AC in bedrooms and main living area was appreciated Nice book of information very personalised to the cottage. The second bedroom bed mattress is quite hard. Two keys to the front door would be more convenient. While the home has been renovated consider increasing the maintenance. The taps were loose. The tap handle in the laundry was loose and was put back in place a few times. Noted other taps had loose handle nuts. The kitchen sink tap was loose at the base needs tightening to the sink. The general rubbish bin was almost full on our arrival. Had to do a lot of compression to fit rubbish. We put bin out to be emptied so could add waste as we were leaving. It would be nice to prune the vegetation to make a little easier to access the area the bins were stored. The back yard was a little unkept. No impact on our stay. The can open in the kitchen utensils was a little underwhelming and may consider replacing. Just some thoughts you may consider for future guests

- Jenny (10/5): Fantastic stay in central Mildura - We loved this little cottage. It was ideal for the 3 of us but can easily accommodate more. The owners were fabulous- easy to contact and even offered us a late check-out without us asking. We were impressed with the little extra touched that made us feel welcome such as chocolate and wine. We will happily return and would highly recommend Walnut cottage Nothing. It was great!

Enjoyed being in Mildura and the cottage had everything - attractive older building, nicely presented, garden space, parking, kitchen was well equiped, toiletries provided, adequate cooling/heating and enough space Unable to open windows, busy road with traffic noise throughout the night. Most annoying was the neighbours to the right of the cottage had a barking dog which,woke us in early hours every morning

They provided us with everything we needed for an awesome stay in their Cottage. The cutlery, the cooking utensils, the glassware, just everything we needed. The bedding was clean and comfortable. The yard was a great size and the kids enjoyed the swing set. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. That we couldn’t stay for a longer period of time. We loved this little cosy cottage.

Extremely central and excellent value for money. Would recommend a stay here when visiting Mildura. Sandy was extremely helpful and communicative.
