Guest Reviews
- Rosaria (8/5): - Beautiful location and well decorated tent with good facilities.
Great communication from the hosts who were very helpful The muesli, bubble bath and hand wash had not been refilled prior to our stay.
It was a very cold night and the small pot belly fire was not large enough to keep warm throughout the night so needed to use the split system heating at full fan.
The outdoor bath is lovely but be aware it's a walk around to the other side of the tent so can get quite cold getting in and out.
- Jess (10/5): Absolutely fantastic. - The mangers of this property are so very kind, welcoming and thoughtful Everything, the outside bath was a beautiful touch.

Gorgeous little touches so thoughtfully done. Nothing!! It was perfect!
- Subashree (9/5): So serene and relaxing - Loved the location of the property - so peaceful and relaxing. Great hospitality. Loved the farm animals freely roaming around - a beautiful place amongst nature.
- stephanie (10/5): Loved every second! Wish we could’ve stayed longer - Everything! Especially the outdoor bath. The yurt was stunning and has everything you could ever need. I was impressed that it had aircon too! Two huntsman’s found their way into the room but we weren’t too bothered by them 🤣
- Burge (10/5): A fabulous little find that we will love to visit again one day! - There was nothing not to like about counting stars! It was peaceful & scenic. Nothing

- Sankalp (10/5): - A very peaceful environment and only had to step out of the dome to enjoy the sunset.
- Charlotte (10/5): -

