• Dan (10/5): Clean and cozy - Sparkling clean, with all you need and more. Despite being just a stop on a longer journey, we had a wonderful time in this cozy apartment. The location is perfect, in the center of Szentgothart, a beautiful and picturesque small town. No such things

• Daniel (8/5): Very good - Klaudia is a helpful host. Cleanliness. Lovely design (the bedroom is the exception because it has a painting that doesn't flow with the overall modern motifs). Functional kitchen. Fast internet connection. Quiet neighbours. Fantastic pastry shop (Kis edes) across the road. The bed is new but the mattress is too soft unless you are very thin (I weigh 82 kilos and couldn't. I slept on the sofa). The sofa is comfortable but naturally less so than a proper bed with a firm mattress would be. The bed sheets present upon check in were synthetic with the exception of the sheet that covers the mattress which is made of cotton (I used it to partially cover the sofa). The distance from Graz is 60 km. & I wanted to explore North East Slovenia but public transport connections are totally absent for Slovenia (it is bizarre. The border is 15 km. away) and poor for Graz. For those on a day trip to Graz there are only two Austrian trains in the day time and they leave at 11:54 and 13:04. The train wagons appear modern but they surprisingly lack standard facilities such as phone chargers, WiFi, water for washing hands in the WC (!). They are also too hot when the sun is shining. The journey time is 2 hours (plus 15 minutes walk to the station in Szentgotthard). On a typical day I commuted 4.5 hours to remain in Graz for 3 or 5 hours. I was also not able to visit Maribor though it takes only an hour to reach by train from Graz because the last train from Graz to Szentgotthard leaves at 20:00 (weekdays as well as weekends). There are more frequent connections with Hungarian trains but they are expensive and don't provide free travel in the city. Szentgotthard is a small town so the apartment's central location is not an advantage. The supermarket and fruit shop are useful but the bakeries and restaurants in the town center are a disappointment and the ice cream not advisable due to high content of artificial colours and preservatives. In the early morning hours cars do not respect the speed limits and it gets uncomfortably noisy if you leave the windows open.
