• Andreas (8/5): Great stay for a quick stopover. - Great location and amenities available. Parking is a bit constraint. The outdoor shower and bathroom in the one room is a bit of a problem for elderly people and would probably be an issue in winter. It was noted that the outside light fitting at the shower was causing electric shock and should probably not be close to a shower.

• Corne (9/5): Great stay 100% recommended - Great location. The lady who checked us in was an elderly lady and was very nice. The outside bathroom is a great experience and probably the highlight of the weekend. The bed was a medium soft bed and was very comfortable. When the town had water issues, they had a backup solution. Parking is a bit tight, but it was not an issue, just maybe something to improve on.
• Ntsoaki Florence (10/5): Great stay - The location, friendly hosts and pets, beautiful garden and views, the quietness and cleanliness are top tier! It’s budget friendly and also private ❤️ The bed. Everything else is stunning and great except for the bed. It’s uncomfortable and doesn’t give you the rest you need. I feel like if the property managers can change beds, this package would be top tier to the brim, and make guests to want to extent their stay.
• Guest (10/5): My stay was spectacular, I'm definitely coming back - I liked the atmosphere, the host was also very very friendly, she did everything to make us feel at home. What an amazing woman. I'm scared of dogs soo when I first arrived and saw the dogs ,I was scared but the host did everything to make me comfortable and I'm greatful
• Mokgadi (3/5): The stay was basically not nice - I only liked the location of the the Guesthouse as it is closer to the mall and other fast food outlets I hated almost every about the stay. Firstly there were 3 dogs that were just roaming around and disturbing our peace because we were afraid of them and the host was aware of it but did not care to do anything about it. The host was also constantly coming into our space which was very uncomfortable.

• Temoso (10/5): You'll be expecting us again, amazing place. - Everything was amazing, we truly enjoyed our stay there and you'll be expecting us again. And the animals were really friendly. The wifi at the room we were in was really hard to reach us, sometimes it connects and within seconds the signal drops till it disconnects. It happened throughout the days and nights. It might need an extender so that it can reach the area in that room.

• Rachel (10/5): A fantastic second stay - This was our second stay at Leadwood and it won't be our last. The place is beautiful. Maggie is exceptional Nothing we love it here

• Boitumelo (1/5): Wrong Turn - Location Poor Service, False advertising (picture depicts ensuite) - none of the rooms have an ensuite, nor TV or any form of entertainment in the rooms, walking out of the room down the passage hall is a serious inconvenience, too many rules as though one is at school " do this don't do that, they have dogs and this was not disclosed prior - definitely would have not opted for this accommodation especially with none ensuite as well. Not sure if they know why they are in the business of leisure, my money has gone to waste🙁! . I personally would not recommend this place to those who like their own space and do not need to be made to feel as though the guesthouse owner is doing us a favor!

• Phindile (9/5): Superb - I had a lovely weekend away at this guest house. The place was clean, peaceful, and well taken care of, which made the stay really enjoyable. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. The only downside was the bed ,it wasn’t very comfortable, and I think it’s time for an upgrade. Other than that, everything else was great. I’d still recommend it for a relaxing getaway.

And they also had the most adorable dogs there that made our stay extra joyful. The lady that accompanied us to our room was so kind and caring, and so was the owner, loved their hospitality and attention to detail ensuring that we were always happy and comfortable, an excellent guesthouse ! Honestly only the aircon made abit of noise but it wasn't a big issue for us.

• Sheikh (10/5): A stunning, fun, and peaceful retreat—luxury, nature, and a talking parrot all in one! - An absolute gem in Tzaneen! The self-catering setup was perfect, with a fully equipped kitchen and even a bar inside the house. The room was massive and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight? The outdoor shower and inside jacuzzi tub—the best of both worlds! The garden and pool area made for the perfect place to relax, and the WiFi was solid. Plus, the host has the cutest talking parrot, which made the experience even more special! Honestly, it was amazing! If anything, we just wish we had more time to enjoy every part of it—from the jacuzzi to the pool to just chilling with the parrot!

• Jerry (6/5): It was fine - The property was gorgeous. They had the cutest little dogs. The staff was very nice. It was more of a house than a lodge. The owner of the property spent the whole Saturday with her friends at the braai and pool area, drinking and having a blast. It didn't feel professional and dampened the mood for the entire day - we were forced to stay indoors all day as that was the only privacy we were afforded. It was so uncomfortable.

The place is beautiful and clean Not that i did not like but please do solve the leak that comes from the roof i think on the toilet side and the mini kitchen, it was raining at night so in the morning when you going to the toilet theres water all around the toilit and infront of the kitchen cupboard otherwise all was good
