- Feleti (5/5): Passable -
- Tarryn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Saili (7/5): Good -
- Fiona (9/5): The staff were amazing. Sione went over and above to ensure we had everything we needed. - It was clean, lots of hot water, with air conditioning and the room was huge. Toiletries and water bottles for drinking were provided. The bathroom fittings were acceptable but could be modernised.
- Jose (8/5): Very good -
- Jason (8/5): Pleasant Accommodation - Location is good short flat walk to town and Restaurants - The rooms are HUGE with a large balcony. The host Sione cannot do enough for you, including airport pickups and drop-offs in the early hours of the morning. He was available at any time to assist over the whole stay if needed. It is Authentic Tonga. The product is tired from the outside, but it is work in progress. Tonga has limited accommodation and as a general rule facilities are basic.
If you are pretentious about accommodation and brand oriented this place (and Tonga generally) are not for you.
- Calvin (8/5): Very good -
- Sadie (8/5): Great affordable stay - Great location to Deep Blue Diving for whale watching, great restaurants and bars near by. Town was also a 30 minute walk or a 5 min taxi. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Beds were also comfortable.
- Zohar (8/5): Nice and simple hostel, staff is great - Room is big, bed is comfortable, a/c in the room We had to climb 2 floors to our room, property is a bit far from downtown -30 min walk
- Arvind (5/5): Decent for its price, not a 4-star hotel though, it is a guesthouse sort of - There are limited options in Tonga. When I booked this this was the only option available, I had no choice. Based on the reviews I was not expecting a lot and sort of matched that. Room was big, there was a 5 litre drinking water bottle in the room with kettle and tea coffee which was nice. I arranged airport pick up through them which was well coordinated and priced. There is no reception desk or lobby, the owner has a grocery story next to it and one can checkin there. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel as listed, at the most it is a guest house.Wifi was just ok during the day but worked very well at night. Floor was clean but closet was dusty. I saw a bug crawling on the bed (not a bed bug).
- Sarah (8/5): Very good -
- Andrew (3/5): An overrated hotel that is very expensive for what you get, substandard - Nothing really, maybe the room size was large Nearly everything, this hotel is not a 4 star hotel as marked, it is 2 stars at best and is very expensive for what you get ‘a dump’, it was not clean, had few facilities and was not secure, it was comparable to your own room in a youth hostel, please read all the comments from other travellers, very few have anything complimentary to say and there is a consistent theme of being bad value.
- Tabitha (9/5): Superb - Very large room with two doubles and sofa. Owner can take you to and from airport if running other errands. No restaurant or tour booking onsite.
- Vaiolingi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tabitha (7/5): Good - The large room No facilities or activity guides
- Sean (7/5): Good value for money. - Very good value for money. Rooms are a very good size. Beds were comfortable. Good location for us and they provided 5L of drinking water which was nice. Bathroom drains very poorly (basically floods). Wifi struggled but that's a Tonga thing generally.
- Hamish (1/5): Bad - Horrendous place to stay, bathroom in disrepair, 'disposable' paper towels for the shower, water stopped working.
Felt like a concentration camp. So disappointed to have paid so much! Worth about $30usd
- George (8/5): It was good, I think they are improving it as they go. - It's more of a Motel style accomadation. It's spaciouse and clean. Tea making facility, fresh bottled water. No TV , No in house phone. 15 Min waterfront walk into the centre of town. It suited my purpose. No lift rooms are on the second floor so it's stairs all the way. Host was very nice Mr Sione :) No mirror lol, no power plug near the main bed, there was one, but it was next to the single bed.
- Franciscofangbc (10/5): Exceptional - The living conditions were perfect. Hopefully there will be an elevator.
- Serdar (1/5): Bad -
- Melzee (7/5): Good -
- Tonydas (8/5): Nice enjoyable stay in Nuku'alofa... - The owner, a young Chinese guy, was very aimable and accomodating, even doing my laundry for free! And very helpful. The room and the bathroom were large and spacious. And the town center was only a short walk away. The bathroom gets slightly clogged when taking a shower...
- Saman (3/5): Not worth the money you spent. - Spacious /big room, furniture, Wifi is good. Building, access and balcony were not clean, lot of debris, balcony is with lot of dust, no cleaner/cleaning.
Rate I booked through booking.com was USD 297 (including taxes) for three nights, but charged 700 T$ (equivalent to 308 USD).
- Isabella (10/5): Wonderful - Allowed late check in as the flight was after midnight. Helped to arrange pick up from airport. Friendly and very considerate staff. Room was very comfortable and almost sound proof. Slept like a baby. Thank you for the very pleasant and comfortable stay.
- Melzee (8/5): Very good -
- Sulieti (4/5): Disappointing - The space in the room There was no fridge, no sink to wash dishes,
We had to wash and get water from the sink in the bathroom, that is unhygienic.
There was no Matt for the bathroom especially with a open shower like that There should be a shower mat as it gets slippery.
There was no cutleries or plates, only 2 mugs and kettle for coffee but nowhere to get water from nor there was tea or coffee or milk.
- Ron (5/5): Passable -
