• Ola Komor (8/5): Apartment with great views - Very good location (10 min walk from main train station) and amazing views (take binoculars!) Quite well equipped. Mattress was too hard for me and street noise was disturbing my sleep. (I am not used big city living)
• Ben (10/5): Beautiful view, friendly hosts, adorable animals- perfection - Very friendly, helpful and responsive hosts in Marco and Patrizia made for a very relaxing introduction to Palermo. The shared terrace, with its incredible views of Palermo in almost every direction, surpassed expectations. The views- especially at sunrise and sunset- were truly memorable. The difficulty was in leaving- we wanted to spend time enjoying the terrace and as such it was sometimes difficult to tear ourselves away to explore the city. The private balcony is also spacious and enjoys a lovely view. I don't recognise the negative review about the view from this balcony- there is an atmospheric ruin and a delightful panorama of the sea, Monte Pellegrino and part of the city centre from the balcony- it's superb. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable and well equipped- and much more spacious than imagined. A comfortable place where we wish we had been able to stay for longer. The location is ideal- about 15 minutes walk from the station and a similar distance to the city centre; on the edge of the historic city and directly opposite the Botanic Gardens. Several bars and cafes nearby- as is the Foro Italico and its parkrun. The owners have a lovely, well behaved dog and we were blessed with the frequent company of two of the neighbours' cats- as animal lovers, this was an absolute joy. Both cats were very friendly and with distinctive personalities- we enjoyed spending time with them on the terrace. We loved staying here, to the extent that we wouldn't consider visiting Palermo again unless we were staying at Panoramica Blu. The city is wonderful- but the accommodation choice really made our trip extra memorable. It didn't bother us at all but worth knowing that the wi-fi, while reliable, has a limited range. Perfect for disconnecting!

• Carolin (10/5): - Die Aussicht von den Balkonen ist einfach fantastisch! Die Wohnung hat Heizung und Klimaanlage, sowie einen Ofen. Und der Vermieter Marco ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Poor accommodation and amenities. - We stayed at this property for two nights as part of a longer trip across Italy, choosing it mainly for the panoramic views over Palermo — which were undeniably the highlight of the stay. Location is good and close to Ballarò Market which is only a 10‑minute walk and well worth visiting. Although I expected the apartment to be somewhat older, the overall condition was far more dated than anticipated. Both the interior and exterior showed noticeable wear, including large cracks along the balcony walls and a generally tired appearance throughout. We went out of season and the apartment was cold on arrival. Dated heating system took a while to heat up, but was sufficient once eventually warm. Would have been nicer to have arrived with it warmed through considering the weather. Several amenities listed in the property description were not provided on arrival, including a coffee machine, toaster, electric kettle, additional bathroom, free toiletries, bath, wine/champagne, tea/coffee maker, solarium, board games, puzzles, and an on‑site mini market. We requested basic toiletries and a kettle from the host, who lives in the same building. We were brought two half‑used bottles of shampoo and advised that no kettle was available, suggesting we boil water on the hob instead. While we did not need every advertised amenity, the number of missing items — combined with the apartment’s dated condition — left us feeling misled about what was included, especially for the price. There were some condiments (olive oil etc) left available in the cupboards but were over a year out of date. Additional issues included a broken toilet seat, very weak Wi‑Fi, what appeared to be dog hair on the sofa, and an uncomfortable mattress. No tea or coffee‑making facilities, toaster, or complimentary toiletries were provided. The property does have a small private balcony off the kitchen with lovely views of Palermo. However, directly below were numerous bin liners of rubbish behind a derelict building, which detracted from the experience. There is also a larger balcony shared with the hosts and their pets. The location is convenient — around 10 minutes from the train station — but this, along with the view, were the only meaningful positives.

• Johannes (10/5): - Awesome place with the most amazing views of Palermo. The only comments is that the lounge could be a bit more comfortable. The fridge was in the laundry room. But that is nitpicking.
• Katharina (10/5): - Die Lage war wirklich außergewöhnlich und die Aussicht spektakulär. Wir waren unglaublich froh einen Platz in dieser Unterkunft bekommen zu haben. Wirklich der perfekte Ort für einen Aufenthalt in Palermo. Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen!
• Alexander (10/5): Tolle Terrasse für einen Blick auf Palermo - Die Terrasse der Vermieter die man mit nutzen darf ist das Alleinstellungsmerkmal der Unterkunft. Man hat aus dem 7 Stock einen Rundumblick über Palermo. Die Terrasse eignet sich für den Morgenkaffee oder den Abendwein, Wem das nicht wichtig ist, der sollte wo anders buchen. Marco ist sehr entgegenkommend und ist sehr Hilfsbereit. Küche ausreichend ausgestattet mit allem was man so für 2-3 Tage braucht. Blick auf den Botanischen Garten. Wir waren im Winter da, es gibt eine Heizung in der Unterkunft. Wenn man das Haar in der Suppe sucht, dann ist es der Renovierungsstau in der Unterkunft.

