Deniz (5/5): Great location, especially if you’re on a budget, there’s air con and pretty good food available - The location was nice as it’s far enough away from the busy parts, but still close enough to walk. The food is amazing and so too are the staff. Staff did the best they can for us. Don’t like that there was no water on arrival, as we were told it could be a day before it happens. But we advised that’s not good enough and they jumped into action to help speed this up. We requested early access which was agreed on, however it never happened.

Arrived in torrential rain, nowhere dry and staff non contactable until 9am. When we arrived were informed there was no current water due to a water tank failure the day before which ment no water until 6pm that night

Maya (3/5): Avoid at any cost - The location is good The place doesn’t have a generator. Siargao island has many power outages, and when that happened we were dying of heat without the AC (which was barely working to begin with) or the fan. We couldn’t sleep, didn’t receive any solution from the staff, and were left alone to sleep with the door open and get bitten by tons (!) of mosquitos. Also, the water in the shower are cold, and the place smells like a bonfire because they light the grill below the rooms. This was super disappointing and I recommend you avoid this place.

Arzo (8/5): Nice new hotel with just a few rooms. - New hotel with just a few rooms. Rooms clean and bed cozy and good pillows. Wifi was the best I have had in the Philippines so far. At night it gets extremely loud. I guess there is a corrugated tin roof next door (I saw it) which isn’t properly fixed and when it gets windy and rainy, it is extra loud. Also, when I contacted the hotel prior to my check in to ask if an earlier check in is available, I got a very late reply, so more responsiveness would be great.
