Guest Reviews
- James (10/5): - Everything Nothing
- Samantha (9/5): Beautiful cottage in private setting close drive to Rye. The owners were really lovely. We would definitely recommend an - Lovely little cottage, with its own parking space, set back on private grounds with owners next door, who were on hand if there were any issues (which there weren’t), really friendly, helpful and left us in privacy which we appreciated. The cottage had fabulous heating and was very warm and cozy. Anyone with dogs would also find this cottage a perfect place to stay. It was a short drive into Rye which was absolutely fine - we didn’t feel it was a short walking distance away - unless there was a walking route of which we were unaware. It had absolutely everything we needed. It would have been nice to have had a little drop of milk in the fridge to have had with a tea/coffee when we arrived, but that’s such a small thing when everything was so perfect.

- Donna (9/5): Would definitely recommend Willow Cottage if visiting Rye and surrounding areas. - We had a lovely 2 night stay at Willow Cottage. The accommodation was very clean and cosy and the bed was so comfortable! It’s in an excellent location to visit local areas. There are also two great, friendly pubs within walking distance of the cottage.

- Helena (8/5): Very enjoyable weekend away - Good location to get into Rye and lovely walks The stairs were a bit slippery being wood, but not too steep.
- Kerrie (10/5): Beautiful Cottage in a perfect location. - Beautiful property in a beautiful location. Willow Cottage was perfect for us and our two dogs. Beautifully furnished with everything we could of needed. Would definitely recommend.
- Haines (10/5): Very enjoyable. - Clean , comfortable, had everything needed for our short stay. Secure parking. Spacious. Nothing to say
- Terry (8/5): Relaxing, quiet and peaceful. Equipped with everything we needed. - Quirky decor with interesting books and art. Dog friendly. Cosy. Well equipped kitchen. Good smart TV. Heating and shower hot water tricky to set correctly.
- Stephen (8/5): Nice quiet little cottage. - We were on fleeting visit to Rye, it was a perfect location, very close to Rye, parking directly outside and very quiet. The facilities were perfect for our needs and the bed was extremely comfortable with nice bedding. Being elderly we would have preferred two easy chairs rather than the big sofa.

- Marnie (9/5): Wonderful 2 night winter stay in warm and cosy cottage - Well equipped, cosy cottage with a lot of charm. and some nice personal touches. Very comfortable bed and a great shower with plenty of hot water.
- joanne (10/5): Delightfully cosy winter retreat. - Tucked away but easy walking distance from local pubs and main town centre. Spacious yet cosy property. Everything you could need was there and having parking made it even better as many places locally don’t have parking. It was worth the 15 minute stroll to town. Nothing.
- Henrietta (10/5): Lovely stay - Very warm , clean and private cottage with all facilities available.Spacious as it is over 2 floors ,access to parking and near Rye centre .Communication was very good and detailed especially directions to the location-thank you for a lovely stay Everything was as expected and true to images -All was good
- Laura (10/5): Cosy home from home. - Lovely cosy cottage, we loved the privacy, a home away from home, with great facilities and tastefully decorated. It's a good location for Rye as its walkable or a 5 minute drive. We will return as we loved it so much, including the dog!
- Jack (10/5): Willow cottage has everything you need for a relaxing time in Rye! - Our stay at willow cottage was delightful - quiet, relaxing and really cosy. We had a great time and we’d definitely come back again!!

- Annamaria (10/5): Clean, tidy, adorable cottage, perfect for a cozy, romantic weekend. - It was a lovely, well-kept, clean and most of all adorable cottage. It was super cozy, with a comfy bed and sweet sitting room. When it got cold heating was quick and readily available.
- Brian (5/5): Not very good disappointed for the price paid. - Located near to walks and town The stairs were very steep and a slip hazard . bathroom very dated with a raised lip on the doorway floor.
- Jeff (7/5): - Sweet little cottage Bathroom was downstairs and the stairs were steep - not ideal in the middle of the night. Garden unkempt with overgrown shrubs covering the living room windows.
- Tom (10/5): - Cosy little cottage in a lovely setting. And our host was very kind and helpful!
- Prabha (9/5): All amenities within walking distance. - The cottage, the location and Rye There was nothing we didn't like. However, this is a message for Booking.com and not the host. You informed me that I should ask the host for a VAT invoice. The host has informed me that he is not VAT registered. Given that you have collected VAT would you please send me a VAT invoice?

- Lucy (7/5): Ok, just a bit more basic than expected. - The bed was very comfortable. The property was easy to find and a nice distance from Rye, so easy to walk into town. Would have been nice to have been provided with a small amount of milk, and usually there would be shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom as a minimum.

- Liam (7/5): Not bad.. nice enough but get rid of the frosted windows! - Quite good location, nice bedroom, lots of coffee The frosted windows in the sitting room made it like a cave! So dark and dismal. Shampoo would be good too
- Andrew (8/5): Couple plus dog, relaxing break. - Quiet and relaxing with a huge amount of books to browse.
Dog friendly with access to many walks, with maps & guide books available in the cottage.

- Edward (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (9/5): Perfect. - Clean, cosy, tasteful, super comfy bed, great surroundings and close to the town
- Stone (8/5): nice area - What Breakfast? Communication from booking agency. Its computer got the idea that I was arriving after midnight, and repeated this even though I had pointed out the error.
Instructions for location were fine however and we got in once we had mastered the key box.
We saw no sign until the final morning of the householder, who seemed detached from our using his premises. It was clearly not his job to welcome us
