and peaceful.
It is very well equipped with all "Bee" themed items.
Hive heating system is fabulous, would warm up very quickly if needed.
Parking for 2 cars alongside the Lodge.
Michael the owner kept in touch, but we had no course to need him as the Lodge was superb. Just that we were there for a Mon-Fri break and the Country Club facilities such as the Restaurant for Breakfast and Dinner was closed on Mon and Tue and we didn't know this until we got there, unfortunately.
- Shirley (6/5): Pleasant - The lodge was great, clean and well equiped. Couldn't have asked for more with regards to the lodge itself. Loved the Bee theme throughout along with bread, milk & eggs on arrival, nice touch! I had a couple of interactions with the site facilities workers & these were not pleasent at all. As soon as they found out we were stay at a lodge that was a private rental, their attitutes changed. THey were very unhelpful, rude even & put up additional barriers to use the facilities. Although information about the booking facilities in advance was provided, we were told we couldn't take 7 children (of which 4 were over 10-15years old) into the pool after we told then where we were staying but 2mins before they had no problem wiht this if it was one of their lodges. ThIs really impacted our stay, I hihgl recommend contacting the facilities more than a week before hand to check they will take your booking & not change their minds once they know it's a private rental.
I also did not received the email wiht the Barrier code or key safe code but on contacting Michael, received this information & had no issues accessing the lodge.
- Bianca (10/5): The Perfect Place to find peace with all the commodities. - The property was spotless and super clean. Very cozy and everything you would need was there. It was a family trip to relax and it was just perfect. I did regret not having booked an extra day. Comfortable all the amenities were there and ready for you. Everything was so well explained in a book or notes. We wanted peace as we were coming from London and that’s what we had. It’s a place to find peace and leisure in a healthy way. We had that exactly! Beautiful land all over it. We will definitely go back and pass the word to other serious people.
- Richard (9/5): All good - All good and good location n/a
- Bridgette (10/5): Sweetest stay at Honeybee lodge - Everything was utterly beautiful. From the lodge itself to the surroundings. I couldn't fault a single thing.
The owner was excellent at communicating everything and very helpful and pleasant to speak with.
We were greeted by a bee upon arrival, which I'm not entirely sure how they managed to pull it off but it felt quite magical haha!
The view from the outside was impressive and upon entering, our opinions only increased.
The decor is stunning and the little extra bee details found around are adorable. It wasn't until our second night that I spotted the base of the beds had even been tied in with the theme! Very impressed.
It was all exceptionally clean and comfortable and had everything you could need and more. Loved the books and toys to hand too!
The surrounding area is so tranquil. Everyone seems respectful of one another's space but also friendly enough to stop and say good morning, making you feel welcomed too.
The night is what caught me off guard though. Sat outside on the deck just enjoying the peace, I couldn't believe how breath taking the stars were! I don't think I've ever experienced anything so beautiful before.
This is the most wonderful stay I've had and we are already trying to look at when to book again next! Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy your lodge! The only downside was having to leave.
- Helen (10/5): Very comfortable and homely lodge - Very comfortable and homely lodge with everything you might need for a weekend away. Good facilities at the Country club for an additional charge - we used the lovely pool for a family swim and my partner enjoyed a round of golf. We arrived late in the evening and the instructions on entry and key collection were superb.

One minor observation-no instructions for electric fire on wall but managed to work it out pretty quickly.

- Andrews (9/5): Excellent price great accommodation would stay again 👍👍 -
- Ltd (10/5): Exceptional - The lodge is exceptional! Absolutely fantastic. A lot bigger than it looks, extremely comfortable. One of if not the best lodge I’ve ever seen. There isn’t a word I could say about the lodge.
- Rohan (10/5): Exceptional - The kitchen facilities where excellent and the lodge was cosy.
- Brady (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanne (9/5): Fab location with easy access to Wisbech. The lodge has everything you could need and more. - Really lovely rural location with plenty of walks, no noise at all at night just the owls! The lodge had everything that you could need, really nice touch to have provided tea, coffee, milk, eggs and bread even for a two night stay. One twin bedroom room is on the side next to one of the golf course greens, which was ok but you had to remember this when opening the curtains as the golfers are out from 7am😁
- Sam (9/5): Excellent stay, the lodge exceeded all expectations. - Michael was extremely accommodating and helpful on the run up to stay at HoneyBee Lodge. The Lodge was spotless and the information packs left inside helped us navigate the local area. Plenty of space to relax for a group of 5. Thank you! N/A. - what is a shame is the poor attitude shown by the staff of Tydd St Giles golf course.
The lodge itself was superb.
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent quiet location. Three of us stayed here, as we were working nearby. Easy to find within the site. Would definitely stay here again!
- Lee (10/5): Lovely homely place - Such a nice homely place, almost liked you'd walked into someone's house... great touch that there was tea coffee milk and bread.
The setting is lovely and very dog friendly.
We will come back again
- Pat (10/5): Excellent - No breakfast Nothing