- Sarah (9/5): - It’s very relaxing place for a couple to have a romantic getaway. Loved the outside bath tub and the seating area Could be useful if it was a bigger fridge
- Katie (10/5): Can’t wait to come stay again - Absolutely everything was great! Nothing to dislike
- Joshi (10/5): -
- Christine (10/5): Slice of heaven - From the moment we arrived we felt like we were in heaven.
Everything was beyond perfect, from the geodome, to the surroundings. Beautifully set up, fire going when we arrived and marshmallows waiting outside. This was the reset we needed. And will absolutely return again Nothing
- Matthew (10/5): - Attention to detail. The extra mile both Anthea and Stu went to made our evening relaxed. Would highly recommend counting stars and we look forward to returning again only this time for a little longer Leaving
- Jordyn (10/5): A must stay - Where do I even start. As soon as we got there the host had both the indoor and outdoor fire ready for us for the chilly night that was coming, he greeted us with a smile and told us all about the area for restaurants, landmarks, and things to do. From the moment we walked inside we felt a wave of calm, plenty of firewood and fire starters for the fireplace, a warm bed with extra blankets, fresh loaf of bread and croissants, along with fresh tomatoes, avocado, and eggs straight from the chook. Our mornings were spent watching the sunrise and fog over the mountains right from our own bed. Only a 10 minute drive into town with many shops and places to eat, we still kept coming back just to chill on the property because it's just one of those places you never want to leave. Waking up to the sound of the resident duck 🦆 was the best thing ever, I'm running out of words to say because you just need to experience it for yourself. We will be booking again in the future even just for a weekend away with no special occasion, it was that good! A great value for money Absolutely nothing!
- Charlotte (10/5): Perfect way to celebrate our engagement! Off grid! Peaceful, beautiful and relaxing! - COUNTING STARS IS A MUST STAY!!!! The attention to detail, the hosts go above and beyond to ensure guests feel comfortable, relaxed and welcomed! Cows greeted us, beautiful nature, sunsets, toasty fire inside and outside, with the outside fire being the perfect way to cook food! The stars are incredible at night and the day time is just as beautiful with birds chirping and cows mooing! The bnb itself is so beautiful and well maintained, the bed is extremely warm and comfy, you will feel extremely relaxed and enter pure tranquility coming here! Can’t wait to come back to stay!!! Nothing! Everything was perfect!
- Ellen (10/5): Exceptional - The hosts were super nice and helpful, they also had the furnace and fire place going by the time we got there (very appreciated with the cold and windy weather). Really cool idea with the tent/ dome/ yert - it was fun to stay in, super cosy and really well furbished. The fluffy cows and dogs were also cute. 10/10 would recommend Nada
- Peter (10/5): YOU MUST GO! Escape! Relax! Recharge! - “Counting Stars” exceeded our expectations by far…
This place was built by the owners- and they put so much love and care in it!
You are greeted with lemons at the door, chickens walking around, ducks, and a few young cows in the field next to you. Then you open the door- the “Glam Tent” is SPOTLESS! Every single detail has been thought out; there’s a wood fireplace, A/C, shower, toilet, internet (which we didn’t use!) TV with access to Netflix / Prime etc which we also didn’t bother with, a small kitchenette with 4 eggs, some tomatoes, an avocado, some pastries, fresh bread, tea, coffee, OJ, Milk, ALL of which made a substantial breakfast- there was no need to go out. There’s a chair, a hook, two robes, towels, plenty of blankets, everything that you need is right there… and did I mention how clean it is? SPOTLESS! You forget the outside world exists.
And then there’s the outside- A BATHTUB ! A fireplace, a small BBQ, chairs to lounge on… and that’s the “the stuff” that they built… the magic happens when the sun goes down… and then you lose yourself in the night sky. We are in out late 50’s it was Mother’s Day and my wife’s birthday- and we’ve been through some really tough times; lost a daughter during Covid - and many other issues and we just needed a place “to escape” and to recharge our mind body and spirit… and that’s exactly what we did. WE TOOK A BATH UNDER THE STARS! We just sat there- we didn’t need to say a word… we just sat there, drank champagne and took one amazing moment in after another. You will feel like you’re going a “magic nature escape” for a night. I took a walk in the middle of the night - it was foggy- I heard a cow, I saw the stars, I took in clean air… I connected with nature.
I cannot reconned this place enough. We are going back again and again just to recharge our batteries. Next time we’ll stay two nights!
The town- -has some amazing little galleries and stores to visit… but the “Glam Tent” is the place to be… GO! The fact that we only stayed one night...
- Johann (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marie (10/5): Exceptional - A real haven
- Perry (10/5): Clean, quiet, comfortable and cosy. - Quiet location. N/A
- Narelle (8/5): Very good - Just beautiful and peaceful The toilet wasn’t emptied and it started to smell
- Heril (10/5): Exceptional -
- Holly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sheela (10/5): Exceptional - Me and my partner spent the New Year’s Eve here as our anniversary is on the 01.01 (terrible date) and we choose this place as it looked great in pictures. This place is 100 times better than the pictures, the owner are so welcoming, the place is tidy and they really work to make you feel at home, every little detail was covered! 100000/10!
- Lidia (10/5): So comfortable and so relaxing. The night sky was brilliant! - Very nice breakfast, thank you. Coffee machine was a bonus. The geodome was so pretty inside.
- Suitiemel (9/5): Superb - Beautiful and relaxing setting with a romantic fireplace and delicious breakfast Nothing at all
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional - This tranquil setting is perfect for escaping reality for a few days. The yurt is spacious and well-equipped with everything you could need. A highlight was the outdoor area surrounded by beautiful gardens, complete with a BBQ, seating area, pizza oven, and fireplace. I will definitely be looking to revisit soon. Nothing not to like!
- Glenn (10/5): What a gem Glamping with a capital G The attention to detail is second to none Where to start everything is so thought - Everything What is there not to like👍
- Elle (10/5): Everything everyone else says it is. - The location was sublime- so restful and quiet, incredibly peaceful. The brekkie was beautiful, everything was fresh and from their own garden with tomatos, eggs, lemons and then avo and pastries/breads. I expected my husband to come along but he didn't make it, which was disappointing, but I really enjoyed my solo stay there. Anthea greeted me and maintained a respectful balance which was considerate and Stu helped sort out some eggs for me. Their little place is a nest bristling with nurture and it's impossible not to be enveloped in the labour of love there. What a gem! There was a candle lighter there but seemed broken or out of fluid?
- Geoffrey (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location.
Lovely little extra touches around the room. Nothing
- Adrian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dunia (10/5): Best stay ever - The views, the fireplace, the host, the quietness, the cleanliness…. Everything was on point

Would be perfect for a couples get away from it all weekend.
