Guest Reviews
- Philip (9/5): -
- Hannah (10/5): Fantastic stay for our girls weekend away. It’s close to all the shops and restaurants and the house had everything we n - Beautifully decorated and very homely! Nothing.
- Mandy (10/5): - The house was clean, tidy and comfortable. Lovely welcome pack and set up for Christmas which was a lovely surprise. Great location for walking into town too. The only thing that would make it better would be a parking space, it was difficult at times to find a space on the road but didn't ruin our holiday.
- Linda (10/5): A lovely clean cottage with beds made up and good supply of towels - Toiletries supplied sufficiently for a shot break as well as plenty of tea coffee and milk Could do with more crockery
- Jo (10/5): -
- annemarie o'regan (10/5): - Really comfortable - everything you need. Lovely decor comfortable beds. Nothing all good
- Christine (10/5): We felt really lucky to have found this place to stay. - The location was great. The Poppyline mews was a lovely house and all we needed. Nothing
- Gina (10/5): Nicest place I’ve booked on booking.com! - We had a wonderful stay at poppyline mews and can’t wait to come back in the summer
It has everything you need, is spotless, I stayed in the top bedroom and the bed is so comfortable!
The place is beautiful.
Little welcome basket was very kind and thoughtful.
Fantastic location, easy to park on the road Nothing to dislike at all but if I had to be really picky I think the living room really could do with a lamp and bed an extra couple of pillows but really the place is just fab!
- Paula (10/5): -
- Ruby (10/5): -
- Nicola (10/5): Great place to stay close to everything - Great property has everything you need and it was a lovely touch being left a small hamper.
- Kim (10/5): Perfect family holiday. - This place is lovely and comes highly recommended. Wonderful location and very quiet. Really close to Tesco for all your groceries. 10 minute stroll through the high street to wonderful beaches.
Property is welcoming and quirky which we loved. I loved everything but would suggest a few more pillows on each bed if possible.
- Elaine (9/5): - Lovely property - clean, well maintained and fairly central.
- Julia (10/5): -
- Michael (9/5): - Location was excellent, very close to the town but far enough not to have any disturbance. There was an allocated parking space. Ptoperty was very well thought out and you felt at ease straight away. There wasn't anything not to like here. Perfect bolt-hole, one minute from everything.
- Adrian (9/5): Great location - Well equipped, well located for shops, station, restaurants etc Spiral staircase was awkward to move luggage
- Richard (9/5): An excellent base for a long weekend in Sheringham - Well appointed, clean, comfortable, very handy for old Sheringham (attended the Potties Festival) Those not wanting to live from a suitcase would probably like some storage but I appreciate the space in the property has been very well planned and is excellent for a stay of a few days.
- Bk (10/5): A superb place to stay - When entering the premises they smelt very clean and had a cool atmosphere - it was 28C outside. The welcoming basket of goodies was a nice surprise as was finding milk in the fridge. The quirky arrangement of the house added to its charm whilst making best use of the building. The spiral staircase was a surprise but were challenging if you weren't particularly agile. It was clearly an ideal solution to the compactness of the house. Nothing to dislike really. Perhaps the narrow entry to the courtyard was interesting but parking at the roadside was both plentiful, nearby and free
- Ali (10/5): Wonderful stay - Location, comfort , style and clean Nothing to note
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lilian (8/5): Excellent - Lovely property within walking distance of Sheringham
- Lucy (10/5): Perfect place for a weekend in Sheringham. - Good location, clean and outdoor eating space in courtyard. Nothing worth noting.
- Sophie (10/5): Beautiful little house, great host, very clean and the beds were comfortable:) - Well furnished , clean , cosy house, we loved the decor. The added extras didn’t go unnoticed, the host was lovely and amazing at communicating, we’d love to book again in the near future :)
- Kate (8/5): Despite the above we enjoyed our stay and feel others will too as long as they are aware of the issues. - Stylish and comfortable. Good location Lack of hanging space, rooms over 3 floors with spiral staircase access which I feel should be mentioned in details. V difficult and potentially hazardous esp for older people or those carrying food between floors.
The microwave is in an inaccessible place and therefore unusable as the controls cannot be reached or read.
- Audrey (10/5): Perfect stay in central Sheringham - We had a lovely stay at 4 poppyline mews. It’s in the perfect location in Sheringham in easy walking distance of the town centre, beach, museums, swimming pool, Tesco, and the north Norfolk railway is just across the road. Great for train enthusiasts!
The property was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay including plenty of towels and loo roll and all kitchen equipment and crockery that we needed for our family of four.
Communication with the owner was excellent and we couldn’t have asked for more.
