• Luiza (7/5): Excelente se você caí em um quarto bom - O quarto em que nós colocaram no fim era muito confortável com janela, tinha um banheiro no andar, a voluntária brasileira Tai e a Lava, foram excepcionais com a gente. Muito atenciosas mesmo!! Adorei que os voluntários levam os hóspedes para passear de graça em pub crawl, no mercado, etc. excelente experiência! Dei nota baseada na minha experiência final. No entanto, acho importante falar que a princípio tinham nos colocado em um quarto no andar d embaixo todo arrumadinho mas com MUITO cheiro de mofo. A Lava e a Tai foram INCRÍVEIS e trocamos de quarto para um muito melhor. Se não tivessem nos trocado não sei se teríamos conseguido ficar. Mesmo com ar condicionado estava insustentável. Tem muitos banheiros em muitos andares e alguns são chuveiro junto com privada muito apertadinho. Outros são cabine só com chuveiro, mais espaçosa. Com a troca de quarto minha experiência foi ótima! Mas fica o alerta sobre o mofo no andar de baixo. Penso que como sabem dessa questão ou não anunciam esses quartos ou resolvem o problema sem ter que esperar o hóspede pedir pra mudar. Aquele primeiro quarto era insalubre para qualquer pessoa. Deu dor de cabeça de ficar 15min lá mesmo com a porta aberta e o ar ligado. Inviável. Precisam resolver isso.

• Dídac (1/5): - Reserve una habitación , y al entrar en ella no se podía respirar del mal olor a humedad , Al comentarlo no me pusieron ningún problema en devolverme el dinero ya que el hotel está todo lleno , Pagué 70 euros y me han devuelto 66 ( imagino que es por el cambio de moneda ) Lo que me molesta más no es el dinero , es que le hagan perder el tiempo a uno , sabiendo que esa habitación apesta a humedad y que no se puede estar en ella POR FAVOR NO ALQUILEn HABITACIONES QUE no ESTÁN EN BUENAS CONDICIONES PARA ALOJARSE . POR FAVIR RESPETEN A LAS PERSONAS Y SEAN HONESTOS !!

• Tess (6/5): De beoordelingen en foto’s van de accomodatie voldeden niet aan wat wij aantroffen. - De geografische ligging, je zit centraal dus je bent overal zo. De accommodatie zat naast de moskee waar wij meermaals overdag en ook ‘s nachts overlast van ervaarden. In de gemeenschappelijke ruimtes en gangen hing vaak een urinegeur. De badkamers werden slecht schoongemaakt dus waren onhygiënisch. Het pand is slecht onderhouden. Hoewel bijna alle kamers vrij waren werden wij eerst boven geplaatst waar we veel overlast ondervonden van het geluid van de moskee. Toen we gevraagd hadden om in een andere kamer te verblijven kregen wij twee opties, één waar het geluid nog steeds keihard te horen was en een andere die veel kleiner was en stonk. Later bleek het te stinken omdat de kussens onder de schimmel zaten. Ons beddengoed zat ook onder de vlekken. Ik snap dat de prijs voor deze accommodatie relatief laag is, maar basis hygiëne mag je altijd wel verwachten, zoals een schoon bed of kussens zonder schimmel. Toen we dit aankaartten bij de gastheer kregen we nieuwe kussens. Bijna alle kamers waren vrij, dus na het aangeven van de enorme overlast van de moskee is het bizar dat ons niet werd aangeboden naar een ruime, schonere kamer maar dat we werden verplaatst naar een kamer met schimmel en die ook een stuk kleiner was dan de kamer waar wij voor hebben betaald. Gênante service.

• MalteStei (9/5): - The location is in the center of the old town in Georgetown, so exactly where you want to stay. This Hostel actually has more locations than this one, what we didn't know. There are events by the volunteers you can join every day, so it's also good to meet other people. Like in almost every other Malaysian hostels the toilet and shower are one room. The rooms are not soundproof, so you can hear the people in the room nextdoor. No big complaints tho. We had a great stay and the rooms value is good.
• Inés (8/5): - Es gibt einen Volunteerservice, der abends zu gemeinsamen Veranstaltungen einlädt. Eine gemeinsame Küche mit Kaffee und Tee Das Haus ist super verschachtelt und auch der Eingang durch den Donutsladen schwierig zu finden. Auf Zimmer mit Fenster achten.

• Milizi (4/5): Du faux underground avec un vrai esprit marchand - La situation géographique Le style hébergement primitif et troglodyte. La chambre edifiee juste sous l'escalier ce qui permettait de profiter de chaque passage sur les marches.
• Philémon (8/5): - l'hostel est très bien placé. Il y a une kitchenette qui est très pratique et plutot bien équipée. Il y a beaucoup de sanitaires, on a jamais eu à faire la queue pour accéder aux douches et toilettes. Tout est très propre. Y a zéro rangements dans les chambres. Les chambrzs sont mal isolées et l'hôtel insiste pas assez sur les heures silencieuses (on dormait à côté de la kitchenette et des gens mangeaient à 2h du matin en parlant très fort meme quand on leur demandait de baisser le volume). L'hôtel fournit des boules quies mais elles étaient insuffisantes. Aussi il n'y avait pas de fenêtres dans la chambre.

