- Neil (3/5): After three visits to Leura and Katoomba will not go back - Not much Firstly the management said there was excrement in the back door which our dog has never done anything like that which we doubt as everything was double checked.
The shower was so small and drainage was poor so that the water overflowed on to the bathroom floor and under the basin so that the bathroom had to be cleaned before it could be used. This was reported to the management but we got no response,
The bath is very big and deep and useless for elderley people if you get in it is nearly impossible to get out.
The airconditioner needs to be serviced or replaced as it sounds like a washing machine and can not be set to a quiet mode.
If you are used to a TV that has free to air channels forget it all you get is the netflix and stan and a hundred others quite useless for news.
You needed a mining licence to get the washing powder out of the jar at the washing machine. We left a note for the cleaners which we thought was helpful but suspect that has given rise to our difficulty and resulted in the first comment.
We have stayed in three places in the Leura and Katoomba area and never had any problem with our dog or cleanliness.
Suggest that this is a place to be avoided.
- Kristy (9/5): Superb - Lovely, comfotable house, plenty of space, pet friendly Very small shower
- Louise (3/5): It is value for money- you get what you pay. - The linen was great. It was cold in the lounge room.
The air conditioning doesn’t work properly and it’s noisy.
Also unfortunately the worst thing was the shower was blocked and didn’t drain properly so you ended up standing in a couple of centimetres of water.
- Nashel (8/5): Very good -
- Deborah (9/5): Perfect place to explore the blue mountains - Very nice and spacious place. We loved the garden and the quiet surroundings Ist very hilly to walk back to town😅
- Alastair (8/5): Vey enjoyable peaceful location. Had everything we required. - Quiet location. Facilities were good Shower leaked. Plug missing for laundry tub.
- Miklós (10/5): enchanting countryside, ideal for friends - spacious, stylish, well equipped. beautiful environment. strong, safe wifi quite a hilly walk from the train station, we ended up using an Uber instead
- Boxall (8/5): The home was clean and comfortable and suited a stay for a few days. - Location was good, though a little noisy with early morning traffic. The beds were very comfortable and warm. The home had lovely furniture and art. Clean, comfortable kitchen. The bath flooded the bathroom twice after use and the kettle kept tripping the main power supply.
- Kim (10/5): We enjoyed our stay immensely and our mini schnauzer did not want to leave. - This cottage was roomy and clean, and had excellent outdoor facilities including a front verandah and back covered area. The home was will equipped and well decorated. It was a bonus having two toilets. Shower recess small but workable. Otherwise there was not a thing we could disliked.
- Karen (8/5): the grandkids had a great time. - The house was great for our needs, it was us and our grandchildren. Sadly we were there on the wettest few days in Katoomba in January, so a few of the things we did were not the best. Nothing to dislike, I think we were there when the lawns needed mowing but as it was raining we could not get outside.
- Christina (3/5): Poor - Good kitchen Damp, dirty, dark, polystyrene tiles on the roof. The photos on the add were the complete opposite to what we were lead to believe. Very expensive for what it was.
- Rosemary (8/5): It was quite adequate. The kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed our time. - It was in a quiet neighbourhood. There was a leak from a pipe under the handbasin - so the bathroom floor was always wet. We could not get any TV stations.
- John (8/5): Enjoyable stay overall. - Comfortable beds. Location easy and quite . Outside needed some paint .
Other family showed up after we arrived and had booking for same address !
I had to provide them with number to call host . They had booked just recent through air bnb. Need fans or air conditioning in each bedroom please.
- Duncan (10/5): A lovely place to stay and enjoy the scenic Blue Mountains - Nicely decorated cottage with excellent kitchen in Katoomba The sofa was not very comfortable to sit/ lounge on of an evening
- Kathleen (8/5): Very good - Loved the whole place.. so cute! The shower is so super tiny and very cramped for my very tall husband (lol) and the air-conditioning just didn't warm up very quick. However we did make use of the beds earlier to keep warm lol!
- Kristelle (7/5): Nice stay, could use a bit more of an update, especially the heating. - Cute little cottage with everything you need. Very neat and clean. Although they had heaters and a heat pump, it was still cold. Need something to block the air under the front door - bathroom is very cold!! The neighbour opposite played very loud music all night.