• Tanja (9/5): Perfetto!!!! - Für uns der beste Platz in Palermo, denn diese Stadt ist im positiven Sinne „lebendig“, so dass die Unterkunft von Patrizia und Marco eine wahre Oase der Stille für uns war. Rückzug in schönster Form. Wir durften die wunderschöne Dachterrasse der Gastgeber*innen mit benutzen und hatten zusätzlich einen eigenen Balkon mit Blick über die Stadt. Die Wohnung hat alles was wir brauchten. Das Bett ist gemütlich, Klimaanlage eine zusätzliche Freude bei Hitze. Die Gegend ist außerdem toll!!!! Direkt um die Ecke gibt es authentische Restaurants und Cafés, die uns fast lieber waren als die mitten in den touristischen Highlights. Der Hafen ist nah, aber eher unspektakulär.. Patrizia und Marco sind extrem zugewandt und freundlich und für jede Frage offen. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft vorbehaltlos :)
• Yvonne Olivieri (10/5): - Tolle Ferienwohnung mit Dachterrasse,Blick über die ganze Stadt! Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich,haben alles gut erklärt. Die Ausstattung und Größe des Appartements war überdurchschnittlich. Es war sogar noch Kaffee das,sodass wir uns am nächsten Morgen einen Espresso zubereiten konnten.die Betten waren bequem,alles sauber. Die Dachterrasse gut ausgestattet mit Sitz und Liegemöglichkeiten und schönen Pflanzen. Preis Leistung war sehr gut. Es gibt auch die Möglichkeit,zu waschen und einen großen Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach hat es dort auch. Von der Wohnung aus kann man alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sehr gut erreichen. Auch einige Restaurants sind in der Nähe. Wir waren bei Tannura Osteria,und es war ein sehr außergewöhnliches und gutes Geschmackserlebnis. Die Wohnung war urde wir jederzeit wieder buchen Der Fußboden in der Wohnung sollte mal wieder gewischt werden. Und es bräuchte neue Jalousien in der Küche,bzw insgesamt mehr Jalousien

• Simona (8/5): Fantastic terrace and location. - Really good location, very close to the city centre, Mercato Ballaró, train station and port. The property has an amazing terrace with 360 view over Palermo with a private terrace facing the sea accessible from the living room (perfect for having breakfast or lunch/dinner). Nice building, quiet and clean. The bed’s sheets were not cleaned properly.
• L.M.C. (10/5): - Marco, el anfitrión, cercano y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Las vistas desde las terrazas son increíbles. Apartamento espacioso y luminoso. Aire acondicionado y ventilador de techo en la habitación. Buena ubicación a un paso del centro histórico y del puerto y con posibilidad de aparcar. Lo único que podría decir es que el ascensor es de esos antiguos, pequeños y con poca ventilación.
• Lieke (9/5): Fantastisch! - Het uitzicht vanaf het balkon was WAANZINNIG!! Je krijgt een groot balkon voor jezelf en er is ook een gezamenlijk balkon, echter zijn wij daar niemand tegen gekomen. Het appartement ligt op een mooie locatie en is goed bereikbaar vanaf het treinstation. Verder is alles op loopafstand onder het half uur. Genoeg faciliteiten om ook te koken en te wassen, er is een fijne keuken (met uitzicht over zee ;)) en er is een wasmachine. De hosts zijn erg vriendelijk en goed te bereiken in geval van vragen. Als je wil kan je de drukte van de stad opzoeken en eenmaal thuis kan je in het appartement heerlijk in rust van het uitzicht genieten met een drankje en een hapje. Al om al, fantastisch verblijf gehad! Geen negatieve punten!

• Dominika (10/5): We absolutely loved and enjoyed our stay at Panoramica Blue 😊 View from the roof is amazing, can’t praise it enough! Own - View from the balcony is unbeatable, absolutely stunning! The place was great, all the ammenities were available and we were nicely surprised by brand new walk-in shower in the bathroom 🙂 Everything was great, no complaints! Maybe one small suggestion: a cutting board with big knife would be a nice addition - to be able to cut all these juicy oranges and vegetables from Ballaro market 😉

• Renato (8/5): Very good - There is a private rooftop terrace with stunning, almost 360 degree views of the city, the harbour and the hills. The apartment is walking distance from the historic areas. The streets around the building are filthy, which is rather unpleasant

• Tim (9/5): Superb - Very well located in Kalsa which is just a bit calmer than staying in the centre of town with loads of good wine bars, restaurants and design shops to make a friendly neighbourhood. We were very happy to see the lift considering this place is on the 7th floor! Overall it’s brilliant and was perfect for us. The hosts are both very welcoming and friendly too! Only negative is that we didn’t have a sofa inside as this was being delivered. Other than that it was perfect for us!
