- Areti (1/5): Traumatising experience. Shocked by Booking service. Not even in Bolivia or Indonesia did I experience such terrible con - This has been by far the worst experience in Booking. The property had a good rating and I was totally shocked when I realised I was sharing the flat with 13 cockroaches. 13. Everywhere, in the bathroom, in the kitchen, on the floor, on the wall, in the bed!!! I was there with my 2 year old and I spent 3 nights in terror after which I moved to a different hotel. The response was these are “wood roaches” and not cockroaches. I am shocked by the customer service of Booking who are yet to refund me for the night I DID NOT spend in the property. I would have expected better.. As above, I am still traumatised by the experience. Not even the location was good. Cockroaches in the building (very old building) apart from the flat which was constantly with closed doors and windows. There are Hotels in central Wien for same amount of money and spa facilities. And sparkling clean.
