- Anna (9/5): A very pleasant stay! - The apartment is very clean, equipped with all necessary things and with taste (very chic Italian style). We appreciated the coffee machine with complimentary coffee and ginseng capsules which made the morning smooth for us :-) The host, Claudio, is a very nice and helpful person who speaks great English. We were renting an SUV and it was easy to find a parking spot in the neighborhood (free of charge). We only have one little suggestion for improvement: adopting a bit later check-out (11 a.m. instead of 10:30 a.m.).
- Elizabeth (1/5): scammer and horrible service, from location, to vibe to payment to customer service - none, false advertising everything was horrible. This place is so shady… we were skeptical about booking this as the listing says we’ll get the entire private place and price is for 2 bedrooms, 2 queen beds, and 2 baths but it looks good so we booked it. We should’ve known better that there are only 5 reviews with 5 star ratings and they’re all in Italian, not English, so maybe they were inside job reviews… when we got there to check in, the place is in a shady neighborhood with trash everywhere in front and doesn’t look safe at all as we already don’t feel safe walking in from the door. There’s no elevator, we have to drag our bags up the stairs. The guy who greeted us, Claudio, was yelling at us from upstairs to come up, he didn’t even come down to help. Moreover, he was being so shady as he brought us to the room which is to his apartment where the room was inside it, and he lives in one of the rooms, so the apartment it’s not private at all. We asked about our private entire apartment listing as we booked the entire apartment listed with 2 bedrooms and he says oh because there only 2 of you it’s one room only not the whole apartment and we share the bathroom in the hallway. we expected two rooms with the private entire apartment as what was listed on booking but what we got is false advertising with only one room with a shared bathroom, what happened to our private entire apartment???… they guy kept saying oh you want another room? I’ll charge you double you have to pay more and kept blaming booking.com for the listing of how he doesn’t know and wouldn’t take responsibility at all or even try to solve the issue… this is false advertisement to the core with the listing and he kept arguing with us and wouldn’t leave us alone… we told him we need to get what was listed on the listing and he kept wanting us to pay him more… this is ridiculous!!! He said “if you don’t want to stay here, go!!!”.
