- Samantha (10/5): A great little find in the quiet Yorkshire countryside - A beautiful little find. So comfortable with everything you need including the lovely little touches - it also had log cabin vibes which we loved! The owners were so hospitable and helped us with everything we needed. We went to the jolly farmer which is a fab friendly pub only a stroll up the bank. The Ryedale Vineyard was also a great experience!
- angela (9/5): An excellent get away, we have never stayed anywhere so clean and well equipped. - Beckside lodge is just beautiful and everything you could possible need was provided We both woke in the night uncomfortable from the bed, but it could be very comfortable for others - we are just used to a hard bed.
- Graham (10/5): Perfect! - Everything spot on!!! Nothing all perfect!
- Graham (10/5): -
- Tim (9/5): - Very clean, quiet and perfect for a chill out.
- Michael (9/5): Comfortable and private, pleasant seating. Good friendly host. - Breakfast was self catering, so we went out. Good walk in shower, and plenty of towels supplied. Easy to find. Quiet area, with bird song. I didn't know how to put on the heating as was a little confused by the instructions. However bathroom warmed well by the towel rail.
- Victoria (10/5): Flying visit, but will definitely return! - Hosts were friendly and welcoming but gave me privacy. The cabin was in a separate and private area of their garden. It was spotlessly clean and the attention to detail was amazing! Crisp bedding, fresh towels, efficient heating, complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate and also fresh homemade scones with butter and jam! As a solo traveller, I felt safe here, both in the accommodation and in the area. This was a quick stopover me, but I'll definitely be returning for a longer stay. Thank you so much, Gary and Jennifer - everything was spot on!
- Graham (10/5): Lovely property, so quiet & peaceful! Perfect! - Easy access to property.

Everything needed for our stay.
Hosts are very obliging and helpful. Nothing! Everything is spot on!
- Caroline (10/5): Absolutely bloomin brillant! - Wonderful location.
Peaceful, just the sound of the birds chirping.
Parking
Every little thing has been thought of, from the wine, beer and homemade scones to the face wipes in the bathroom and the dvds and games in the cupboard.
Very friendly owners, gave us early check in.
Welcome folder full of really helpful local info

- Grace (10/5): - They provide almost everything, they are so welcoming and provide all information needed about the lodge and the area around. We found the pub nearby was super busy as it’s quite small so we went into malton and found a pub there and it was amazing! Malton is such a lovely place and the owners of the lodge were so lovely It’s very warm however a fan is provided
- Jones (8/5): Awesome people and very nice - Location clean and the people was very kind and helpful Only one thing tbh the shower when turned to high and hot the pressure would go very low

The host thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and cosy.
The home made scones were delicious 😋, travel slippers were a lovely surprise and everything you could need in the kitchen.
I would happily stay here again.😀 The cabin was chilly 🥶 at first but on the second night it warmed up very nicely.😀
- Sarah (10/5): - Cosy and warm little lodge with beautiful surrounding areas. Extremely clean and had everything we needed! The hosts absolutely made our experience- we stayed Christmas Eve and they popped round to give us a bottle of prosecco, chocolates and a Christmas card! Such a lovely gesture we will 100% be back! - Karen (10/5): -
- Paul (10/5): Great location and generous hosts - Lovely little warm cosy lodge There was a clicking noise in the room through the night, no other review has flagged it(I'm aware of) so maybe it was just that night
- Chloe (9/5): Relaxing - Me & my husband came for one night. Lovely lodge . Complimentary scones on arrival & a drink each in the fridge . The bed was very comfy.
Host was friendly met us on arrival & gave us the keys . Showed us where everything was & turned the heating on. Didn’t go but a pub local in the village . Overall nice stay . Everything was lovely .
- Sarah (10/5): Stunningly decorated and cozy with friendly owners who clearly care - The attention to detail was incredible- everything had been thought of and it felt so spacious and peaceful - the welcome scones, sweets and drinks plus the personal welcome from the owners along with the super comfy bed, hot shower and beautiful unique lamps all made it an amazing stay Only constructive feedback we could think of would be to maybe devise a cover to hide the radiator light as it was quite bright at night (although nice and toasty warm)

- Stephen (10/5): - The hosts were friendly and helpful. The accommodation was cosy and warm. They provided staples like bread, milk and eggs etc. Off road parking. Set in its own garden area with outdoor seating and barbecue. Perfect for a cosy break. Scenic area to explore and places like York only a shirt drive away. Would definitely stay again. Nothing to mention here.

