Guest Reviews
- Tasha (1/5): Paid for a last minute weekend away with my kids.No communication from owners. No help from booking .com. My money has b - Booked last minute for a little trip for my kids No communication from the owner. Took my money.
- Alan (5/5): Disappointed - Generally a nice caravan, spacious and nicely laid out. In need of tlc and a good clean.
Exterior lights not working, rusty radiators and fittings in bathrooms, toilet bowl dirty, used tissues in bins and toenails on the living room carpet.
Boiler stopped working overnight so woke up in a freezing cold caravan with no hot water either.
My trip changed from family to a solo one, thank god it did as had my family been with me we wouldn't have stayed.
- Precious (1/5): It was terrible from circling around for over 1hour finding a place that cldnt be found because of a wrong address, to c - It’s a beautiful place to be honest Was given a wrong address which made me spend so much on transportation because we couldn’t find the place,And we used a cab. Also the place was not clean as I was taken to a lodge different from what I paid for, the host Paul is terrible and rude, no wifi (called to complain about the wifi and the host said he’s not doing anything about that) microwave wasn’t working(we ate cold food) no front door curtain, entire living room was just bare, ended up with a terrible cold from the rusty smell from the pillow I slept on. The whole experience was really wack.
- Wendy (1/5): Bad - it was doubled booked. and gave us Langford instead but never got any confirmation only through Paul who emailed me
- Quye (5/5): Passable - It was clean and comfortable Didn’t like the site.
Not enough kitchen equipment
No can opener no bottle opener no nice glasses
- Sarah (1/5): Don’t Do It - Not much Advertised deck, outdoor seating area, bbq, bar, tea/coffee making, cooking implements, toiletries, towels, bedding and there was nothing ! All attractions closed the caravan was filthy, the owner brought a cleaner who stood looking at us and did nothing ! Took bedding & towels to get clean and never came back ! We had to go and buy our own ! Woke up Saturday morning to a million ants in our food, bedding etc had to throw food out more expense. So had to eat out whole weekend in total it cost us £514 for 2 days !! The owner brought us a bottle of champagne but that doesn’t fix a ruined weekend.
- Nicola (8/5): Very good -
- Arun (1/5): Not satisfied - Nothing Nothing
- Brian (10/5): Perfect, just wished were staying longer. Will be back. - We were staying just one night, but wished we were down for longer. The Meridian Lodge was perfect for our needs, big inside, well equipped and comfortable.
On the hottest day of the year, the air conditioning was superb. Paul and Sharon were really helpful.
Can't recommend this place enough and will certainly be back on our next family visit to Northampton. Nothing :)
- Jane (10/5): Exceptional - The lodge was perfect for our family needs.
The owner was lovely and even supplied a chair for our daughter
Messages back and forward to see if everything was OK whilst we stayed.
Very comfortable and would love to stay again.
Much bigger than expected.
- Sarah (9/5): Meridian lodge, very good values - Very comfortable, spacious, not like a typical caravan No towels
- Wendy (9/5): Lovely peaceful and very clean everything was there that you needed. Plenty of space - The decking area was amazing loads of space and garden furniture overlooking the river.
Peaceful location. The television was tempremental but Im sure it will be sorted
- Nazam (10/5): Exceptional - On arrival we collected key the from keybox and shortly after Paul arrived to make sure everything was ok and if we needed anything. This lodge is an amazing place with really nice view of the lake.
- Tracey (10/5): Meridian loadge - Everything was perfect 💯. We had the best time thank you Sharon was a beautiful place to stay. Will come again defo xx
- Michael (10/5): Quiet and peaceful location, very clean caravan. -
- Dean (10/5): Exceptional -
- Caroline (9/5): Superb - The lodge was in a great location. It was lovely and clean. Will definitely book again.
- James (6/5): Pleasant - Caravan is new and well looked after, its comfortable and on a beautiful site.
Good outside decking and gives you good space when compared to a hotel room. We witnessed a fight outside the caravan next to us late on the evening, general clientele on the site wasn't great I think.
Would be great to proactively offer swimming passes as we stated this was something we were looking to do in advance.
- Kiera (10/5): Rememberable - Just so peaceful and tranquil for a busy site, I was down for a relatives funeral and it was just the perfect place to be to hide away and get comfy after. Sharon & Paul was amazing, very accommodating will be returning.
- Marlie (5/5): Passable -
