• Andrew (4/5): Disappointing - The location was perfect It had an overwhelming unpleasant smell and one of the rooms hadn't been cleaned thebed sheet was cover in long hair the headboard was very grimey and the was faeces left in the toilet.

The supposed host did not have my booking details The room looked nothing like the photos. The house stunk (not sure of what) There was no secure parking. I did not stay as I did not feel safe. Please read the other reviews as they are not positive at all. I wish o had done it before I booked it.

• Usman (1/5): Terrible - THe neighbours The place was disgusting and dirty and the bedding had already been used. There’s were stains and hair in the bedsheet. The bathroom had been used and the door lock didn’t work. I contacted the owner they ignored my calls and email.

• Tania (6/5): Pleasant - Bed was fine, location was fine. Staff was great & allowed late checkout. Bathroom had little hairs in the sink, floor and bathtub. Marks on all bedsheets. Not clean.
• Karandeep (2/5): For my birthday experience should rent some other property rather than this ,because the cleaning was sooo horrible even - Almost nothing only location was OK Almost everything , no good staff terrible in cleaning condition of the bed room as horrible nothing was clean. Even I said to the staff they just try to neglect this and take care of there on things
• Bode (1/5): Unpleasant... felt scammed - I paid for a room with private bathroom (room 2) since 10am in the morning, arrived at the Lodge about 9:40pm, only to be told the room was double booked and someone else was in. I was offered a stupid room that had to be managed cos it was too late to start looking for another place. What happened to calling me on the phone to inform me earlier so I could get another place?and they insisted the money advertised was cheaper than what they give rooms for...imagine!!!

• Elizabeth (1/5): This is a house of multiple occupancy. Room 7 is very small and has the house boiler in it which is very noisy. Off stre - Nothing The off street parking advertised wasn’t available as the metal bollards on the front were locked in place so we had to park on the street as close as we find. The room was very small and there was no microwave in it so we had to go downstairs and use the communal kitchen, not as the photos implied. The shower was very dirty. There was a large gas boiler on the wall by the bed which fired up every 3-4 minutes continuously as it seemed to serve the whole house. It clicked then whooshed as the boiler fired up, then we heard the gas jets burning for about 2 minutes. It then turned off and started again a few minutes later. The room was very hot, even with windows open. This made sleep impossible. We therefore gave in at about 2am and left the house so slept in the car.

• Raz (3/5): Room 7 Very noisy boiler inside the room running all night - Location is good Communicating with the host is very difficult, he doesn't reply back and after calling many times he answers, but does not reply to txt messages or messages in the app. Boiler was in the room and kept making noise all night could not go to sleep. Mattress had spring popping and it scratches my back.
• Ebrima (2/5): It was a nightmare from arrival to the morning as I couldnt sleep well thinking the state of it. - Location was good and close to shops The room wasnt clean at all and the bedsheet looks like it wasnt changed for a new guest. I saw hair everywhere on the bedsheet and on the floor up to in the bathroom as well.
