- Suzanne (9/5): The Starlite was a good choice for the price. - The room was very clean. It was nice having covered parking. The mattress was very very firm. It was hard on my joints. Towels were very thin.

- Brian (10/5): Good overall for the price - Spacious room and like the appliances with the big refrigerator and microwave and stove. Towels for shower seemed like old hand towels so newer towels would be nice. Beds are very firm and pillows are very flat
- Lynne (10/5): Nice! - Lots of room, clean and comfortable.
- Kathy (8/5): Fine except expected a little more. - Pleasant, nice kitchen set up Very minimal amenities. No paper towels or tissues.
- Kathryn (8/5): We were pleased, and would stay again if the occaision called for it. - overall, a great experience. We were pleasantly surprised to find there was a nice kitchenette. Full size fridge, small microwave and two burner stove. However, there were no cooking or eating supplies. We would like to see updated mattresses. Ours was okay, not awful, but definitely not up to the most modern standards. Also, commode was very low, a bit hard to rise from for many senior travelers.
- Edward (7/5): Motel is dated but clean, the wifi was intermittent - Location was near where I wanted to be WIFI
- Leilani (2/5): -
- Brenda (4/5): -
- Kelly (10/5): Don't let the outside fool y - It was clean comfortable, it was quiet, nice big frig, a stove top, don't let the outside fool you, considering we needed a handicap room, you can get around the room and living area, bathroom was not wheel chair accessible, the toilet was close enough to help wife from chair to toilet, we only spent one night, the desk was very friendly Furniture was outdated but comfortable and they need coffee in room
- Tony (10/5): - Clean and spacious room π.
- Serge (7/5): Nice and convenient place to stay despite some shortcomings I indicated. - The locarion of the motel, cleanliness With a fridge and a microwave, there was no cutlery. -There should be a mat in the tub to prevent someone from slipping. - No hanging hook in the bathroom. These are not expensive and should be added.
- Drew (9/5): clan, nice staff, well priced -
- Anderson (7/5): Our stay was short but very nice. I like jeavy - Super old but super clean and comfortable No coffee in room
- Dunn (10/5): A home away from home - The settleness. The world is loud at times, this location is very peaceful.

- Mary (10/5): A Good Value for Your Stay in Mesa - I have stayed at The Starlite Motel before, and will surely stay there again whenever I need to spend time in the Phoenix area. This place is conveniently located to just about anything that you would want to do in Phoenix. It is extremely clean --- and, it is safe. The staff is friendly and helpful.
- Robbie (10/5): Wonderful host - Bob the owner was a great host. He was friendly and very helpful with the local area. The room was clean and located closer than most other hotels in the same price range to the Mesa-Gateway airport. He also sells quality souvenir t-shirts with their diving sign on the front. I bought 2 (one of each color)
- Joe (10/5): Very comfortable - Was very clean Everything was good
- Tony (10/5): - Plenty of space, clean π.
- Luis (6/5): - That it was available Bed toilet pillow air conditioner was really loud couldn't sleep
- Rosita (10/5): - Great!!
- Ivan (10/5): Comfortable Bed, Bath and Kitchen. - 3 Rooms: Kitchen with table, Bathroom and Bedroom. Comfortable King bed and very convenient to where car is parked, large parking area. Modern bathroom facilities and normal TV with stations. Great place to spend the night. No lobby at hotel and no breakfast. Kitchen had no tools (serving utensils or eating utensils). Shower head was not completely adjustable as it shot toward the back and hard to lather up without getting wet, but still a nice shower, large with no tub (which I didn't need).
- Rita (10/5): I would come back here any time - Every one was friendly nice the room was clean had every thing we needed for our stay even tho it is older place they take good care of it
- Kevin (8/5): -
- Brian (10/5): -
- Hill (8/5): - How clean it was! Bed could've been more comfortable!
- Lori (8/5): It was OK - Rooms spacious I couldnβt get the TV to work and when I tried to call the front desk, nobody ever answered
- Hackett (8/5): -
- greg (7/5): I loved the stay . I would stay there again - Location. Staying at a nostalgic motel that many have been tore down . Pillows and towels were stained needed to be replaced .
- Gerald (8/5): -
- Catherine (9/5): Enjoyed my stay! - Very clean property inside and out. Wonderful grounds. No dishware , silverware, coffee maker and no hair dryer in unit. I would have expected this since it was a full kitchenette unit.

