- Gracija (10/5): A sanctuary - It's a beautiful, quiet space always with the sound of the flute in the background. The rooms are well sized, there is constant hot running water and their restaurant is excellent. I'd always stay here again. Nothing
- Rekha (9/5): - Very aesthetic and peaceful ambience.
- Apurvi (9/5): Outstanding - Peaceful, great food and outstanding service All good
- AAB (10/5): spiritual and relaxing stay. - Murungaikai soup was awesome. and the shop inside the resort was so good. we liked the Jothidam, pottery and poo kattum idam. nothing

- Sarah (9/5): - L’accueil et le personnel est top 👍 Le petit déjeuner manque de variété.
- Christina (9/5): Your Best Stay in Thiru - Wonderful Place to stay in Thiru. After 19 years all is still very lovely and unique. Best Breakfast with excellent local food selection. With Tuk Tuk You reach Ramana Ashram in 12 Minutes. I appreciate they Provide drinking water and juices and small Snacks in the Room for free. I am coming since many years, NOW is the time to do some Renovation of cottages and rooms before they get too aged. Aircon in some rooms doesnot work properly and also bit noisy. Best time to visit December and January. Now in February is already hot up to 34 degrees and humid.

- Leonie (10/5): Really beautiful, such a soft landing and just an amazing place - just the place you want to go when you travel to Tiruvannamalai
beautiful, and lovely
soft landing. The bed was heaven! They really make sure you have a good time. 24/7 reception. When you need a tuk tuk they arrange it for you immediately. Always at your service. And we asked for a late check out and it was no problem at all. Will def be back! all was well
- Olivia (10/5): - Det fantastiske personale, og de dejlige omgivelser og faciliteter. Der er ikke en finger at sætte på opholdet, alt var over forventning.
10/10.
- Yubendhren (2/5): Very bad - Toilets where bad smelling
No hot water - and when it did become hot it was limited
Management did not seem very interested
- Sekaran (3/5): Overall, this stay was unacceptable due to poor hygiene, poor service, and disregard for safety. - We were extremely disappointed with our stay, especially given that we were travelling as a family of five. We were allocated two rooms in two different buildings, which was very inconvenient and stressful.
To make matters worse, I had a stress fracture in my left foot and specifically requested a downstairs room, but this was not accommodated. When I asked to speak to the manager, we were told she was “on leave” and that there was no one else available to escalate the issue to. It felt like the hotel completely disregarded basic health and safety concerns, which is unacceptable.
The staff were absolutely shocking this time — they seemed disinterested, unhelpful and, at times, rude, especially at reception. The room condition was also very poor:
- The toilet area was wet, and the bidet was leaking
- The towels were disgusting, almost black, and looked like they hadn’t been replaced in years
What was also disturbing was the way the hotel seemed to disregard their own staff’s wellbeing. The luggage trolley was broken, and staff had to carry our heavy luggage manually, which is unfair and unsafe for them. A hotel should provide proper equipment and support to protect both guests and staff.
The restaurant was equally disappointing. We were told it was “only buffet”, yet we noticed à la carte being offered to other guests, which felt like a double standard. Even the buffet itself was poorly managed — at one point there were only two naans available while at least ten people were waiting.
Apparently the ownership has changed, and it is very noticeable — the previous standards, service and overall vibe are clearly gone. Unfortunately, we would not return.

- Arijit (8/5): - Very clean and beautiful surroundings. Staff behaviour and helpfulness.
- Nagarajan (6/5): Too high a price for what is in offer. Otherwise everything was good. - Breakfast was okyish It is exorbitantly priced for what it offers, If the price was around 6 or 7k, I would rate everything excellent.. 12.5k for a room is too much on the higher side and for that price I expected much more
- Karthik (8/5): -
- Kumar (10/5): Amazing stay would come back again loved the food especially palaya soruu - Everything was amazing Na
- Roya (10/5): - It was my third time staying in this hotel. It is wonderful and has wonderful ambience. Nothing.

- Deepthi (8/5): Excellent. - Very peaceful The bathroom could be a bit cleaner

- Archana (1/5): - I stayed at your property from October 6th to October 8th, but I had to check out early on October 7th due to hygiene issues in the room.
Upon check-in, I noticed that the bed sheets had hair on them, indicating they had not been changed before my arrival. This raised serious concerns about cleanliness and hygiene standards. Additionally, the strong smell of cleaning liquid in the room was overwhelming and unpleasant. For a resort that promotes itself as eco-friendly, I would also expect the use of eco-conscious cleaning products that are safe and gentle.
When I checked out early, the front desk staff did not even ask why I was leaving before my scheduled departure, which was quite disappointing and unprofessional.
Given that I had prepaid for my stay but could not continue due to hygiene issues beyond my control, I believe it is fair to request a refund for one night’s stay. While guests are charged upfront, hotels also have a responsibility to maintain basic cleanliness and comfort standards — and to respond appropriately when those standards are not met.
I hope you will review this matter seriously and process the refund accordingly. Hygine.

- Manoharan (7/5): An enjoyable stay with scenic surroundings and a prime location. - The surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful. I had visited about 10 years ago, and it still looks just as lovely. The location is excellent, and this remains one of the better accommodation options in the area. The room and bathroom felt a little dated. It would be wonderful if the bathroom floors and walls could be refreshed or polished. There was also a slight damp, old smell in the room, perhaps a humidifier could help improve the atmosphere.
- Hugo (10/5): -
- Kattalai Ramachandran (9/5): Excellent resort very close to Thiruvannamalai -
- Prashanth (3/5): Location is great but the food is very bad. - Location Food was very very bad. Not hygienic and the taste was very bad. In-room menu was very very limited. Our entire family was sick due to the food.

- Kirstin (8/5): Very good -
- Dhruv (7/5): Good - Staff were excellent. The location and the amenities were great. The hotel bathrooms need maintenance, the towels and bedsheets need to be replaced immediately. They are really really old.
- David (2/5): Sparsa wasn't worth the price paid - The general setup and atmosphere The admin guy who received us wasn't polite and consistently showed poor body language throughout the entire checking in process. He should receive some sort of training on customer service and mannerism.
The showers had dark moulds on the sides of the floor
- Vijay (9/5): Superb -
- Sowndar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ps (9/5): Pleasant stay in rustic settings - Pleasant hotel with a spiritual vibe. Rooms are cottage-like "cabins" with thatched roofs. Nice garden area. So many peacocks about the place (mostly heard and occasionally seen).
Clean rooms and bathrooms.
Staff were pleasant and helpful. Dinner at the onsite restaurant was very good. Garden paths are uneven, which is in keeping with the rustic settings, but is not very safe for elderly guests.
- Nina (10/5): Exceptional - I loved how the hotel was surrounded by so much of green full of trees felt I was in a beautiful forest . The rooms were chalet style . The staff and service was exceptional The bathrooms were a bit tired could do with a makeover

Room was also good. No complaints. Very happy that it's fullly vegetarian cuisine.