- sarah (10/5): Perfect - Attention to detail. Nothing- it was wonderful
- Justin (9/5): -
- Mark (10/5): - Nice lodge in a lovely quiet area. Some lovely homemade Scones, and other items left for us. Owners very welcoming.
- Julie (8/5): Lovely location, very helpful hosts, and very well equipped modern accommodation - Beautiful setting, felt like entering a sweidsh chalet - everything was modern, well equipped, very impressed. The bed was very comfortable and it was all very cosy. The shower was very difficult to get a temperature that was not super hot or freezing, and with very little power. Also the light on the heater in the bedroom could not be turned off - had to turn off the heater completely and cover the light with a pillow
- Denise (10/5): Excellent, amazing find. - The property was spotless & had everything we needed and more.
- Emily (10/5): - The place was amazing, so clean, surroundings beautiful Nothing to complain about at all

- Hammond (8/5): nice lodge but not for us - lots of special touches bread butter cheese wine and lots of other food left for us .toiletries bathrobes and slippers .lovely garden area a bit further out of Malton than we thought parking not the best as quite a walk to lodge and going in and out of parking area had to very careful as a beck ran alongside narrow road we had to use. sofa was very uncomfotable .
- Jonathan (10/5): -
- Selina (10/5): - We stayed at beckside Lodge for our anniversary and we couldn't have asked for more. It was spotlessly clean had everything you needed. We loved how unusually quirky it was inside but also modern! Loved the little touches of treats on arrival. Overall our needs was met. Would defiantly recommend.
- Elizabeth (10/5): As a solo female traveller it was a perfect location to be able to travel around the area and return to a quiet retreat - Well equipped, very clean, has character furnishings along with modern facilities.
Unexpected complimentary welcome pack of food , milk etc. No concerns
- Simon Roffe (10/5): Spot on - Lovely cosy place, exactly to requirements. Nothing - all very good.
- Scott (10/5): Fantastic, will definitely stay again. - What a great lodge you have here. Very clean, smelled nice, tidy and equipped with everything you need. Owners on hand and are accommodating.
Comfy bed, handy desk for working from, bathroom is brill with a big sink, WiFi is quick (was getting around 70Mbps) and had reasonable signal on EE.
Absolutely LOVED the treats (milk, eggs, bread, scones, etc) really was brilliant knowing I could have a cuppa and breakfast in the morning after arriving late.
Will definitely stay again! Thanks!! Bit tricky to find in the dark, Google Maps puts it on the other side of the road. There is a sign though.
Curtains in bedroom let through quite a lot of light.
Shower pressure not powerful. Keep both dials at 12 o clock for consistent heat.
All minor things. Loved the stay overall.
- Keenan (10/5): Lovely, comfortable stay. I will be visiting again very soon! - How quiet, relaxing and comfortable it was. The welcome was brilliant they could not be more accommodating. How relaxing and comfortable it was. Especially the quiet it was amazing and I will be visiting again.

- Harris (10/5): Fantastic stay in a wonderful lodge - We had a fantastic one night stay which was faultless. A lovely lodge in a peaceful setting. Everything was spotless and it is very well equipped and thought out. The bed was very comfortable and the outside space was nice on a warm weekend. Location is in a quiet village so a car is necessary but parking is on site. Highly recommended.
- Gillian (9/5): Comfortable, clean and well equipped little cabin. - This is a well thought out little cabin with good facilities, including a fan as the weather was hot. You are literally in the back garden of the owner's house but it feels private due to the hedges. The owners are helpful but not intrusive. Be aware that the cabin is accessed via gravel paths so you cannot roll a suitcase but have to carry it. That was not an issue for me but might be for others.
- Dana (10/5): Gary & Jennifer literally thought of everything and more! - Everything was absolutely perfect, the more you look around the more you see how much effort has been put into this little haven gem and Gary & Jennifer have literally thought of everything. Absolutely beautiful stay, could not rate any standard lower than a 10/10. You can book knowing you’re in for a real treat and are properly looked after to the extra millionth mile. Gorgeous and deserves to be fully booked all year round! We will 200% be back! Nothing at all, cannot be faulted.
- Warriner (8/5): Very good -

- Mel (10/5): My stay was lovely and if I'm in the area again Will definitely stay. - I really loved my stay here. The couple who run it were really welcoming but also gave me my own space. It's not overlooked by their house either despite being in their garden.
On arrival they had bread, eggs cheese, scones, jam etc which I thought was a really nice touch.
The local pub (The Jolly Farmer) is family run and does excellent food. There wasnt anything I didn't like.

- Sherry (9/5): Quiet and comfortable - Quiet location, lovely comfortable lodge, very clean and well thought out, great hosts, lovely touches of homemade scones and jam and welcome drinks.
- Peter (10/5): Excited to return - Excellent location, clean, comfortable bed, Gary and Jennifer were excellent hosts, fantastic starter pack included very nice touch, sitting out area veranda was a peaceful area with the garden being a sun trap, the only positive criticism I could possibly give was the induction hob it was difficult to understand as never used one before but as there's a lovely pub minutes from the Lodge I ate out, my fault entirely as I am sure I would have been assisted if asked for the help, I loved the place so much I booked it again with in three hours of getting home for another week in July, this time I am taking my wife, really reccomend. Peter. Couldn't say that I didn't like anything I loved my stay. Peter