- Samstag (10/5): - Nostalgia.Love the Neon "Diving Lady" sign
- Mathew (8/5): Very good -
- Gail (6/5): Pleasant - It a very cute place and the stuff was great The bed was very hard and the pillows were too big
- John (9/5): Superb - This place is a piece of Mesa's history, and is very well maintained. With little bungalow style kitchenette
- Jason (6/5): Pleasant - Clean and spacious room. Wifi and TV didn't work. Room was very outdated (not unexpected given the price). Bed and pillows were not comfortable. Overall sketchy feel to the place.
- Tami (8/5): Very good -
- Nick (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shepherd (10/5): We enjoyed our stay. Very nice and affordable. - The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly. There wasn't a coffee maker in the kitchen, but we brought our own.
- Marjorie (8/5): Great value, clean and comfortable. We will be back. - Finding a clean comfortable, affordable place to stay during spring break was our aim. Staff was friendly, updates on this old facility have been done with care. Good a/c. Bonus was the kitchenette in a separate room. no luxury here, and no extras, but great value.. Comfortable bed, walk in shower! Kitchenette has microwave, refrigerator/freezer and sink. Nothing else No coffee maker, mugs ,or bowls.
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (7/5): Just what I was looking for. - This is a very basic motel. It is dated, but improvements have been made, notably with the bathroom. The room was clean, comfortable, and very quiet. It's single story, so no noise from above. The mattress was good - not sagging or lumpy. There is a kitchenette which I wasn't expecting, though I didn't use it. A parking garage was right next to my room. The towels were on the thin side, but they were clean. Could use some new pillows for the bed.
- Nick (8/5): Very good -
- Bryan (9/5): Cozy and convenient - I like the car port and kitchen. They took was very comfortable. Wifi could have been better but it's due to the distance from the room to the Access point
- Timothy (9/5): Superb -
- Tony (10/5): Exceptional - Quite, clean and friendly Outdated furniture but it was clean and functional
- Mcclish (1/5): Bad - Easy parking smoking okay other than that it sucked Air conditioner sucked mattress dirty floor sticky
- Kris (8/5): Very good - Vintage motel. Kitchenette ( not stocked) clean bathroom. Friendly staff. On bus line. Can park outside your door. Close to everything. If ordering food delivery, ask for utensils. Wish the pool was still there, but the price is great and I love the diving lady sign.
- Cynthia (8/5): ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ» - Kitchen has a full size fridge, stove top for cooking and microwave. They have daily and weekly rates. Very quiet, and with a walk in closet. My queen size bed was comfortable and the room in size was very spacious and comfortable for 2 people. And bathroom was nice. No tub in my room, just a large spacious shower. I definitely would recommend staying here.
- Quinette (10/5): Stayed a few weeks. - The quietness The air conditioner was loud
- Janay (5/5): Expensive cheap motel - Location Price for amenities
- Diane (6/5): Clean but the kitchenette wasn't usable. - It's clean and it has a cool sign. Nice big refrigerator. The kitchenette didn't have any items to make it useful - no pots or pans, no utensils, no coffee maker. Towels were imcredibly thin and small.
- Freda (9/5): Superb - Traditional single storey motel in a quiet location. Comfortable room with a kitchen . Recently refurbished and decorated, and spotlessly clean.
- Quinette (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verlaine (8/5): Very good - Cute place. Bed not very comfortable.
- Laurel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Molly (2/5): Grey thinning towels, loud outdated kitchen appliances preventing sleep. Very disappointing. - I liked that I didn't have to pay over $300 a night for the hotel near the conference I was attending, but I definitely regret choosing Starlight. The family does not reinvest into their business. The hotel room towels and sheets were ancient, the towels were thinning and had faded to a dark grey. The room itself had old outdated technology including a fridge with a cacophonous compressor that went off every single hour and prevented me from getting any sleep whatsover both nights. Dirty floors, stained sheets, mismatched flooring, a random bunching of different coat hangers. It was dingey. The sign outside is missing lights/letters. It was just really disappointing to see such a vintage-looking neat place not getting any TLC or reinvestment. Starlight could be something great, instead my memory will forever be a lack of sleep and those grey thinning towels. Internet did not work at all! Zero connection! The more I think about it the more I am angry that they got my money.
- Wrochella (1/5): I was really a bad stay. Do not stay here - The check out was at 10a. I think this was like a drug hotel the way they talk to you. We did not know they did not accept pets so the lady was really rude. I didnt like anything about the hotel
- John (7/5): Good -
- James (3/5): Poor - Nothing Bed was bad
Towels were like rags
Tv remote didn't work
No ice machine
Small room
Kitchenette was a joke
- Christopher (9/5): Superb -
- Jerome (8/5): Pleasantly surprised - I was pleasantly surprised as my expectations for a 2 star motel much lower. The retro neon sign lit up at night was fantastic! Better cleanliness in the bathroom. Someone elseβs hair in the shower and behind the door.
- Scott (5/5): Passable -
- Tony (8/5): Very good - Immaculately clean for a roadside inn. Stayed here for Final Four due to the whole Phoenix area price gouging and it was a fine stay
- Robert (6/5): Nothing to write home about - Clean. Price was fair. Parking One pillow. No blanket. No coffee anywhere.
- Michelle (6/5): Off to the Renaissance Fair in Gold Canyon - The location was great - right on the way to the Renaissance Fair. It's close to restaurants, especially Organ Stop Pizza! This property is a classic motor hotel from the past, with the neon sign to boot. The bed wasn't comfortable. Not the worst ever, but still bad. It also made lots of noise when we sat on it, like sheet metal that wasn't bolted down like it should have been. We had a good time making noise plopping on the bed, ha ha.
- Preston (10/5): Exceptional -
- Himelright (4/5): never again - nothing toilet size for little people
- Robert (8/5): Very good - Cost per night and no services e.g. breakfast, pool etc
- Margaret (7/5): Good - No dishes in kitchenette
- Joseph (8/5): Very good - Easy locat I on great off interstate food drinks right close Woul have liked a coffe maker in room
- Tim (8/5): Good decision to stay here en route to LA - Nice room, big kitchen, carport A little expensive
- Alesa (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (7/5): Good - Clean, soft bed and quiet No Coffee supplies
- Patrick (8/5): The room was immaculately clean, and had surprising features like a carport and a kitchenette. - I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the room. I was also surprised to realize there is a carport to park in next to the room. Aside from some of the dated furniture which doesnβt bother me in the least, there really is nothing. The fact that it was meticulously clean was very noticeable and a driving factor in my decision to provide a positive review.
- Isidore (5/5): Passable -
- Alesa (7/5): Good parking, clean room - Close Address of town
- Brittany (10/5): Amzing - They ket me check in early after I had been driving all night. It was wonderful to finally get off the road and get some sleep. I couldn't of asked for a better place. I would most definitely stay there again. There nothing I didnt like about the place. I was so surprised at the whole place and the kitchen was amazing. I kind of wished there was tub in the room. The shower was really hot and worked great