We loved the spiral staircase but it’s probably not ideal for you if you have any mobility issues. We used the breakfast bar in the kitchen and the lovely courtyard for meals downstairs but also to note there is a dining area in the living room one floor up from the kitchen. There is a lovely big bathroom with walk in shower on the ground floor and the double bedroom on the top floor has an en suite with a bath ( no bathroom on the middle floor).
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional - Just a couple of minutes from the town centre, very near the train station.
- Andrew (10/5): Best holiday home! - Beautiful house close to everything you need locally. The place was very clean and decorated lovely would highly recommend and will be returning!!
- Clare (10/5): A long weekend away as a family, a perfect place to relax and enjoy Sheringham - The property is in a really good position to enjoy Sheringham. Easy walk to the shops, sea front and the Poppyline (North Norfolk Railway)
It is comfortable for four people, with everything you need.
Good communication with the owner and no fuss with finding it, keys etc.
- Joe (10/5): Lovely pleace to stay 10/10 - Amazing location. Everything was perfect. Highly recommended.
Thank you, Jo and Simon. Nothing, it was perfect.
- Brian (9/5): Lovely accommodation for a New Year break in Sheringham. - Breakfast was not included but kitchen area was well equipped, overall very satisfied with the accommodation. Nothing to report
- Alison (8/5): Perfect accommodation, would like to return in the summer to enjoy the outside dining area - Perfect location for exploring Sheringham on foot, close to the station and town centre We were a bit cold first night but altered the heating and warmed up.
- Arthur (9/5): Excellent - No breakfast Nothing
- Julie (10/5): Comfortable, relaxing, charming. Absolutely perfect. - The property was absolutely gorgeous, well equipped, spotlessly clean and very stylish.
Everything had been thought of. There was nothing we didn’t like about the property. We loved it all.
- Susan (7/5): a perfect location for 3 Old Fogeys to walk along the Norfolk Coast Path - the location was perfect for the bus and railway stations, the sea, and the town
our host responded quickly to messages
the welcome pack was really welcome!
- Bhogal (10/5): Exceptional - The property was amazingly clean and well equipped. The outdoor dining area was perfect for our needs.
Would definitely stay again. A shame there was no parking allowed, it seems others did park in the courtyard. On street parking was not available and the car park was the only option so please allow for this.
- Allcorn (7/5): Very good indeed if a little small and cramped for me - Very clean and the host was very good at answering any questions in the run up to the visit I am 6'4" so everything felt a little cramped for me, what with the sloping ceilings in the bedroom and bathroom etc - the ceilings also meant there was no where to hang clothes as there were no wardrobes.
- Ryan (9/5): I loved the property and would recommend it - Very comfotable and decorated to a high standard. The house was very homely and the beds and facilities were exceptional. My Brother doesn’t have the use of right arm and having a hand rail of some sort on the spire in the middle would have been helpful.
- Judith (9/5): Superb -
- Simon (10/5): fabulous stay, great location, spotlessly clean - lovely property in a great location. the place was spotlessly clean and has everything you need
- Susan (10/5): Excellent property, very clean, well maintained and stylishly furnished. Loved the stairs. Location perfect. - Very clean and comfortable. Good location. Stylishly furnished and decorated. Enjoyed by ourselves and our grandchildren who are 17 and 14. We would definitely stay again. Excellent property.
- Kathryn (9/5): Superb -
- Marie (10/5): Comfortable and clean. Communication with host was super - Location Parking
- Marie (7/5): More bad than good because of the layout - The problem was stunningly decorated.Love the vibrant colours . Like every holiday rental you find out about the place when you are in. We didn’t like the layout. It was dangerous carrying food upstairs. The stairs were a no for us. It should have a warning for people with limited mobility or for pensioners which we are.Going up and down became tricky. The stools in the kitchen were also a problem for us.Our mistake for not scrutinising.
- Stephen (9/5): Perfect location for our visit to the Pottys Festival. Lovely place to stay. Thank you. -
- Rebecca (9/5): Superb - Perfect location. Very clean and a lovely welcome hamper. Had everything we needed for a weekend away
- Hannah (10/5): A charming little place that was perfect for the three of us. Such thoughtful touches throughout which made us feel righ - The decor, facilities, thoughtful little additions like the nightlight/ torch. Nothing!
- Sean (10/5): One of, if not the best short term holiday we have ever stayed at. Exceptional. - The property is a little gem just across the road from the North Norfolk Railway in the centre of Sherringham. The property on 3 floor is immaculate and decorated to an exceptional standard with everything you need to hand. Each room is unique and very smart. Once people get to know about this property we are sure it will very popular all year round. A real find. Joanne the host could not be more helpful. Nothing we didn’t like!