• Barry (9/5): Very good location staff and facilities for the price - Staff were super helpful. Great central location. Facilities very good for the price. Shared toilet and showers were clean and plentiful. Decent kitchen facilities, and pleasant communal relaxation areas. Good security, multiple digital entry doors. Activities organised by staff are a bonus, eg night market excursion, and a pub crawl, including historic bar, cocktail bar live music bar and nightclub. Thank you host and guide Mauro. Overall a great experience, and good value for money Onĺy minor inconvenience and reason for 9 rating instead of 10 was hearing people in other room, and particularly above, even when talking quietly though earplugs are provided. Shouldnt be a problem for experienced hostelers though, and other benefits more than make up for this

• Gabija (7/5): - Location is good, did the check in online so didnt really talk to any staff. Bed was nice, enter the doors with key code. Had a microwave, fridge, coffee. Didn't expect it to feel like a prison haha 😅 room was pretty clean but common area and showers/toilets could be better definitely. Didnt have a window in a room, but slept good as it was dark. Could hear other people, but mostly it was fine. Also it was kinda a hard to find as the entey is some kind of donut shop? Neighbours showed me the way.

• Fearghal (9/5): - The location was brilliant. So central to everything. Bed was very comfortable and the place was kept very clean. We stayed 5 nights and house keeping was also offered. The room was bigger than we expected and is bigger than what it shows in the photos. The hosts organised evening activities between all group of hostels which was nice to make it more social also. Best value for money in the area from what I can gather. Would definitely book again. Really enjoyed our stay Everything can be heard from the surrounding rooms. Walls are so thin. Ear plugs are provided, notices on the wall about quiet times all around the hostel. Not the hostel's fault some people can't show common decency to other people staying. Not sure what else the hostel can do, but it did slightly impact our stay

Construction works were underway when I visited, which probably impacted my stay a little! Rooms were secure with keypad access. Note that sound travels a lot in the rooms, but earplugs (and towels) were provided! Room was cleaned before we checked in. Management was communicative and helpful.

They provide earplugs to shut off noise from other guests and nearby mosque. The staff is very attentive and quick to help with anything. The place also has some initiatives to promote socialization between the guests. The room didn't have a window and the design on the place could be a bit more welcoming. The pillows weren't the best and the room maybe could use an overhead light and some shelves.

Great location if you'd like to explore the historical areas of the town. Cogimos 3 habitaciones, una doble, una triple y una individual. En la individual se coló un ratoncito, les mande un mensaje y a los 2 minutos me cambiaron la habitación. Muy rápidos y muy majos. El aire acondicionado funcionaba bien. Y los baños comunes estaban limpios.

• Eva (5/5): Direkt neben Moschee - In der Beschreibung fehlt, dass die Unterkunft direkt neben einer Moschee liegt und somit um 5:00 Uhr das erste Mal zum Gebet gerufen wird u um sechs und um 7:00 Uhr wird man wieder geweckt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr verwinkelt angelegt mit vielen Badezimmern was positiv ist. Der Lärmpegel ist dennoch relativ hoch Das Personal hat sich sehr freundlich gezeigt.

• Shane (10/5): - When I met the architect behind the developing vision, I realised Aayu Seck Chuan is run by good people who have to abide by conservation of historical building rules. There’s lots of spaces to relax in. It’s super quiet. The property is undergoing renovations near the accommodation area. So it’s a work in progress. Occasionally smells from resin or paint waft near entrance on ground floor. I couldn’t smell in my room or upstairs I was given an upgrade in room perhaps because of these smells.
• Piagnani (7/5): - The accommodation is nice and very central. There are many toilets and a common space with a table and a small kitchen. The staff is very responsive and welcoming. We booked two double rooms, however one was quite small and there was barely the space to walk inside. The other one was bigger as there were two beds instead of one of one and a half size for two people. The rooms are very ‘essential’ and not much space where to put stuff.

• Diana (7/5): Pratique et confort - L'hébergement correspondait à la description. Il est grand et encore en travaux quand j'y étais. Il semple être nouveau. Le femme qui m'a accueillie était très sympa. Les murs sont fins et l'insonorisation avec les voisins pas top. J'entendais mes voisines mais ça s'est bien passé dans le respect de tous. Je pense que c'est dû au fait qu'ils n'ont pas finis les travaux, le lieu résonne encore un peu.

• Valeria Alejandra (8/5): Aceptable - La ropa de cama y la toalla estaban muy limpias y eso es algo a destacar, al igual que la amabilidad del personal y la ubicación del hospedaje. El lugar olía a humedad en la planta baja. La cama y la almohada eran incómodas, y como tiene paredes de paneles se escucha todo. La gente es realmente ruidosa y no entiende el concepto de “quiet hours”. Además, el hospedaje está muy cerca de una mezquita, por lo cual desde las cinco de la mañana en adelante te despiertan las oraciones y cantos.

También ha sido muy amable y servicial para lo que necesitara. El alojamiento tiene una excelente relación calidad/precio. Yo estuve en una habitación sencilla con aire acondicionado, estaba muy cómodo. Las áreas comunes se mantenían limpias. La ubicación inmejorable, me permitió visitar los lugares del centro con facilidad.

• Francesco (9/5): - Il ragazzo che ci ha accolti è stato molto gentile. La struttura ha tutto quello che serve, comprese le cose per fare colazione (pane, caffe e te). Camera minimal pulita. Bagni comuni puliti e non ho mai incontrato nessuno. Ci hanno dato oltre alla biancheria anche set spazzolino/dentifricio e i tappi per me orecchie (visto le pareti molto sottili sono stati utili). L’indirizzo che ci ha mandato su whatsapp era sbagliato quindi ci abbiamo messo un po a trovare l’appartamento.
